As a consumer, I can sympathize and accept that tax season is an extremely busy time of year for you, and that your staff must feel stressed and overwhelmed by the sheer volume of patrons that come through your doors and the pressure that comes with an April **th deadline. What is hard for me to reconcile is the absolute disregard and level of employee indifference that my Dad and I experienced at your State Rd. Springfield office.**You let us down in the following ways:****Throughout the process, our H & R Block Representative, Anne Fischer, seemed unaware of tax law and*or basic filing knowledge.***On April *th, the filing was finally completed and all signatures were in place. I was advised that the filing was sent through electronically.***On June **th when I started questioning the whereabouts of my tax refund, I tried to contact the State Rd. office. As you know, this office was unreachable.***I was able to reach another office and spoke to Cathy Dinsmore. Unfortunately, she advised me that the electronic filing was never sent through. She said she would send my filing through herself.***Within the hour, I was contacted by Rebecca Lynn who advised me that my file could not be sent electronically because of a faulty Identity Protection Pin that was provided at the time of the initial filing.**What I find to be staggering, is the lack of follow-through, concern or professional pride from our original H & R Block Representative. At no point was I contacted by Anne Fischer to advise me that additional steps needed to be made on my behalf regarding my taxes. There was no communication, no guidance, no resolution. Even if Anne was “Temp Help” during tax season, a company such as H & R Block should have some system in place to follow-up and follow through with patrons.**With that said, I would appreciate if H & R Block would compensate me for my time, inconvenience, aggravation and a job left undone by refunding my $***.****Thank you in advance for your assistance.**Sincerely,*Sondra Lynne Forman
