I am currently using H&R Block Premium software. Last Friday, I reached my maximum for e-filing. Initially, I paid a fee of $9 and some change to continue e-filing, but upon hitting the purchase button, I received a notification indicating that my payment had been rejected. Interestingly, I could see in real-time from my online cash app that my payment had indeed gone through. In a bit of frustration, I tried three more times, and each attempt also posted to my cash account, yet I did not receive any confirmation from H&R Block that my payment was accepted. It's important to note that these transactions appeared as "posted" in my bank account, not as pending. Essentially, I seem to have paid for one e-file that I cannot use, along with three additional erroneous charges. This situation is quite distressing, and I hope for a prompt resolution.

I recently accessed my account and noticed that my tax documents are missing, with only the files I uploaded earlier this year visible. I can't find any emails from my tax preparer, Racheal Osborne, just my own messages. How can I retrieve my taxes and make them visible again? Why are all the emails not showing up? When I tried to contact Racheal via my personal Gmail, I received an error message stating "Message blocked" with a recipient address rejection. This year, Racheal Osborne prepared my taxes, including an error where she mistakenly listed my son as a dependent. Unfortunately, I only realized this after receiving my refund. I urgently need to amend my return, but I am unable to access my account or tax information. Please assist me at your earliest convenience.

I spent 6 1/2 hours on hold trying to resolve the issue of being charged twice for my tax software. H&R Block claims they refunded me, but the credit does not reflect in my bank account. Additionally, in December [redacted], the IRS sent a letter stating I owe taxes from [redacted] for not submitting income. I used H&R Block software that year and paid the IRS $[redacted]. The software ensures accurate submissions, and I filled out all necessary forms including Schedule C. Despite reaching out to H&R Block since January, the matter remains unresolved.

I went to the Fernandina Beach Florida H&R Block location three years ago to file my taxes. The tax preparer, Travis, seemed inexperienced and needed help throughout the process. After I left, he called me saying he sent the wrong PIN to the IRS multiple times and locked me out of my account. Despite my efforts, the location refused to assist me further, blaming it on the IRS. For three years, I couldn't file my taxes, missing out on over $[redacted] and my stimulus money due to Travis's mistake. I'm fed up with H&R Block's lack of accountability and the rude treatment I receive at their locations. I'm considering legal action because this issue should have been resolved long ago. It's not about the money, but the unacceptable way this situation has been handled since day one. I even tried contacting management, but they wanted me to pay for their email addresses. This needs to be addressed properly.

I contacted your office yesterday regarding the status of my tax return, which I submitted online over 30 days ago. I was informed that my return was sent by mail on the 19th, but I have not received it or seen the deposit in my account. The representative mentioned it might have been sent to the wrong account. After being on hold for two hours and then being transferred, I had to disconnect the call due to time constraints. Could you please provide some guidance on what steps to take next? Despite the online tools showing it as pending, the representative mentioned it should have been in my account on the 19th, which did not happen. Unfortunately, I am unable to reach the IRS for assistance at the moment. This situation is also impacting my stimulus check, so it's crucial I receive guidance promptly, as I cannot dedicate 2 to 4 hours waiting on hold. Thank you.

I used my H&R Block software, bought from Amazon, to file my [redacted] tax return. I opted to receive a $1,[redacted] refund as an Amazon gift card with a 4% bonus. Although my tax refund was deposited into my checking account on April 7th, I have not yet received an email about the bonus gift card. If the email has been sent, I have not received it and would appreciate it being resent to [redacted] My tax return was filed in the name of Thomas Csvany at [redacted] Sorrento Rd, Kissimmee, FL [redacted]. A representative informed me that my card number is [redacted]2 and advised me to contact the Emerald Card Services number. Unfortunately, I have been unable to connect with Emerald as there is no option to hold. Kindly assist in having the email resent or inform me of the expected delivery date. For further details, please contact my wife, Helene Csvany at [redacted].

I recently purchased a premium business product from Newegg on disc. My Federal return was e-filed on April 17th with transaction number [redacted][redacted]. The State return was filed a few hours after the Federal return. Initially, there was confusion as I thought the State return would be filed later, but I believe I selected to file both at the same time. However, my State return is still pending. During a chat session that got disconnected, I provided my contact information for a supervisor to reach out, but that never happened. The representative mentioned that I needed to submit another State return but did not provide further details. I requested my concerns be documented and forwarded to someone who could assist, but that wasn't done. I'm seeking assistance on reinstalling a program and transferring files from one computer to another. I made an error by selecting the business option instead of individual returns and removed the download without knowing how to edit it. I also need guidance on unlocking programs purchased from HR Block versus other vendors. I'm unsure of the current chat and phone support hours, as the message now indicates to call during normal business hours. I'm having trouble locating information within the program and would like to know how to request satisfaction guaranteed if needed. Thank you.

