Two weeks ago, I reported my stolen Green Dot card, but the sensitive matter was disregarded. Despite requesting a new card then, it has not been sent. Today, when I called to speak with a supervisor, the person who answered was disrespectful. Shockingly, I discovered there are four active accounts in my name instead of just one. Additionally, when I couldn't remember the phone number associated with my account, the agent refused to assist me. As a disabled vulnerable adult relying on SSI income and my stimulus checks deposited into that account, I am distressed that no new card has arrived. The service agent was rude, disrespectful, and unhelpful, denying me the right to escalate the issue. It's alarming that fraud has been committed in my name with three unauthorized Green Dot accounts opened. I feel emotionally violated, and urgent action is needed to address this identity theft.

I have noticed multiple charges from the same company on my account for the past two months, with varying amounts totaling over $[redacted]. These charges include two at $39.95, two at $49.99, and one at $[redacted].00. I am unsure how to remove these charges or receive reimbursement as I rely on my GreenDot Card for my unemployment compensation. I recently faced an emergency and had to relocate before updating my address with Green Dot. Unfortunately, my card expired before I could make the change, leading to issues accessing my Direct Deposit funds. Despite my efforts online and through numerous phone calls, I have been unable to update my address and receive a new card. It seems like my account may be locked as I am unable to access it online. I have tried to update my address with the Registry of Motor Vehicles, providing confirmation of the change, but I have not succeeded in getting my address updated with Green Dot. I bought a prepaid Green Dot card eight days ago and have been struggling to activate it ever since. I've encountered various server issues such as "can't process your activation at this time" and "unable to validate your request at this time." I tried visiting Walmart, GoBank, and TurboTax websites for activation, but they all led me back to Green Dot registration. No matter which Green Dot phone number I called, they all redirected me to the main number, [redacted]. Even after entering my card information, the automated system tells me to activate the card first and hangs up. It's frustrating that such a large company like Green Dot doesn't have a more efficient activation process. It seems like they might be intentionally delaying the process to hold onto customers' money longer. It's alarming to see the number of search results when Googling this issue. I doubt I'll find a solution, but I want to warn others about this problem.

I recently purchased a Green Dot card and deposited money into it, marking my first time using one. I have attempted to activate it via telephone by calling the provided numbers, but there seems to be no suitable option for activation. My outdated iPhone prevents me from using the app to generate the required code even if the phone was operational. I have explored activating the card through a landline or email to no avail. I am having trouble paying off a negative balance of $60.55 on my Green Dot account. I was unaware of the fees associated with the prepaid card, assuming I could use it until it reached a zero balance like other cards. Upon my last use, there was at least $3.00 left on it, but now there is a negative balance. I am unable to locate a page to make the payment. Hello, my name is Elizabeth Rysdam. I currently use a Chime Card. Sometimes, when I try to deposit cash at the Walmart Customer Service desk, it is declined, and the clerk instructs me to contact the authorizer. Despite reaching out to Chime multiple times, I was directed to other retailers. Today at Walmart, I was again declined, and my cash was returned. I then went to Dollar Tree and faced the same issue. Upon contacting Chime, they checked my account and found no reason for the declined transactions. They mentioned that it might be a Green Dot issue rather than a Chime issue. I applied for a Green Dot account in March [redacted] but have not received the card. I bought a GreenDot.com reloadable card and successfully registered it, but encountered issues reloading it at both CVS and Walgreen's. Even after multiple attempts, the reload failed each time. The email link provided by GreenDot, accessed after logging into my account, was unresponsive despite several tries, and the LiveChat link did not work either.
