On Saturday the **rd of February I arrived at kings Hotel to spend the night with my partner as a gift from my sister in celebration of our ** year anniversary. This was a very special night we were very much looking forward to. On arrival I was disappointed to find that the boiler had gone in the hotel and that there was no hot water or heating in the bedrooms. We were told it would be on within the next couple of hours so remained hopeful that we would be able to shower before heading out for the evening. The room was freezing and not equipped with any blankets or anything to components for the lack of heating. * hours latter there was still no hot water so we were forced to head out for the evening without having showered. On return to the hotel we were told it should be on by the morning. We spent the night with no heating and the radiator was still cold in the morning despite being turned up to full blast. In the morning we attempted to have a shower with luke warm water meaning our single shower was rushed and uncomfortable leaving the facility not feeling fresh or clean at all.*Although I appreciate these things happen and it is not the fault of the hotel I do still feel entitle to share my experience and express my disappointment with request of some form for reimbursement of cost for the incomplete service received.
