I recently participated in an HGTV coloring contest on their website. However, after receiving an unexpected email requesting payment for magazine subscriptions I did not order, I tried seeking help on the HGTV magazine site. Unfortunately, the form required details from magazines that I never received, adding to my frustration. I want to ensure the $15.00 charge is removed since I did not sign up for any magazines. I am concerned about potential automatic renewals and do not wish to remain subscribed to HGTV magazine in the future.

Subject: Subscription Order Confusion Hello, I would like to address an issue regarding the subscription order I supposedly made after entering a contest. I received an email stating that I owe money for a print subscription order, but I did not intend to subscribe to anything. Please cancel this order and ensure that I am not charged for any subscription. I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter. Thank you, B. Barlow

I contacted HGTV Magazine to address my missing subscription issue due to my move to OK. Even though I updated my address in July, I have not received any magazines at the new location. The customer service representative I spoke with was hard to understand and seemed annoyed when I asked for clarification multiple times. She mentioned an outstanding balance of $19.95, which I disputed by explaining that I had paid for a bundle of magazines, and the others were arriving fine. She abruptly ended the call after offering me a 3-month extension. Fortunately, upon checking my subscription online, I saw my new address updated correctly. It's important for companies to ensure their customer service agents are patient and respectful to maintain customer satisfaction. I hope to enjoy my magazine subscription without any further issues like this in the future.

I continually receive emails prompting me to enter the Urban Oasis sweepstakes, yet I encounter obstacles when attempting to participate. The system informs me that my age of 64 is not eligible or that my cable company, state, or both are not accepted. If these criteria disqualify me, kindly refrain from prompting me to enter. I have been a loyal HGTV subscriber for over 15 years. Your assistance in addressing these issues would be greatly appreciated. I may need to reassess my choices and I am hesitant to continue spending time on a sweepstakes where I am ineligible to win. I am not interested in receiving a magazine. Please provide me with a satisfactory response to these concerns since I frequently receive emails from your organization. Thank you, Paulette B.

I recently received a 3 for 1 offer for HGTV magazine in the mail. I decided to renew online and selected two friends to receive free subscriptions. However, I received an email stating that my transaction was incomplete. My credit card was charged, but I lack confirmation that my friends will receive their subscriptions. When I attempt to resolve this online, I am stuck in an endless loop where it acknowledges my payment but doesn't allow me to re-enter the gift subscription addresses. The constant renewal notices via mail and email are frustrating, especially considering I have already paid. This experience is making me reconsider renewing my subscription next year. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you.

I participated in the "Flip or Flop Atlanta Sweepstakes" without any mention of subscribing to a magazine. However, I later received an email confirming my subscription to HGTV magazine for $14.99 a year without providing any payment details. The sweepstakes page did not disclose this subscription scheme or request any payments. The confirmation email advised me to wait for the transaction to go through before contacting customer service. Despite logging in successfully once, I encountered difficulties thereafter, being repeatedly logged out and unable to access customer support using any of the login options provided. I believe my money was taken without consent, and I am now facing challenges reaching out to them.

Hello, I am wondering if this is the appropriate platform, but my wife and I have just finished setting up a stylish vacation rental in the White Mountains of Arizona, in a highly sought-after cabin area in Pinetop. Pinetop is renowned as a top destination for cabin enthusiasts nationwide. We aimed to create a cabin getaway to showcase the diverse offerings of the region, quite different from the desert climate of the Valley, and to add some fresh charm to the area. We are seeking a prominent magazine or website to showcase our cabin and our journey. There is more to our story that we would like to share, but I am uncertain if this is the right place for it. Your guidance would be appreciated. Thank you for your help. ~J

I am very frustrated with the service I received. HGTV magazine charged $34.97 to my credit card on 11/28/[redacted] without my consent. This unauthorized charge from a year ago is unacceptable. I spoke with James who agreed to refund $22.97 but wanted to keep $12.00 for a [redacted] subscription. After consideration, I do not want the magazine subscription at all. Please refund the $12.00 promptly. Whoever charged my card without permission should be dismissed. It is my personal account, and I demand a full refund of $34.97. I have informed my bank about this incident. An apology is expected, and this should not happen again. Thank you, M. Cermak. [redacted] conf# [redacted] Cust# HGT[redacted]/5#00R06 J/F19

Getting assistance from your customer service department has been incredibly challenging. I have been a subscriber of HGTV magazine for many years and renewed my subscription for 2 years on April 13, [redacted], paying with check #[redacted] for $28.00, which was cashed. However, I suspect I only received credit for one year, as I did not receive any issues after June [redacted]. Despite speaking with 6 different representatives over the last 6 months, only one followed through by sending me back issues from August to November. The last representative I spoke with on 1-8-19 promised to send the Dec./Jan. issue by 1-25-19, but to date, I have not received it or the February issue. Each representative has extended my subscription date, the latest being May [redacted]. However, if I am not receiving the issues on time, extending the expiration date does not help. I am considering canceling my subscription and requesting a refund due to the ongoing issues. I am disappointed with the customer service experience and reluctant to recommend the magazine to others. Additionally, it would be helpful if you were transparent about not having an email address for customer correspondence.

