Hello.**My request: Please refund the ticket so that I can repurchase it on August ** or move out the expiration date on my current ticket to November **. **We have a trip planned for Nov. ** - ** which is a week and *** late for the expiration date. When I called the Pirates Dinner Adventure company, today, to see if they would honor the voucher, they said that they would NOT (which is surprising being that it appears to be an on-going promotion (over **,*** people have purchased the deal). **Here's what happened: *When I first ordered tickets for the Pirates Dinner Adventure, it charged my old credit card number (I didn't know that you had stored my number) and was surprised when the purchase went through without info. Also, I hadn't seen the expiration date because I looked under the "Good to Know" section and I didn't see it - I didn't realize that if I scrolled down a little further on my computer I woulld find a "Fine Print" section. So, I requested a refund. It went through smoothly. Thank you, Groupon!**I had planned to wait until August ** to reorder when I read a message on my phone saying something like, "my opportunity to save an additional **% would expire at midnight (I was supposed to use the word, "SAVE"). **That was critical for me because right now the financial and emotional need is great (I am going through a divorce after ** years and I was a stay-at-home mom for most of that* and one week after I moved out of my house with my husband, my father unexpectedly passed. Now, I am caring for my mother who is in the beginning stages of dementia. **So, I decided to place the order to try to save the extra **% (which ended up not being valid, anyway). I assumed the company would honor the voucher since it was so close to the expiration date. I also knew - or at least thought I knew - that if the Pirates company said, "No", I could get a refund from Groupon (or it least get the cash value equivelant) and then wait the extra week and ***. Unfortunately, I could not get the refund from Groupon, either. **My intentions have never been to not go the show. It has always been to purchase it for our trip happening on Nov. ** - ** (the airline tickets have already been ordered).**Thank you for your time!
