Download the software, which kept failing. Then I tried to call customer service about their problem. ... I bought your software online Presidents Day weekend (frankly the CD was a much better idea, it actually works). The download kept failing. Eventually I received a notice that I had downloaded the software six times so I could not download it anymore.*Fine. Absolutely untrue, but whatever. I tried to call to get that reset. The computer voice messed with me for about ** minutes, misunderstanding my problem and going around in circles, then put me in a queue for customer service that promised a wait time of about an hour. Not something I'm really keen on when I pay per minute for my phone calls. I tried again a couple days later. Same life sentence. I left it for a few weeks and tried again today and the computer said live customer service was too busy to take my call and hung up on me. We always get a refund so we are not facing deadlines, but this is getting real stupid. You're coming close to turning a happy repeat customer into one really pissed off dude. Please reset the download counter so I can at least get what I paid for.
I did not get close to downloading, and the server is apparently not able to resume partial downloads. Telling anyone that they have to wait for an hour on the phone to speak to customer service is completely unacceptable
Just reset the stupid download counter, and fix it to count complete downloads so no-one has this problem again. Whatever it counts, it does not count downloads.
I have been buying this product every year for a decade.
