Kindly respond promptly. - Claes D. +46 [redacted]66 I have recently received notification from the Broker’s Community regarding an investment account transaction (Lb [redacted]) totaling 76,[redacted] GBP, which was later withdrawn by the beneficiary. The funds sent via card transfer from Lloyds Bank in Great Britain to Sweden were intended for Mr. Claes D. Rune. Following an HMRC investigation, it was discovered that Mr. Rune, a Swedish citizen and non-UK resident, failed to pay the required income tax of 12.46% on this amount. The HMRC is requesting Mr. Rune to pay the outstanding tax of 9,[redacted] GBP through the Broker’s Community before 7th October [redacted] to resolve the matter amicably. Hello, I am John William Docherty residing at 02 - 68 Mansell Street, Springburn, Glasgow, G21 4JG. My National Insurance number is JN-79-28-57-B. I am currently facing rent arrears as my payments were halted in May/June. It seems there might be a mix-up as I used to work at Portban Holiday Park, but during the mentioned months, it was my father, also named John Docherty, working there. I have been attempting to resolve this issue with the DWP without success and have been struggling to receive the money owed to me for the period I worked. I am currently receiving Universal Credit, and my payment was unexpectedly stopped as MasterArmour Ltd. allegedly paid me erroneously. I visited my local office to resolve the matter, where they requested bank statements to demonstrate that no such payment was received between September 20 and October 19 from the company. While my legitimate earnings for that period were £[redacted].28, HMRC insists I was paid £2,[redacted].46. The local UC office forwarded this discrepancy to HMRC for clarification. HMRC's conclusion is that my earnings for the timeframe in question were indeed £2,[redacted].46. I am baffled by this unexpected decision. Furthermore, upon researching MasterArmour Ltd., I discovered it operates from a residential location.

I need to verify the authenticity of the email I got regarding a tax rebate needing my account information to deposit money. I provided my account number and sort code after logging into my account. No pin or password was requested, but now I am concerned about potential scam. My national insurance number is WE597739D, I am Eileen N., born on 07/11/[redacted], and my email is [redacted] Here is a summary of the email received: Subject: Tax Code Change Dear Mrs Eileen Norris, Your PAYE Income Tax records have been updated for various reasons like job changes, pay adjustments, company benefits, or pension modifications, resulting in changes to the amount of Income Tax payable. Ensure your details are accurate to pay the correct tax amount by signing into your Personal Tax Account. Beware of suspicious emails from HMRC—do not respond or click on links. Report any concerns to HMRC directly.

To whom it may concern, During the period between November 1, [redacted], and October 13, [redacted], I worked in a job where I was paid fortnightly for 11 months with no deductions taken from my pay. Despite having a signed contract with my employer, the issue was never resolved despite numerous inquiries. I have recently left that job for better employment and now I want to settle any outstanding tax owed. I have documented my earnings from that period in the hopes of resolving this matter promptly. I recently received a correspondence from an organization named "Profile Pensions" based in Preston, UK. They assert to assist in locating "lost pension funds" for individuals. The package contains an HMRC authorization form requesting extensive details, leading me to question the legitimacy of this offer. Can anyone confirm if this entity is reputable?

I am from Bulgaria and have been working for Staffline agency. I am looking to open a bank account at an English bank. When I contacted two banks, they requested proof of address and a tax coding letter from HMRC. I spoke to an HMRC officer on November 15th, who informed me that the letter would arrive within 2 weeks. As of yesterday, December 6th, which is 3 weeks later, the letter has not been delivered. Should I expect a delay in receiving the letter or should I contact HMRC again? Thank you in advance.

I recently received an automated call purporting to be from HMRC instructing me to press No1 under threat of arrest. I have ignored similar calls before, as I am aware the HMRC would communicate via mail for such matters. The number used for the recent call was [redacted] [redacted], which I suspect was previously linked to [redacted] [redacted]. My name is Vicky Chan, I am from Hong Kong and own a British Passport. I have been studying in the UK for 6 years and I do not have an NI Number since I was not born in the UK. My college requires my NI number for the enrollment application process. I visited the Nottingham job center last week, and the staff there advised me to apply for a student loan based on my situation, but since I am not applying for a student loan as I do not work here, I was unable to do so. Today, my teacher contacted your staff for guidance, and we were given a number to apply for an NI number. However, when we called the number, the automated system asked numerous questions but did not provide the necessary assistance, directing us to Gov.uk for further information. I need some advice. I'm thinking about starting an online trading company as a sole proprietor. I plan to sell solar power products as well as offer online training courses for emotional well-being. I don't expect sales to reach the VAT registration threshold. Despite these being different markets, can I use one business bank account for both under a generic name like MDS Productions? I erroneously completed a Self Assessment tax return even though I am an employee, not self-employed. I believed I needed to file to report my full-time job's income to HMRC. Upon receiving a self-assessment statement, I noticed a payment due of £4,[redacted].00, based on my full-time job income treated as self-employed earnings. I recently received my SA302 form from HMRC and I am looking to make a payment. However, I am having trouble finding the correct HMRC account to make the payment to. I tried calling the number provided on the form, but after being on hold for 10 minutes listening to a repetitive message, I was unable to speak to an adviser. I assume that HMRC still has a designated bank account for tax payments, possibly the same as last year, but I want to confirm this information. I have been experiencing constant issues with my benefits. Despite earning the same amount each month, I have been overpaid some months and received nothing in others. HMRC informed Universal Credit that I earned four times my actual income this month, which is more than I have ever earned in my life. This inconsistency is causing me a great deal of stress every month. It seems to stem from my initial sign-up date. I would appreciate a solution to this ongoing problem because being told I earned substantially more than I did and having to prove otherwise is taking a toll on my stress levels. After working full-time throughout my life, I am now only able to work part-time, and managing my benefits has become a recurring challenge over the past 11 months.

Hello, I am in the business of buying and selling used clothing for a profit. Eventually, I will need to register for VAT, which I know is set at 20%. However, I am concerned about passing this cost on to my customers as it might impact sales. Additionally, since my suppliers are all international, I cannot reclaim VAT. I have heard about the VAT Margin scheme but am not familiar with it. Will I end up paying both income tax and 20% VAT on my sales, essentially giving away 60% of my profits?