Hello, my name is Lora Sayge. Last week, I tried to file my taxes online with H&R Block. Although my state return went through, my federal return was rejected by the IRS. I was informed on the H&R Block website that the rejection was due to someone already filing taxes using either mine or my husband's social security number. Since I cannot reach a live person at the IRS over the phone, I am considering printing out my return and sending it by mail. I am concerned that this might be an identity theft issue and would appreciate any advice or suggestions on how to proceed. Thank you for your assistance. Lora Sayge

I have encountered issues with my tax submission. After waiting for over an hour to speak to someone, I was abruptly disconnected instead of being transferred to another representative. I paid for Peace of Mind and Tax Pro services when my taxes were filed on March 30th. During my recent call, the representative was unable to locate my details, causing me to worry about potential identity theft. The two calls I made had different processes; one was automated, while the other involved a wait time update. Unfortunately, the person I spoke with disconnected the call after I provided personal information. As someone currently unemployed, I need to resolve this tax matter promptly. I kindly request a refund for the additional services and the opportunity to restart the process. Dealing with this situation has been a taxing experience, and I hope for a resolution soon.

My husband and I completed our taxes today at H&R Block in Mt. Vernon, IL. Initially, my husband dropped off the papers, and later we returned together to sign them. Despite CDC guidelines for coronavirus, only one out of four employees wore a mask, while my husband and I had ours on. In Illinois, masks are required when social distancing is not possible, which was the case in the office. When I raised my concern, our consultant mentioned that wearing a mask was uncomfortable and made breathing hard. This made us uncomfortable, especially considering our age and health conditions. The lack of adherence to safety measures in the office was concerning. I'm unsure of the next steps to take, but I wanted to bring this issue to your attention. Thank you, Pastor Lynn Neal.

I haven't filed taxes for a few years because my income was below the filing threshold. In [redacted], I wasn't claimed as a dependent, and now, with a new job and better income, I need to catch up on my taxes. I'm not sure if I have to file for all past years or just for [redacted], as my income was very low. I have two W2 forms for [redacted] from my work as a healthcare provider. I'm looking for the most cost-effective way to file my taxes. In the past, H&R Block helped me with tax preparation knowing I had IRS debt and my refunds were being withheld. I spoke with the IRS, and they mentioned I may be able to resolve the debt based on my income. I'm unsure if this issue has been resolved, and I need guidance on how to proceed with filing quickly.

I bought HR Block software on 01/30/[redacted] for $74.95. When trying to use it on 03/30/[redacted], I couldn't activate it. Customer service said it was a software issue and after being transferred, I faced long waits. Even after managing to open the program, I couldn't input [redacted]'s or any info as it froze. I bought another copy on 03/30/[redacted] for $64.95, but the activation failed. I then got a disc from Office Depot for $59.61 and it worked fine. I kindly request a refund of $74.95 and $64.95 for the failed downloads. I believe I shouldn't be charged for unusable software. Please help resolve this.

I encountered an issue with the tax professional who reviewed our taxes. She appeared unfamiliar with the process, prompting me to file an amended return due to my own error. Moreover, she neglected to verify social security numbers properly. When I raised the concern, her defensive response was off-putting. Initially, I requested a call to confirm the social security numbers, but she brushed it off. After identifying the mistake, she advised waiting until I receive my tax return to address the amendment. This delay confuses me, and I hesitate to seek further clarification from her. I've been a loyal client of H&R Block for nearly 15 years without issue, and I am dissatisfied with the service provided by this particular individual.

1. I noticed that your website URL does not display the "https" designation when I am prompted to enter my payment information. This could be a security concern. 2. Your website lacks a clear option to select between "Windows" and "Mac" software, which is necessary before proceeding with the purchase and download of the h&r block tax [redacted] software. There are no radio buttons or visible indicators for this choice. 3. During my visit yesterday, I encountered a frustrating issue while attempting to input my payment details. Despite doing so, I received an error message stating "Your payment has not been received" along with a lengthy error code "E_E[redacted]C443BF869DE7FEDF9072B7". 4. The error codes provided are excessively lengthy. 5. Following a conversation with customer support yesterday, I was advised to revisit the website in an hour due to ongoing technical difficulties. However, upon doing so, the problem persists.

