I booked a *:**PM ticket to Sacramento from the San Francisco station at *** Folsom St and I was using the electronic ticket for the first time. For some weird reason I wasn’t told, my ticket did not work and I was not let on the bus. I tried talking calmly to the supervisor because nothing gets resolved with anger but the bus left and I was not let on board. I thought they would let me onto the next bus but no, even with the proof of purchase I had they said the only way to get on the next bus was to pay a $** cash fee to change the ticket which makes no sense because it was the company’s fault that I missed the bus not mine. I did not have $** in cash so my only option was to pay double the first amount paid for a last minute ticket to Sacramento to visit my terribly sick ant. I was treated like an animal by the staff from behind the cage doors and I was not listened to. I feel like I could at least be done justice by getting a refund on the ticket that I still have proof of purchasing that I did not get to use. I hope you understand the injustice I had endured and I have hope that you will be able to help me since I have used greyhound for years now. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