I recently received a notice dated 01/20/19 regarding an invoice for 11 issues of your Magazine at $19.99, which I did not subscribe to. As an activist, I do not have time to read any magazines. The provided account number [redacted] mentions a prior balance of $19.99 due on 01/31/19. However, I have not accessed any online magazines or received any publications via mail. It seems the magazine subscription might have been linked to a sweepstakes entry for the V Magazine HGTV Atlantis Trip, which I did not intend to subscribe to. Unfortunately, my cell phone is not working, but you may contact me via email at the address provided. I would appreciate it if you could investigate this issue promptly and cancel the invoice for the subscription erroneously linked to the sweepstakes entry. Thank you for your assistance. - Jeanne S.

I have been receiving invoices for a subscription to HGTV Magazine, but I did not subscribe to it and I have not received any issues. Despite sending 3 emails informing you that I did not sign up for this subscription, I have not received a response. My attempts to reach out by phone have also been unsuccessful. I did not subscribe to HGTV Magazine and request that this unauthorized subscription be cancelled. I will not be paying this invoice. Thank you, Marilyn P. I recently contacted customer service to remove the "Auto Renewal" from my subscription and gift subscriptions. Unfortunately, the representative I spoke with seemed confused and mentioned canceling all my subscriptions without clarifying if my request was understood. I emphasized my desire to keep receiving the magazines but without auto renewal. I've been researching online for days on how to resolve this issue. Could you please confirm the status of my subscriptions? I hope I don't have to cancel them all and re-subscribe as a new customer if I still want them. Thank you, Sandra B. [redacted].

I recently received a "final notice" bill from HGTV Magazine, which I never ordered or read. Despite being a fan of the TV channel, I was puzzled by this erroneous subscription. Upon contacting customer service, the representative promptly canceled the subscription and cleared the balance. However, I am left wondering why this happened and how my information was acquired. I am concerned about any potential impact on my credit and whether others are unintentionally facing similar situations. Additionally, I found it off-putting that after canceling the nonexistent subscription, I was still pitched another magazine. While I appreciate the effort to generate sales, the situation was not ideal.

I have made four phone calls today concerning my undelivered HGTV Magazine. I placed an order but only received one issue by mail. Despite being assured my delivery method would be changed from Direct Delivery to postal delivery after a previous call, I have not received any magazines in May, June, July, August, or now in October. After a recent call with Rey from customer service, I was informed I was still set up for Direct Delivery, but she mentioned she corrected it. I am hopeful that the issue will be resolved now, but if not, I may request a refund.

I have recently noticed that my HGTV Magazine is delivered by "Doorfront Direct" instead of the US Post Office. As someone who travels frequently, I am concerned about finding my magazine on my walkway and the inconvenience of contacting "Doorfront Direct" whenever I am away. Although I requested last month to have my subscription reverted to US Mail delivery, this month I received another issue left on my sidewalk for days. I did not choose this delivery method and if it continues to be the only option, I will have to cancel my subscription permanently. I would appreciate clarification on my alternatives as this method does not fit well with my travel plans. Thank you for addressing this matter. - Donna O.

I just got the January/February [redacted] issue and the Food Network magazine delivered through Doorfront Direct. I dislike this delivery method. The plastic was torn, and 27 pages were damaged. I reported the issue online, but I also wanted to express my dissatisfaction with this delivery method to the responsible parties. I won't be renewing my subscriptions due to this. Thank you, Joey Schneeberger HGTV #[redacted].

Hello, I am inquiring about my HGTV magazine subscription. I was gifted a subscription for last year and only received issues for January to March [redacted]. Despite purchasing another subscription and renewing it in September [redacted], I have not received the remaining 9 months from [redacted] and the full 12 months for [redacted]. I would appreciate it if you could update my credits accordingly and ensure that I start receiving the print copies in my mailbox again. Thank you.

I have not received my January or February magazine issues. Despite contacting customer service three times, I was informed about some sort of "direct door" service that I did not request. I was assured the missing issues would be sent and my subscription extended, but I am still waiting for them. I prefer to have my magazines delivered to my mailbox for safekeeping. I am disappointed with the lack of assistance from customer service in resolving this issue.

Hello, I live in Colombia and I would like an email address either directly from you or from the Gellen show or Cousin at Work. I want to participate, if possible, in a remodeling or house makeover for a very special sister to me, as a thank you for all she does. I know that if you hear my story, you will help me from the heart. My email address is [redacted] I would be very grateful if you listen to me.

Good evening, I am writing to you from Colombia. I have seen the programs you do and the reconstructions you make for people in need. We are a family of ten siblings. My mom is a single mother. Her house is seven meters wide by 14 meters deep. Currently, her house is very deteriorated. We are of limited resources and have not been able to build her a decent house yet. She is 48 years old, and the house is falling apart. It is made of second-hand wood panels and zinc roofing. It would mean a lot to us if you could help us because every time it rains, the house floods, and it pains us because our finances do not allow us to build a new house.
