The issue in GetHuman-olsonni's own words
I am requesting a refund of $**.** from Groupon. After using my Groupon voucher at checkout at Kristen Salon, I was encouraged by my stylist to purchase another one and the salon would honor it next visit. I was surprised at this but the stylist told me that the owner allows it. So I purchased another voucher at this time and booked my next appointment with the same stylist. When I returned for my appointment, the stylist told me that the business owner will no longer permit me, a returning client, to use the new client Groupon. *I am requesting a refund today because I would not have purchased another voucher if I wasn’t encouraged to do so by the professional who works at this establishment. Since it was in fact, the stylist who told me that I could and should, I did .. simply so that I can take advantage of the discount being offered. I would not have thought to do so without being directed by someone who knew and had experience with this situation before. The business owner refused to honor the voucher nor allowed me to put the funds toward retail products. The salon manager told me today that my only recourse now is to request the refund with Groupon. This has been done in the past with other clients at Kristen Salon and I should contact Groupon for a refund.
