The issue in GetHuman-ritamei's own words
Hello, **I tried to send an email through the form, but apparently they are limited to about the length of a twitter post. **I recently purchased two of the following groupon https:**www.groupon.com*deals*gg-picaboo-personalized-premium-calendars having selected the ** calendar option. The first surprise came when I realized the total was to be charged in US dollars. But, ok, my bad I missed that part. My purchase just turned from a $*** purchase into $*** dollar purchase, but I can live with that. All that's left to pay after this is the shipping, how much can it cost to ship ** calendars? The answer is $** US to Canada plus a $** surcharge and duties to be paid on $**** worth of calendars as it goes by the regular price - times TWO because the two orders of ** calendars can not be combined into one shipment apparently. So that's $*** $*** $** (duties) * $*** x* which comes to $*** Canadian beyond the groupon price of $*** Canadian for a grand total of $***, which is nearly *x the amount I thought I was paying for ** calendars. One would think that this would be worth a mention somewhere in the fine print, however all it says is that taxes and shipping must be paid. To contrast the shipping cost of $*** without duties to pay per ** calendars, if I ordered ** calendars totalling $**** on amazon, the shipping is $** US for everything! For further reference shipping ** such calendars with premium stock costs $** US from Vistaprint USA. Considering this ridiculous hidden shipping cost I believe this groupon is grossly misleading and entrapping to customers aside from the fact that as a Canadian Groupon customer with my location set at my local area I continue to be offered US goods where the fact that the deal is in US dollars is hidden away in the fine print. If I am on the Canadian groupon site I should only be offered prices in Canadian dollars. Therefore I am requesting to be refunded for the cost of the two groupons* The voucher numbers are GTQ*C**B** and GTQ***AF**. Please advise when this is complete, otherwise I will have to contest the purchase with my credit card company. **Sincerely, Rita Pupo
