I recently purchased a snorkeling adventure with La Jolla Water Sports in San Diego through Groupon for our vacation. I attempted to schedule our appointment, but only reached an answering service and left a message for the owner. Despite leaving a message, I did not receive a callback. My husband encountered the same issue the following day. After multiple attempts, he managed to speak to someone, but by then, only two spots were available within our vacation timeframe, leaving me without an available slot. As we won't return to San Diego before the Groupon expires, I am requesting a refund for this booking. I noticed a $99 charge on my credit card statement. When trying to access my Groupon account, I encountered issues with my password. After resetting it, I received an email stating that I didn't have an account. Finally managing to log back in, I discovered a purchase for a massage in Las Vegas that was then exchanged for two Sam's Club passes, neither of which I authorized. I suspect someone on your end may have unlocked my account. I need guidance on how to dispute these transactions associated with my card ending in [redacted], expiring in 11/20. The $99 purchase occurred last night under [redacted] Despite numerous emails and chat requests, I feel like I'm not getting the assistance I need. I am getting confused responses like "I don't understand your question" or "How can I help you?" I need clear instructions on how to proceed with disputing this charge.

My mother and I purchased a Groupon deal for a two-night stay at Wyndham in Tulsa. Upon our arrival at 3 PM, our rooms were not ready as promised, and we were asked to wait for 30 minutes. When we went to the pool area to pass the time, we were disappointed to find the facilities in poor condition - the water features were not working, the lily pads were missing nets, trash was in the pool, and one slide was broken. Feeling that the area was not safe or clean for my kids, I took them back to the waiting room. After 45 minutes, we were still without a room, and the employee (identified as Rauel) informed us it could be after 8 PM before one was ready. I was frustrated by the situation, especially seeing rooms being assigned out of order. Eventually, Rauel suggested we find alternative accommodations and cancel our Groupon reservation. Faced with a long wait and having to entertain five kids in a waiting room, I decided to book elsewhere. I am seeking reimbursement for my mother and myself and would appreciate your assistance with this matter.

I purchased an exotic car driving experience from Circuit 1 Events through GroupOn for $99. It was intended as a birthday gift for the weekend of April 18th in Orlando, Florida. However, when I tried to schedule a drive time on their website, I couldn't find any dates beyond March 10. After reaching out via email for assistance, I received no reply. Upon attempting to schedule again, there were no upcoming events listed at all. I asked Circuit 1 how to book for the specific weekend or obtain a refund. Their response indicated events would resume in the fall. Unfortunately, this does not work for me, as the gift was meant for a particular timeframe and the voucher expires before then. I am requesting a refund for this voucher.

I was informed by Sam's Club that to claim my $71.27 cash back, a membership was required. Therefore, I joined Sam's Club via Groupon but had not yet activated it. Subsequently, I learned this was not necessary as I only needed the membership to access my cash back. The closure of the nearest store led to my non-usage of the membership. As I have retrieved my $71 cash back, the membership holds no value for me. Requesting a $35 credit from Groupon for future purchases due to this misunderstanding. I have always received excellent assistance from you and hope for a resolution in this matter. Being 82 years old might have contributed to the confusion surrounding my actions. - Joan C.

I was looking forward to using my Groupon at gloss for my first appointment. I was excited about the savings offered and confirmed over the phone that they would accept the Groupon. However, upon arrival, I was surprised to be charged more than expected. Despite being assured over the phone that the Groupon would cover my desired hair treatment, I ended up paying an extra $95 on top of the $72 Groupon price, totaling $[redacted]. This was not the deal I was anticipating, and I am disheartened by this experience at the salon and with using Groupon in the future.