My son completed his tax return online and did not indicate that I, his father, could claim him as a dependent. As a result, my tax refund was rejected pending a correction on his end. I am now trying to amend his return, but I am struggling with the process. Initially, he was set to receive a refund of $[redacted] in withheld income tax plus an additional $1,[redacted], totaling $1,[redacted]. I purchased deluxe versions of both federal and state tax software as it was indicated that an amended return required itemization, although I am unsure if this is necessary. When attempting to file the amended return, the numbers do not add up. While he should still receive the $[redacted] refund, he may need to repay the $1,[redacted]. However, the amended return is showing he owes an additional $[redacted] on top of the $1,[redacted], which is confusing for both myself and my tax preparer. Two main concerns: 1) Why is the deluxe version necessary to claim the standard deduction for him when filing the amended return? 2) Where could this unexpected tax liability of $[redacted] be coming from?

Hello, my name is Lisa Carey. I am an injured spouse who filed taxes for 2[redacted] with my husband, Theodore Carey, who owes child support. We usually file an injured spouse form each year to protect my share of the tax refund. However, this year, our stimulus payments of $[redacted] each were garnished because of my husband's outstanding child support. As an injured spouse, my $[redacted] stimulus should not have been taken, and despite filing the necessary forms with your company, no one seems able to help me retrieve it. The H&R Block office where we filed is unable to assist, leaving me feeling stranded. I urgently need this issue resolved. Furthermore, if another stimulus payment is issued, I must receive my share to support my financial obligations. I kindly request prompt attention to this matter. Thank you, Lisa Carey, 11/8/[redacted].

My sister, who has significant disabilities and is mostly confined to bed, has asked me to help with her overdue tax filings spanning the last three years. She's concerned about receiving her government stimulus check if her taxes are not up to date. I reached out to my local H&R Block office, and I was advised that individuals on a pension and SSI might not need to file since they don't pay enough taxes, despite my sister earning around $42,[redacted] annually and paying federal income tax. I was directed to irs.gov for stimulus check information, but I found navigating the website overwhelming and not specific to her situation. Another challenge is that my sister lacks the necessary paperwork for a tax preparer, and I'm unsure if they can access the required information digitally. I would appreciate your assistance in addressing these concerns. Thank you. -Joe C. Jr.

I submitted my federal and state tax returns for Arkansas in March [redacted]. However, when trying to access my account to retrieve my [redacted] tax return, the system indicates that I have not filed my taxes. Despite receiving confirmation emails at [redacted] confirming that my returns were accepted, I am unable to log in on my laptop using either my email address ([redacted]) or username (Gorecke99). Strangely, I am able to log in using the app on my laptop. I have been waiting on hold for over 30 minutes just to access my [redacted] tax return, which I urgently need.

Firstly, I would like to commend the staff at the office I visited for being exceptionally friendly and professional. However, I do have a complaint regarding the cost of processing my wife's return in order to receive cash back. While I appreciate the efficiency in completing our returns within two hours instead of the initially estimated two days, I was taken aback by the $[redacted] fee, which amounts to 80% of her return of $[redacted]. Prior to my visit, I was informed that the cost for her return would be $68, which added to my disappointment. Despite being a loyal customer for the past decade, I am considering seeking services elsewhere next year as I have found competitors offering similar services for a lower price range of $60 to $95. I want to emphasize that the service provided by your employees is excellent, but I find it unreasonable to pay such a high percentage for processing her return, especially since she only had an RRSP form due to being unemployed. Thank you.

I started my [redacted] tax return in February. Unfortunately, due to personal circumstances, I was only able to complete it today. After submitting the return and paying the fees to H&R Block and $14 to the IRS, I received an email saying my return was rejected by the IRS. When I logged back in, I couldn't find the completed return and only saw the incomplete one. After several failed attempts to reach customer service, I finally got assistance from Javon. However, he claimed the return wasn't completed and I hadn't paid the fee, which contradicted my records. Javon then abruptly ended the chat without resolving the issue. I'm extremely frustrated by this experience and need urgent help to find my missing tax return.
