I bought a personal care service on 6/30/20. When I scheduled an appointment for 9/1/20, I was informed that I couldn't receive the service due to a medical issue. There was no mention of this restriction on Groupon or the vendor's website. The business owner suggested I could get a refund. Groupon agreed but only offered me Groupon Bucks due to the time elapsed since the purchase. I have reached out to them several times requesting a credit to my credit card instead as I don't need $[redacted].00 (still $25.00 less than what I paid) in Groupon Bucks. I've only made 4 purchases ever with Groupon.

Re: Order # [redacted] I purchased a Sealy 10” Medium Foam Bed in a box through Groupon, which was supposedly shipped on Aug 25. However, I have not received it and after contacting FedEx, they directed me back to Groupon. Anuj from Groupon responded to my complaint (attached) and offered solutions, one of which was to reorder the item, to which I agreed. Unfortunately, I have not received any further updates. This being my first encounter with Groupon, I am quite disappointed. Kindly provide me with an update or refund my payment. Thank you. - M. I had a hair appointment scheduled for today, September 5th, at 2pm, but needed to change it due to unexpected travel to Jersey. I called Leanne Reilly hair salon to reschedule with 24-hour notice, but they didn't respond to my voicemail. Despite this, I showed up at the salon and they mentioned they listened to the voicemail much later in the day. They claimed they tried to call but I had no missed calls on my phone. They later said they would have called at 4pm. The salon stated they would inform Groupon about the cancellation due to Covid-19 risk for vulnerable individuals and requested a refund. I am also seeking a refund of £22.50 for an unused voucher. Their customer service was disappointing, as they failed to offer me an alternative appointment. As a retired legal secretary, I find their lack of communication unprofessional. I'm awaiting confirmation of the refund process. Regards, Anne Kelly

Hello, I purchased the Selsey TV unit from your store. Upon receiving it today, I discovered that the area for the TV is too small for my 48” TV, despite your advertisement claiming it would fit. The space only measures 35”, which is not as advertised. I tried to process a return through the Groupon app, but it seems to not allow it due to the size issue without offering any alternatives. I am disappointed by this and would like to return it for a full refund. I await your response with a solution. Thank you, ZJ.

Hi, my name is Denise Hutchinson. I placed an order on Wednesday, August 19th for 2 sets of Black and White Magnifier screens totaling $49.95. I have not received the items even though payment has been processed. I attempted to contact UBI Post for tracking information but have had no success. On August 20th, the package was in Hong Kong, and on the 21st it was in Sunshine West, Victoria, about 30 minutes from Thomastown. On the 25th, it departed from Hong Kong. As today is September 8th and I have not received my order, I tried calling the Sydney number, but nobody answered. I would like a refund as these were intended for gifts. I also tried emailing them without any luck. I hope you can assist in resolving this issue promptly as I am disappointed with the service. Thank you.

I am requesting a refund of $[redacted].99 for a reservation I made at University Plaza for 8/30/20-8/31/20. I am retired and on a fixed income. I was anticipating my granddaughter's visit, but her mom canceled, leading me to cancel the hotel booking. After speaking with Amber at the hotel, she advised me to contact Expedia. Despite a 45-minute hold and subsequent disconnection, I provided my details, only for Expedia to be unable to locate my reservation. Feeling frustrated, I contacted the hotel again and was then directed to call Groupon, but they were closed. Due to my limited internet access, I struggled to resolve this electronically. An email to Groupon bounced back as undeliverable. The misinformation from the hotel employee has caused me significant inconvenience and time pressure. Hello, I would like to point out that recently, every time I try to make a transaction, it does not go through. The system reports an internal error and prompts me to update it. There have been several failed purchase attempts. My last successful purchase was made on August 3, [redacted]. The debit card I used for payment is always the same and previously has not caused me any issues. I am requesting a resolution, thank you. I look forward to receiving a response regarding the management.

I had booked a spa day at Bannantynes in Birmingham, but due to COVID-19, we were denied entry by their staff. I have been trying to get a refund since March, but have not received any communication from them. I find this lack of customer service appalling. I have attempted to contact their head office but have been repeatedly disconnected. I am very dissatisfied and would appreciate a prompt refund. I recently visited a beauty bar for lash extensions, but unfortunately, I had a bad reaction to the glue used and had to have them removed. My eyes were so irritated that my vision was affected for three days. I paid over $50 for this service and now I'm seeking a refund or credit as I'm unable to go back. I tried contacting Groupon during the pandemic, but I didn't receive a response.

