My Green Dot card was stolen on February 20, [redacted]. I ordered it online last year, and set it up in January. I realized it was missing, but couldn't afford to turn on my phone to report it missing due to family health issues. Over $3,[redacted] was taken from my card. I've been trying to contact customer service but haven't been able to reach anyone. I'm upset because this money is crucial for me as I'm pregnant and currently homeless due to this theft. If I don't hear back by Friday, I'll take further action. I can't even access my transaction history, adding to my frustration. Having a stable home for my son, especially if he has Down syndrome, is vital. When I tried calling, the automated system kept me from speaking to a live person, which made me angry. I made a mistake with the initial report date, but emailed on June 30, [redacted], and expect assistance promptly. If not, I will escalate the issue.

I am struggling to reach a live person who can assist me with my account. There seems to be an issue with my SSI direct deposit on my card. Despite being notified of funds being deposited, I am unable to access the money when trying to make a withdrawal. The conflicting emails about the status of the deposit have left me puzzled. To top it off, I have had to change my email address due to identity theft concerns. I kindly request a phone number to speak directly with a representative rather than a computerized system. I have a balance of $70 on my prepaid account, which I find ridiculous because when I last used the card, it had a positive balance. I lost the card in October. I am hoping to resolve the balance issue on that lost card and close it. I intend to keep my account open to use my new card and earn cashback. I believe the balance should be cleared as I haven't used the card since October. Recently, I received a Green Dot card in the mail. After my mom loaded $[redacted] onto the card, I noticed $14 was deducted for fees. When I tried to use the card, it wouldn't work, showing errors during transactions. Each time I checked the balance, more fees were deducted, leaving me with just $35 after initially having $[redacted]. I attempted to rectify the situation by speaking with a representative, yet was unable to reach anyone due to the current online-only service because of the pandemic. The continuous fees drained my balance, and I was left frustrated and unable to make any purchases. I hope to get a refund and will not be using this card or company again due to the high fees and lack of functionality.

I am writing to express my frustration regarding the hold placed on my funds totaling $16,[redacted]. Despite making an inquiry two weeks ago about the necessary steps for the deposit, I was not informed about the need for identity verification. I urgently require access to these funds today and am willing to provide any requested documents promptly. I implore you to expedite this process as waiting for 5 days or even 2 days is not feasible for me. I have been a long-time customer and my identity has been previously verified. I need to complete my identification verification urgently. I had called two weeks ago to ensure everything was in order for my funds to be deposited, but now I am informed that there is a delay and I must wait another 2 to 5 days. I am disappointed and considering transferring my money elsewhere. This lack of communication and delay is unacceptable. If you want to be a reputable bank, you need to handle these situations more efficiently and professionally. Other banks would have requested verification before the deposit. Please improve your customer service to avoid losing clients.

I can no longer access my email or phone number associated with my Green Dot card. Although I have had the card for a few years, I recently loaded money onto it for the first time. Since then, I have encountered issues with online purchases being denied due to outdated information. I am unable to update my details using the Green Dot app or online portal, and I have been unsuccessful in reaching customer service for assistance. I am willing to provide a photo of my ID to verify my identity.

I tried to load cash onto my card in store, but they couldn't help. I purchased a greendot Moneypak card instead. However, transferring the money to my debit card resulted in error codes. Creating a Moneypak profile proved difficult, needed for the transfer. Moneypak support advised me to return to the store for direct loading or request a refund, which could take 10-15 days by check. As a single mom without a source of income raising a 15-year-old, waiting for a check refund is not feasible. I desperately need the money loaded onto my card to support my family. It's been a challenging situation for me, and I hope for a resolution soon.

I have not received my refund yet, and it has been three days. I was told it should be back on my card within 24 hours, but it hasn't shown up. This situation is extremely frustrating because I currently have nowhere to stay. I would appreciate speaking with a supervisor as I feel I am not getting clear answers from others. I attempted to use my card, but it was declined, even though I just added money to my account. After checking my balance online, I confirmed that there was $61 available. When I tried using my card again, it was declined once more. Unable to use my card, I transferred the funds to my boyfriend, who received $61 in his account. Upon trying to accept the transfer, he was directed to use a Go Bank card, Green Dot, or Money Pak. He attempted with his Go Bank card by entering the 16-digit account number and expiration date, but the transfer did not go through.

