After approximately one year of not logging into my account, I attempted to access it online with my original credentials, but was unsuccessful. I then tried the mobile app, but received an error message. I double-checked for typos, reset my password, and still could not log in. Despite several attempts, I was unable to reach customer service over the phone. I suspect the difficulty may be due to my location outside the U.S. I believe this is unfair to international customers in need of assistance. I hope you address this matter, as others may be facing similar challenges. Thank you.

I would like to report unauthorized transactions on my card ending in [redacted]. There have been a lot of transactions this month that I did not make, starting from the beginning of the month. I want to cancel both my credit card and account. Once my account is closed, I request a new account be opened and a new card be sent to P.O. Box [redacted] Cando, ND [redacted]. This is my mother's address, belonging to Shawn Schmidt. Please contact me at [redacted] if needed; if I don't answer, you may reach me via email at the address provided below. I do not recognize the email address [redacted] linked to these transactions and have no knowledge of 3/4 of them.

Hello, My Green Dot card was canceled after I loaded $[redacted].00 on it on 5/23/[redacted]. I received an email requesting identity verification, which I completed. However, my identification has changed due to my divorce, which resulted in me reverting to my maiden name. When I call the number [redacted], I am informed that my documents could not be verified, and my card has been deactivated with the account closed. I have emailed you copies of my divorce papers to prove my transition from Joyce Bloyd to Joyce Gatliff. The $[redacted].00 on the card was meant for my rent and bills, so I would like a refund. For further communication, please reach out to me via email or phone at [redacted] or [redacted] Thank you, Joyce Gatliff

When I filed my [redacted] tax return, I owed the government. TurboTax sent me a debit card which I didn't activate and threw away. However, when the stimulus checks were issued, it went to the unactivated card. I contacted Green Dot, and they informed me the card was somehow activated and requested a bill with my details to close the account. Despite doing this on May 1st, I haven't heard back. The customer service rep mentioned their email as RR at Green. Dot-com. I possess the account number but not the 16-digit card number as I discarded it.

I received my federal and state refunds two months ago, which were loaded onto a Green Dot card. Despite providing my address, the card was sent back twice and I had to wait for FedEx delivery for five days. Upon tracking the routing number on the fifth day, I discovered that the card was sent back again because my apartment number was missing. I had to pay for a change of address, but even after sending the corrected information, they claimed they never received it. I was given a code for a supervisor to call me in two days, but no one reached out. My phone service is at risk of being disconnected, my rent is overdue, and I still haven't received my card after two months. I am unable to resolve this online as it requires a card number, which I do not have. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I used Green Dot to deposit my stimulus check. After receiving three different account and routing numbers, I used the first one for the direct deposit from the IRS. I received a confirmation letter for the deposit, but the money is not in the account. Upon checking, the account number is different from the one I provided to the IRS. I am unable to locate my money and am quite dissatisfied with this experience. If only one account and routing number were issued, this situation could have been avoided. Please help me locate my money. Thank you.

I've been experiencing issues logging into my account for the past few days. I've been using the same computer and email address for over a decade. However, occasionally, especially after my computer has been restarted, I'm prompted to verify my identity through a code sent to my email or mobile number. Since I don't have cell service at home, I usually choose email. Unfortunately, this time the email with the code arrives after it's expired, making it impossible to access my account. I spoke to a representative earlier today who mentioned a callback from a tech expert, but I'm still waiting. I urgently need to log in to pay my bills through Green Dot billpay.

My sister gave me a Greendot Visa Debit Card with $25 on it. I initially thought it was just a gift card but got confused during the registration process. Upon entering my details, I discovered it created a checking account instead. I need this account canceled right away! I mistakenly provided my social security number and now I'm feeling overwhelmed and anxious. How can I close this checking account? Your assistance is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I seem to have received two cards from you based on your records. However, I'm only aware of one card that arrived this year along with my taxes. I don't have any other cards in my possession. It appears that my tax preparer, Carla Tucker, may have received another card using my details but provided false information to access the funds. Her previous address was [redacted] Cobblecreek Curve, Newark, DE [redacted]. I kindly request that both cards associated with my name be deactivated, and a new card be issued to me. This way, I can access my funds directly without relying on the tax preparer, who seems unwilling to provide the information she used in my name.

