I would like to file a formal complaint against the location on Portage Trail in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. I talked to Sharon O’Donnell before I came to verify my price, looked online, and verified with her before we began completing my taxes. Throughout the process, she made various typos, then said it was because I was watching her type when I’d point them out. She could not get my address correct on my city refund, but said it shouldn’t matter, but if I am contacted, to call them. At the end of the process, I was told the cost is now $***, not the $*** I verified before we spent over an hour completing them. When I pointed this out, she said, “I don’t know what you want me to tell you.” I said I verified with you on the phone, online, and before we began. She said if I had checked online, then I should have known about the $*** cost for having student loan statements, instead of $**. She didn’t say another word to me, and I had to gather up my documents and leave. She did not say goodbye. Not only is the customer service lacking, she was not knowledgeable in the process. If I’m paying for my taxes to be done, I don’t want an error on my address and to be told that it “probably” won’t matter.
