Hello,*I am deeply disappointed with Groupon's out of US-based chat service. The voucher that I need assistance with is Enzo Trattoria with Order * *********. My whole family purchases deals with Groupon on a regular basis and typically we have had deals with no expiration dates. This time turned out to be different. As I explained to Groupon, we have been battling cancer for the past couple of years. My time and efforts have been devoted to taking care of my husband who has a cancer diagnosis. We wanted to go out as a family this week to this restaurant assuming that our voucher was still valid only to find out that it had been marked as redeemed. We were shocked and upset to see this. This restaurant only accepts a minimum of * people for a Groupon reservation. I originally had a voucher with the value of $** (to be used for * people). Last night I was promised my same voucher would be reactivated, however today I discovered that my value worth $** is no longer being honored. This is incredibly frustrating. First it was marked as redeemed when we had not used it and then I was told it would be reactivated again to no avail. In addition, I am unimpressed with the lack of empathy and kindness shown by the Groupon chat agents who from their level of poor customer service and lack of proper fluency in English, I can only deduce are based outside of the United States. We have been under a great deal of stress in the past two years due to my husband's diagnosis and truly did not know that the voucher with full value had an expiration date. In view of our circumstances, I want to request either a reactivation of my $** value or a refund in my Groupon bucks for services that were never used. *I look forward to hearing from you soon and appreciate your support with this matter!
