Good afternoon, my name is Eric HENDERSON. I used Groupon to book a hotel room at the Red Lion Hotel - Air Port in College Park Georgia on ****-****. My stay was VERY unpleasant and I am highly disappointed. I expressed my concerns with the hotel tenants on duty, however, they advised me to contact Groupon with any concerns since I booked here. Let me start here, my air conditioning unit was leaking water which resulted in all of my belongings getting soaking wet with a foul smell. So, part of trip was inconveniently a “laundry day” because I had to wash and dry all of mine, and my significant others belongings. Maintenance was aware of this and they never fixed it so half of my room I couldn’t occupy. Also, I booked for two nights, the Groupon agent that sent the reservation over only put me in for one night, according to the hotel. Again, A HUGE INCONVENIENCE. I could not use my room key which resulted in me being late to a very very important event. The issue was rectified and I was given access to use my keys again.... for the moment. I literally had an issue with my keys from that point on. It got to the point where I dreaded coming back to my hotel room. I could not use my key at the gate to get in the parking lot, side door, my room, or even the laundry room even after I was given access again.. it worked when it wanted to. Again, I have expressed all of my concerns with management at the hotel because I am wanting compensation for my stay due to the very unpleasant experience and the unnecessary monies I was forced to spend. I would appreciate if someone would reach out to me ASAP regarding this issue. Thank you.
