My stimulus check went to my H&R block Emerald card. I got a text message saying the money went to the card. However, I don't know where my Emerald Card is. I did not register the card on H&R blocks website. The website is asking for the CVV number which I don't have. I've called the customer support several times, but due to high call volume they hang up on me. I have a couple issues: *. getting through to customer service and not knowing if I will ever get through. *. if I report my card lost, what happens to the money on the card. Does it go back to the IRS? Or does it get transferred on to the newly issued card?

I called my local H&R Block branch and I told them my situation, that I had lost my emerald card. They said I can come in. I went in, they asked for my ID and SSN. They issued a new emerald card. I received it that day. I went home and activated the card and the money was there. The whole process took around ** minutes.