On August 6, I ordered a mattress topper using my Capital One card, but it was initially denied due to an incorrect date. After updating the date, I was mistakenly charged for two toppers. The following day, August 7, another mattress cover charge appeared for a 2-inch topper that I did not order. Despite my attempts to address the issue through chat and returning the extra toppers to UPS unopened, the charges resurfaced on my card. I am 73, on a fixed income, and live alone, explaining that I did not order three mattress toppers. I contacted Capital One to dispute the charges, and while they removed the two incorrect charges of $[redacted].28 and $90.39, they have reappeared on my card. I am willing to pay for the single mattress topper I purchased for $[redacted].28, but not for the additional two items that were returned. I appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter. I bought a Groupon voucher from Upstylish Cuts on 8/19/20 for $20. When I tried to redeem it, they said it was only for new customers, even though I had been there before. The Groupon page didn't mention this restriction, but the salon's website did. I wasn't aware of this policy and feel I should get a refund since there was conflicting information. If I had paid them directly, the service would've only cost $2 more. Can I get a refund of $20?

Hello, I've been trying to resolve an issue for a few days now and have sent four emails with no response. This month, I received two bills on my Visa statement from Groupon for Valvoline service. Although I only received one confirmation from you, I couldn't get the second page to print the barcode. Please confirm the order with the barcode and ensure the location is correct at 228th Street in Sammamish, WA. Additionally, please cancel the second order charged to my Visa. I hired Cozy Maid for a 3-hour service priced at $89. Unfortunately, they did not show up. Upon contacting them, I was informed that no invoice had been set up. However, on 8/22, they submitted an invoice to PayPal and received payment. I have been unable to reach them or the Groupon representative I spoke to via live chat. Being 81 years old, I lack the strength to keep trying to find assistance. Please help me resolve this situation.

I booked a 3-hour cleaning service with Cozy Maid for $89 to come to my house on 8/24/[redacted]. They were a no-show, claiming there was no invoice. I later found out they invoiced PayPal and received payment on 8/22. Despite contacting Groupon, I received no clear resolution from Cozy Maid. Groupon offered me two choices: to pursue a refund/reschedule with Cozy Maid or receive credit to use on future purchases. Dear Sir/Madam, I contacted the number provided by Groupon to book an appointment. After a callback, I was informed that I had visited their establishment a few years back, which I was not aware of. They explained that the Groupon offer was exclusive to new customers. They mentioned that they could not issue a refund directly and advised me to reach out to you for a refund. The deal was for a 90-minute Anti-Aging Oxygen Facial Treatment at Supreme Skin in Asheville, NC. Is this the correct procedure to follow for a refund request for this purchase? Thank you.

I purchased a Groupon for lash extensions, but when I reached out to a different location regarding my appointment, I found out the location I needed had a fire and is closed. Despite being promised a call back, I never heard from anyone. The original number is now unreachable. I am requesting a prompt full refund as I missed my event without the lashes I paid for. I am experiencing an issue with my voucher. The salon I bought it for does not accept Groupon and only uses it for advertising. They refused to let me schedule an appointment or issue a refund, instructing me to contact Groupon instead. To whom it may concern, I am writing to report an issue I experienced today while trying to redeem my groupon voucher. Upon arrival at the venue, the vendor redeemed my voucher, only to inform me afterwards that I needed to purchase drinks in order to use it for the food and golf activities as stated in the groupon deal. Unfortunately, the groupon did not clearly outline this requirement, specifying only that drinks were not included in the groupon price. Moreover, when I raised this concern with the vendor, their response was disrespectful and unprofessional. The vendor insisted I buy drinks first even after redeeming the groupon. Disheartened by this encounter at Harmoney Creek Golf Course around 4pm on Saturday, September 12, [redacted], I left without utilizing my groupon. Considering this unpleasant incident, I kindly request a full refund for the groupon or a credit to my groupon account. I have no intention of patronizing this vendor in the future. Thank you.
