Went on Sunday, Oct. ** with my brother to use the Groupon I had purchased at Taj Restaurant in Deerfield Beach, Fl. they had no a*c working and my brother was too uncomfortable to stay so we left. I went back today at **:** am, to use just the face value of $** for take-out. They would not allow me. to buy any lamb dish, or to get the luncheon specials. I had to spend $**.** for a luncheon special which would have been $**.** (chicken tikka masala) and I had to choose a vegetable appetizer for $**.**. The waiter said his "boss" told him I could not come in and spend the $** on anything I wanted.Tried to reason with the waiter but he said it was noted on the Groupon that was dine in only, no lamb, and no luncheon specials. *Very disappointed, not in the food, but in that I threw out the fried vegetable appetizer I got (because all other dishes off the regular menu were more expensive).*I asked the waiter if the dish I bought for $**.** was the same amount of food as the. luncheon special for $**.** and he said "yes". So I spent $* more and did not get the lamb luncheon.special I wanted for $**.**.*I feel the owner gave incorrect instructions and did not read or understand Groupon's policy of being able to come in and just use the face value on anything you want. Am I correct in this?
