My group on order number is ****-******–******. I purchased a three night stay at Hill House Inn in Mendocino for my son’s honeymoon. I spoke to the front desk personally and they both assured me that “They have a beautiful room!” *When they arrived, the room was old and very shabby. There was hair in the tub which wasn’t cleaned. Trash in all cans in the room, two safety pins in the ice bucket and the bed and mattress was so old, they spent three nights rolling in the middle of the bed. We were also promised a beautiful view out their windows. Their view was a parking lot with a homeless man living out of his van!*When my son went to complain to the manager, the manager actually told him that he was looking for a new job. He told my son that he was correct about all of his complaints, but the new management didn’t care. He said nobody should be staying there at all. *My son said the saving grace was staying away from the Inn except to sleep and enjoy the surrounding area. *This was a total waste of our money and what an embarrassment to give this to our son and daughter in law for a gift! We not only deserve a full refund, but this Inn should be removed immediately from group on. I have purchased many things from your site and have never been misled like this. My husband and I even stayed several nights near Pacific Grove and it was even better than we thought. Purchased through Group on. Please respond as soon as possible. I just wish we could erase this honeymoon disaster from their memories
