In June [redacted], I submitted an amendment in person at the Stafford Street office in Worcester, MA, in response to a high tax bill from Massachusetts. After filing, I was instructed to send additional paperwork and payment by mail to resolve the $[redacted] bill. Despite following these instructions promptly, I continued to receive bills stating I owed the amount. HR Block assured me it was resolved, but the bill went to collections damaging my credit. After facing numerous challenges and missed work, HR Block resubmitted the amendment recently claiming the issue was settled, only for me to receive more bills, calls, and credit damage. When I contacted HR Block again today, the employee who helped me, Jess B., is unavailable until January. They refunded me $50 after persistent complaints, but my tax situation remains unresolved. I demand a full refund of the amendment fee and express my intention to discontinue using HR Block services due to this ongoing situation. My taxes are still not settled despite filing initially in the winter and the amendment in June. This delay is unacceptable.

I have been a loyal customer for many years. Recently, I had a feeling not to download tax software. Unfortunately, upon filling out the forms and trying to submit them, I encountered an error message related to fonts, etc. After being on the phone with customer service for over 30 minutes, they placed me on hold to seek assistance. The call got disconnected and redirected me to a survey. I had to troubleshoot the error myself by switching to a different browser. H&R Block should inform customers about the supported browsers to prevent such issues. It's important to note that H&R Block does not support Firefox, which is crucial information for customers. I hope my feedback is taken into consideration so that future customers don't encounter similar frustrations.

On the evening of December 13, [redacted], I acquired the FY [redacted] HR Block Deluxe software by purchasing the DVD that arrived in the mail, as is customary during this time of year. Inside the DVD package, there was a coupon code that promised a $10 discount off the $34.95 list price, making the net price $24.95 after the discount was applied. Despite entering the coupon code correctly during the purchase process, I was disappointed to see that the $10 discount was not reflected at checkout. This situation feels like bait-and-switch tactics, and I kindly request a resolution to this issue, including a refund of the $10 overcharge. Thank you.

Yesterday, on 12-15-[redacted], I attempted to buy and download the [redacted] Windows Deluxe & State software. Unfortunately, an error message appeared during the purchase, and after that, there was a continuous hourglass symbol with a message indicating a charge of $37.49. After waiting for 10-15 minutes, I canceled the transaction. Later on, I repeated the purchase successfully and downloaded the software. I want to ensure that I am not charged twice for acquiring the software.

We hired a tax specialist, Janelle Ebster, from the Falls Church, VA location 45 days ago to file last year's taxes. However, she has not been responding to our emails or phone calls regarding the status of the return. I visited the office nearby to apply for the Emerald Advance. I have been able to receive the advance for the past seven years by filing my taxes with H&R Block. Unfortunately, due to short staffing, the front desk clerk, who had never processed an advance application before, assisted me. Despite our warnings to seek assistance from a more experienced colleague, she proceeded with the application. We waited for an hour only to be denied, citing an ineligible income amount (code 06). They claimed to have sent an email requesting the denial on 12/10/19 but we have not received a response even after seven days. I am concerned that the clerk may not have submitted the information correctly. I am seeking advice or a contact number to speak with a representative, as the automated line I have is not connecting me with a live person. Appreciate your help.

A new trainee made an income error on our Emerald Advance application, and we were instructed to email a fax to appeal the rejection. It has been 8 days, while we were initially told we could reapply in 3 days. We had to schedule an unnecessary appointment to discover this information, and no one seems to be ensuring that the fax was sent or received. We feel as though we were hastily dismissed with a simple apology for their mistake. We are in urgent need of assistance, especially for our kids during the upcoming holidays. Your help is greatly appreciated.

I received a $10 discount voucher with the FY [redacted] tax package offer. When I placed my order promptly and used the coupon code, the $10 discount was not applied. The full price of $34.95 was charged to my credit card instead of the reduced price of $24.95. I kindly request that this accounting error be corrected to refund the $10 over-payment. I am unable to resolve this issue on my own, and I hope H&R Block can take the necessary steps to rectify the situation.