I am attempting to buy 4 tickets for the National Geographic Symphony in Ann Arbor on April 4th. However, every time I try, I receive an error message stating, "There was a problem when trying to enter the checkout page, please try again in a few minutes." I have attempted this on Safari, Internet Explorer, and Chrome browsers multiple times over a 24-hour period, both on my phone and desktop, as well as through their app, but none of the methods seem to work. After a futile "live chat" with Groupon, where no progress was made, I requested an escalation, but there hasn't been any resolution yet. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I am extremely upset. I bought a Groupon for a macaroon class for two people and scheduled it for 03/21/19. When I checked the fine print two days before, it said "redeemed," even though I hadn't used it yet. Customer service agreed to un-redeem it, understanding it was a mistake, as I have been a loyal customer without issues before. On the day of the class, my boyfriend and I, who is a firefighter, adjusted our schedules to attend. To my dismay, the voucher still showed as "redeemed," causing me to start a live chat in a panic, only to be told there was nothing they could do. It's frustrating that Groupon, being such a large company, couldn't verify the voucher was unused. I have the confirmation email from Cocu Social to prove I missed the class due to Groupon's error. I attempted to purchase a package of infrared sauna sessions. While updating my payment information with my Visa card, I faced difficulty entering the postal code. After attempting to place the order unsuccessfully twice, I received two failed payment emails from Groupon. The initial payment on the website was $53, and I utilized 3 Groupon bucks when trying to order via the app. Eventually, I managed to update the postal code information and reprocessed the Groupon order, but noticed the price had increased to $56. I paid $53 after the Groupon bucks were applied. I have no other card available, and I am concerned about the pending status and the impending expiration of the Groupon in 24 hours. I purchased a Stainless Steel Countertop Water Distiller Machine Water Purifier from Fastbuy Inc. through Wmart on Groupon on February 16, [redacted]. After receiving an email on February 18, [redacted] about the preparation to ship, I did not hear any updates. According to the Groupon tracking information, the item was only prepared to ship but never actually shipped. Despite the order number [redacted] and payment of $89.99 for the distiller and $9.99 for shipping, the product did not reach Joel Wallace at [redacted] W. Warnimont Ct. #4, Milwaukee WI, [redacted]. I purchased a Groupon for Xindy Foot Spa for a couples massage, order number: [redacted]. Unfortunately, my wife and her sister had a terrible experience. The spa had no private rooms, just one large room with beds where clients were not fully clothed. My pregnant wife made this clear to the staff, but they did not accommodate her. They were uncomfortable due to the lack of privacy and unprofessional behavior from the staff. Despite not receiving any services, the Groupon was marked as redeemed. Hello. I encountered two issues with my recent purchases. Firstly, I unintentionally bought two of the same Swedish massage Groupons. This occurred because my bank alerted me about the initial transaction not going through, prompting me to repurchase it, only later realizing that the first payment had actually processed. Secondly, I also purchased two laser hair removal Groupons without realizing there was a limit of one per customer.

I have encountered issues with two deals that I need refunds for. One problem involves a Groupon purchase for 1800Flowers.com made around March 6 or 7. Despite the website advertising delivery in the USA and Canada, no Canadian postal codes are accepted. When contacting 1800Flowers.com, they couldn't find any reference to my order and suggested reaching out to Groupon. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a way to contact anyone through the Groupon app or website. It feels like my money was taken without receiving the service. Another issue is with a recent purchase of a New York City tour. I haven't received a confirmation, though the amount shows as "holding" on my credit card without being charged. I bought a Groupon for a massage on 12/14/[redacted] in Portland, ME, but I live in Boston. When I tried to book in early January, there were no appointments for my weekend in Portland. Now, for my upcoming trip on 4/17/19, I checked the website and the only available dates are 5/16 or 5/21, which don't work for me. The limited availability has made it impossible to schedule a massage, and the coupon is expiring soon. I bought a Groupon deal for M’s Cuts in Thousand Oaks. Trying to book an appointment has been difficult since the girl is never available. I called today to schedule before the April 4th expiration, but she said she couldn't fit me in. When I asked if the Groupon would still be valid since I tried to book before it expired, she said no and I would have to pay the difference. This situation seems suspicious to me, and I am uncomfortable with the service. I am asking Groupon for a $37.00 refund as I do not plan to use this service at all.
