I have purchased and been very satisfied with many Groupons in the past. I am, however, not only dissatisfied, but outraged by a recent offering, which I believe is nothing short of a scam.**I purchased a Groupon yesterday for “up to ** units of Botox”. The claim was that this was a $*** value. The voucher indicated that there were nine locations and that an appointment was required. When I called to make an appointment, I was told that no appointments are accepted and that the services are for “walk-ins” only. I asked about availability at the only location near me (Cherry Hill, NJ) and was instructed to send a blank text and I would receive a schedule. I repeated that I was only interested in the Cherry Hill location. The woman on the phone (Victoria) said “you can put whatever you want in the text message, and you’ll get the schedule. She then dismissed me telling me that she had other phone calls.**I sent a text message inquiring about schedule for the Cherry Hill location and received a response that there is ONE DAY ONLY (!****) for TWO HOURS (* to * p.m.) available at this location. In addition I received a schedule showing FIFTY-NINE LOCATIONS, none of which are accessible to me, with the exception Cherry Hill. Apparently, the “Doctor” offers services for a few hours a day at each of these fifty-nine locations. This was just the first red flag. **I was also sent a price list for services and a photo of a billboard. The regular prices listed were not only NOT $***, for the service I had purchased, but considerably LOWER than what is being charged by Groupon.**There are copies of all of the above-described attachments below. **I know that Groupon has always had a good reputation and I am surprised that you let this get by. **Under the circumstances, I must insist on a CANCELLATION and FULL REFUND.
