My name is Courtney Green. On ********, I came into your Upland CA office location needing to file my **** tax return. I EXPRESSED concern about being able to file with you and told you that I was already having issues with the IRS telling me that, because someone had been using my social security number, birthday, etc to boost their return every year since ****, I would have to mail my return into them. Your employee told me that since there were no negative dings*remarks showing on my name or my file, other than the no health insurance coverage penalty, I was good to go and file after I paid $***.** for your services. I came back to you on ******** and paid you $***.** cash!!! I was with my father and my boyfriend that day so I have witnesses. The same employee told me that day that I was going to get my refund check in the mail * weeks from that very day (which was false because the employee failed to mention it was an "Amended Return" I was filing because it was for **** and those take, come to find out, * MONTHS!!!). I called the Upland office over A MONTH later looking to speak with that employee and was told he was not there. The woman I spoke with, her name I cannot recall, looked up my file and saw that it was NEVER submitted to the IRS the day I paid you!!! She attempted to finish the job that employee said was finished and told me to call back. I waited until ********, to call back and guess what I find out? That, like I feared, it was REJECTED because of the EXACT issue I told that employee about on day *!!! So, with all that being said, I'm respectfully requesting that my $***.** cash be returned to me promptly and without question, per your company's "Guarantee" if a customer is not pleased and*or results of service were unmet. I bear no ill-will to that employee or to H & R Block and I pray this matter be solved promptly and professionally. My phone number is now (***) ***-**** and my email address is *****@***.com. Which is another point of contention with this whole situation. If the employee has both my phone number and email address yet can't reach me on the phone number listed, why didn't he use the email as a means of contacting me? If the employee even tried to contact me that is, but that's beside the point. Again, all I'm asking for is my $***.** cash back please and thank you.