I made a mistake when I tried to register my account by entering the wrong phone number. Unfortunately, I couldn't go back to correct it, so now I am unable to verify my account. When I called customer service, I was asked for my card information, and after providing it, the automated service initiated a request for a new card. I actually don't want a new card; I just want to be able to use the card that was already sent to me for registration.

I bought a prepaid card in Bellingham, WA, on my way from Los Angeles to Vancouver, Canada. I can't activate it online as my American phone doesn't work here. I tried entering a Canadian number but it said it was invalid. I've tried reaching a representative but no luck. Despite calling the [redacted] number, my SSN and card number aren't recognized. I have a case number [redacted] and I am inquiring about the status of the dispute with the water park in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. They charged $[redacted].87 to my card for a room and reservations I did not make or use. I also need to know if a new card will be sent to replace the one ending in [redacted], where the money was refunded but I can't access it due to it being declined. There is a $[redacted] deposit on this card, but I am concerned about the remaining $[redacted].87 that was wrongfully taken due to fraud. Can you please inform me about the process for getting a new card and when I can expect the remaining funds? Customer service mentioned it would take around ten days. I submitted the required documents weeks ago. I urgently need my card reactivated to access my funds. I should be able to use my card and access my funds whenever necessary. I used my Green Dot card on Facebook to buy a folding fat bike from Atwater. The purchase was made through PayPal, but Atwater is not responding to my requests for a tracking number or confirmation of shipping. After many emails, Megan Murphy finally replied saying the order would arrive in 3 weeks with a free gift, which turned out to be a pair of socks that don't fit. The tracking number provided was LY[redacted]31CN, but I received only the socks. I filed a dispute with Green Dot, but they denied the claim (case number: [redacted] 6c). It has been over a month, and I haven't received the bike. The purchase order number is [redacted] from June 16th, totaling $99. I have email documentation if needed. I want the bike or a refund since paying $99 for socks isn't acceptable.

On May 28, [redacted], I was gifted a Green Dot Visa card, thinking it was a Visa Gift card. Upon realizing it was a prepaid debit card that required personal information, I contacted Green Dot to explain my situation and requested a refund of the $20 loaded onto the card. They responded on June 10, [redacted], stating that the refund was processed, and I should receive it within 10 business days. However, as of July 21, [redacted], I have yet to receive the refund. I reached out to Green Dot via email twice, on July 2 and July 9, but have not received a response. Additionally, I have been unable to reach them by phone due to the card not being activated. I am seeking clarification from Green Dot regarding the status of my refund.

I lost my prepaid unlimited card with over $[redacted] in my account. Although I reported it lost and deactivated, the old card is still linked to my account, preventing me from accessing my funds. A replacement card is on its way, but I urgently need to remove the lost card from my account and replace it with the new one. This situation has frozen my account, making it impossible to pay my bills. I retrieved the lost card, but since it is deactivated, it is unusable. To address this, I request either to reactivate the lost card or disconnect it from my account so I can link a new card. I need access to my funds promptly to avoid eviction from my residence. I had my [redacted] taxes deposited into a TurboTax Green card. My taxes were accepted by the state and federal on June 29. I was informed a card would be sent to my address in 7 to 10 business days. After 15 business days, the card did not arrive. When I contacted TurboTax, they had no record of sending the card. I found out my tax return was loaded onto the card but I couldn't access my money. I ordered a new card, but after 12 more business days, it still hasn't arrived. This situation is frustrating because my unemployment benefits have ended, and I need the funds before I start working again. I have a bank account for the money to be deposited into. I just need help resolving this issue as it has been almost a month with no access to my funds. I was informed that the TurboTax cards are issued through my bank.

I have been trying to contact customer support regarding several issues, including unauthorized transactions, incorrect charges, a card replacement problem, and a missing IRS deposit scheduled for 07/22/20. Despite receiving an email confirming the deposit, the IRS mentioned the information does not match my account. They advised calling my bank to authorize the deposit. However, I've been unsuccessful in reaching anyone at greendot support for the past week or two. All I get is a message stating they are unavailable and then being disconnected. I have tried multiple numbers without success. I am frustrated by the lack of customer support and false advertising. I urge greendot to resolve this issue promptly and approve my direct deposit. If I do not hear back soon, I may have to escalate this matter further.
