I made two orders using my Green Dot card recently. First, I bought boots for my daughter from Zappos, but later found out they don't accept Green Dot. I tried to contact Green Dot to dispute the charge but got no response. Then on Cyber Monday, I tried to purchase a backpack and tablet from Amazon, but the transaction failed. I bought the items from another place instead. The next day when I checked my card balance, I noticed extra charges despite already buying the items elsewhere. I have multiple accounts with your company. I mistakenly used the wrong card at the ATM and my accounts have been locked since last Thursday. I attempted to upload my documents using the website provided, but it does not exist. I have instead sent my documents through verifymydocs.com, and your team has received them. Recently, I relocated from Florida to New Jersey using Greyhound bus services. Unfortunately, during the journey, my phone and debit card were taken while I was asleep. I have taken the necessary steps to cancel the card, and I am currently waiting for a replacement. However, my paycheck was directly deposited into that account, and without the card details, I am unable to access the funds. I have been attempting to reach a Green Dot representative for weeks now to dispute some transactions on my card. Unfortunately, every time I input my card number, the automated system informs me that there are technical difficulties with my card and advises me to call back later or try online. I made two transfers from my Chime account to Green Dot three days ago on Thursday night. One was for $[redacted].00 and the other for $[redacted].00. Can someone please let me know when I will be able to access my funds? If I had known it would take this long, I wouldn't have made the transfers. I fell victim to a scam recently and was advised to purchase money pay cards. Thankfully, I realized before giving the scammer the card details and attempted to transfer the funds back to my debit card. My dog damaged my Visa debit card, and a chat agent advised me to purchase a new card for the balance transfer. I bought a new card and have been attempting to contact customer service by phone daily for weeks to transfer my balance to my new card with the number 4[redacted] 9[redacted]. Each time I call, I am put on hold for 45-60 minutes, and sometimes it seems like someone will answer before the line disconnects. Email correspondence did not resolve my issue, and I am incurring $7.95 service charges on both accounts without being able to use a card for two months now. Hello, I didn't receive a Green Dot card at my post office box, so I assumed I wasn't getting one. In the meantime, I needed an account and routing number for PUA to receive my unemployment benefits via direct deposit. I opened a bank account and started receiving weekly benefits there. I later found out that most of my claim was being sent to a Green Dot card that I didn't have. After emailing PUA support regularly for two months, I finally received a reply from them stating that payments were made to both my First Hawaiian Bank account and Green Dot Bank account based on the information provided. My card was stolen from Citizens Bank on North Oak Traffic Way in Kansas City, Missouri. I'm unable to access my card or funds because of this situation. After trying for 6-7 months to locate my $1,[redacted] stimulus check, I discovered from the IRS that it was deposited to a Green Dot bank card that I never received. Green Dot Bank has been causing issues for me since September 18th. I spoke to a representative this morning at length and made it clear that if my money was not returned to my account today, I would take serious action. I am a permanently disabled individual, and it is frustrating that after three failed direct deposits, I have yet to see any of my money returned. Despite being told I was the only one facing issues with my account being hacked, I now know I am not alone. On October 23rd, I was assured my account was secure, a conversation I have recorded on my phone. If Green Dot Bank continues to mistreat a disabled individual like myself, I will not hesitate to escalate this matter to corporate entities. It is unacceptable how Green Dot Bank has mishandled my funds, and I will be sure to share my experience with others.
