The issue in GetHuman-zentaza's own words
I just participated in HMRC webinar about self-employed grant. Which left me with more questions then answers. I recently applied for universal credit as a self employed person. The webinar gave an impression that because I applied for it I am no longer eligible for self employed grant in June. They repeatedly gave me an answer which was something like: your tax credits will stop one day before you apply for universal credit. It will not affect any previous universal credit claims. Once you applied for universal credit you can no longer go back to tax credit." Does that mean I won't be eligible for grant? What are tax credits? I still have to show universal credit all my self employed income, so I'm still working in period *********, which means that I should be eligible for grant, but it's not an impression I got from this webinar. Would you mind to help me with these concerns.
