In moving to CA on May *, ****, I shipped * boxes from your Greyhound station in Ft. Lauderdale to Sacramento. A week later, I was notified * of * boxes were ready for pick up. When I came to the station on Richards, the Dell computer was stolen and the empty box neatly resealed. The printer box, in which I had underwear and socks, was opened. I made an insurance claim for that loss but Brian, the GM, told me I could NOT file a claim for the two missing boxes until after waiting ** days to see if they show up. Please confirm that to be Greyhound's policy to have customers wait that long, which doesn't make sense to me. I lament that Mr. Brian Mastin did not respond to either of * certified letters I sent...no letter, no phone call, on text, no e-mail...requesting an update and additional information about the status of my claim. Two weeks ago, Sarah left a voice message indicating one of two missing boxes was ready for pick up at the Sacramento location. However, upon my arrival she said nothing was there for me. I am not accusing anyone of "an inside job". But the staff at the Sacramento station has been insouciant to say the least, which makes me wonder IF the original insurance claim was filed in the first place. Please advise. Thanks.
