Hi,*I am writing to complain about a long experience with your service. Please note that I do not want to speak with a customer service representative. I just want whoever is in charge of customer service at Port Authority to be aware of the quality (or lack of) at this location. I'd also like to address a company policy that strikes me as completely asinine.* I waited ** minutes for a bus that was supposed to leave from Port Authority in Manhattan at **:** on August **th ****. There was no driver available, which I'm not sure how a company can book a departure time without at least one guaranteed driver and one backup driver, but I digress.*I was told I was entitled to a refund. After waiting in line at the Port Authority Greyhound customer service desk for upwards of ** minutes without the line moving, I had to leave to board the more reliable bus service that I ended up booking with.*I then called the customer service line and provided the same information to multiple departments who all agreed I was entitled to a refund. I was then told that I had to wait ** hours after the scheduled bus reached its destination for me to be able to call back and ask about a refund. I would like to remind the reader that I am not taking the bus I paid for, nor does the bus have a driver so I have no way of knowing when it is supposed to arrive at its destination, or if it ever will.*I don't want the issue fixed. I just want a refund for the service I did not recieve and I want to inform schedulers that they need more people both driving busses and more people working customer service at this location. It should be noted that all the employees I interacted with both in person and on the phone were all very polite and professional, even when I lost my patience.*Thank you for your time, even though it is not even close to the amount of time I have wasted on your unreliable service.