I loaded the H&R Block [redacted] Tax Software CD that I received in the mail, however, I encountered issues when trying to order it online after entering my credit card details. The program did not download even after waiting for a few hours. I have used H&R Block Tax Software for years. I recently received an offer in the mail for the Deluxe version with State for $19.95 with a coupon code. Trying to purchase it has been unsuccessful multiple times. I have attempted to download it or write it to disc, but the page won't let me select a credit card to complete the transaction. I can input my personal information, but I can't choose a credit card type, only enter the expiration date. Every purchase attempt has failed due to this issue of not being able to select a credit card.

I recently bought Deluxe + E-file + State and accidentally downloaded it four times without realizing because the downloads didn't show at the bottom of my screen. I'm now encountering an error message when I try to load the [redacted] tax software on my computer that says, "Software has detected an error with its configuration and cannot run at this time. Please try again." Although I received an email with my receipt, there wasn't a link included to download the software again, so I'm unable to reinstall it.

I found myself in a troublesome situation when I picked up my son from the Greyhound bus station in a questionable neighborhood. We stopped at the nearest place to grab some food, and as I was placing multiple orders, I briefly set my phone down beside me to get the drinks. In just 20 seconds, it disappeared. Unfortunately, my card was attached to my phone in my wallet. I usually don't keep them together, but due to the rush, I had planned to put it back in my purse soon. I am disappointed with H&R Block due to a frustrating experience I had with trying to file my taxes. I had an appointment on December 20, [redacted], but got denied because they claimed I didn't pay them the previous year. After showing proof of payment, the manager assured me it would be resolved. However, after multiple follow-ups and wasted trips to the store, the issue was not fixed. The lack of communication and inefficiency in handling the situation has left me extremely upset. I had to reach out to the supervisor and still did not get a resolution. I am dissatisfied with the service and the inconvenience caused by this ordeal.

I bought H&R Block Premium Federal + State back in October. I got an email receipt instructing me to anticipate another email with a download link after the software release around 9 Nov [redacted]. It has been over two months now, and I have not received the download link. I cannot find the software online to download and use my activation code. Please assist me in figuring out how to download this software so I can access what I purchased.

I took my [redacted] taxes to the Dunwoody, Georgia office on Ashford-Dunwoody Rd. on Oct. 24, [redacted]. Forrest Hobbs assisted us and said he would call when they were finished. After three weeks with no update, I visited the office and Forrest apologized for not calling, stating he needed rental income information we had already provided. Despite attempts to reach him, Forrest has been unavailable, my taxes are missing, and it's now January. I am frustrated with the situation and want my taxes returned so I can seek assistance elsewhere. Carlos, Earl, and Bill have promised to help, with Bill currently looking into it, though he is new. I am awaiting a resolution.

I do not want my taxes filed with H&R Block. When I went to their office, I was charged too much. Online filing through H&R Block was significantly cheaper at $49.95 compared to the $[redacted] I paid at the office. Also, I was not told about a credit check for the refund loan from Axos Bank due to my locked credit file. After contacting customer service and the office, I was unable to resubmit the loan application in time before they closed. This lack of communication and follow-up is frustrating. I have not e-filed my taxes yet, and I want to ensure H&R Block does not do it for me. I will contact the appropriate department to prevent them from filing on my behalf.

The lack of action from the show's management to address these issues only perpetuates the cycle of animosity. By advertising on such a platform, your company inadvertently associates itself with this negativity. I urge you to take a stand against hate by withdrawing your support from "The View" and similar shows. It is essential to reject promoting any form of hatred towards any group. I am seeking assistance with a refund transfer that I arranged following advice from the tax preparer who suggested I was likely to qualify for a refund advance. Despite expressing my concern about my credit score affecting approval, she assured me it wouldn't be a determining factor. I clearly stated I visited in person solely for the advance as I needed the financial assistance promptly. However, the preparer did not disclose the service cost upfront and only later mentioned additional charges for dependents. Furthermore, when I requested to file state taxes separately, I was informed they had to be filed together. Feeling obliged to proceed due to embarrassment over a potential inability to pay, I discovered upon returning home that I did not qualify. I am requesting the removal of the refund transfer fee.