I am having trouble withdrawing cash from the ATM as my transaction was declined even though I have sufficient funds in my account. My issue started when my account with Greendot was closed around 2 weeks ago. There was a $[redacted] ATM transaction that went wrong as the machine timed out and pulled the money back in before I could take it. I then made another $[redacted] transaction and successfully took the money. However, my card was still charged $[redacted] from the failed transaction. I am disputing this $[redacted] charge. Checking my account history, you will see two consecutive $[redacted] withdrawals, with the first one being the unsuccessful one. There is $[redacted] in my account, even though it is technically closed, but I still have access. This account is under the name Walter Moran, last four digits of my SSN are [redacted], and the card number ends in [redacted]. I urgently need ATM access to withdraw these funds as I am currently without cash and need to make some purchases. Thank you.

I used Tax Slayer to file my taxes, and opted for the prepaid debit card. The funds were deposited around three weeks ago. However, I haven't been able to access the money as I never received the original card, which the post office claims they don't have, or the replacement card that was supposed to arrive last Monday. Is there a way to access the funds or get a replacement card that requires a signature upon delivery? This problem has been persisting for longer than I anticipated, and any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I have downloaded the app and set it up successfully. I registered my card and made two deposits into my account. However, every time I try to call the customer service number at 1-[redacted], it says it's restricted and prompts me to register my card online. But after completing the online registration, it tells me my card is already active. I am puzzled by the fact that I can add money to my card with no issues, but I face problems when trying to use or withdraw that money. Additionally, I am disappointed that I cannot speak to a representative about my account. As I am disabled and rely on assistance with my finances, accessing my funds is crucial. Normally, I use PayPal, but I wanted to try Green Dot. I am hoping to resolve these issues promptly.

I purchased a GreenDot card at Walgreens on Charleston in Las Vegas, Nevada, and loaded $[redacted] from my stimulus check onto it. However, I've been unable to make any transactions with the card despite activating it and providing all necessary information. The money is essentially stuck, and I am frustrated with the card's complexity. It is challenging to use, requiring excessive steps, and lacks customer support to address issues. I want a refund for my funds as I find this card too difficult to use, especially with no available customer service for assistance. It's disappointing that there was no mention of the lack of customer support when I bought the card.

I purchased a GreenDot card from Walgreens on Charleston in Las Vegas, Nevada. To summarize, I loaded $[redacted] onto the card but have been unable to make any transactions. I was unaware that there are specific types of Green Dot cards required for transactions, as I thought it was a loadable and reloadable card for transactions. I am frustrated that I can only do person-to-person transactions. The lack of clarity for customers is concerning, especially when there is no customer service support available. I want to be able to access my money, make transactions, and ultimately get rid of this problematic Green Dot card. It is essential to have clear communication for customers and provide adequate customer service for problem-solving.

This is my eighth time lodging a complaint against Green Dot regarding their reloadable prepaid cards. I feel it's important to share my experience online. I have been struggling to reach anyone for assistance. I simply want to withdraw the money on my card, close my Green Dot account, and have ATM access to get my funds back. I request a callback at [redacted]-[redacted]. My name is Mark N., and my card number is +[redacted]-[redacted] [redacted] Valley [redacted]. I find their services difficult to use for various reasons. I've been trying for three days to resolve this with no success. I am frustrated by the lack of customer service and support. I hope to resolve this promptly and retrieve my funds without the need for them to be sent via mail.

I am posting this message to express my frustration with the lack of customer service from Green Dot. It is disappointing that there is no way to speak to a real person for assistance. I believe that a company accepting our money should also provide proper customer support. I am having trouble accessing my funds on the card and would like to withdraw them from an ATM immediately. My name is Mark N. and I can be reached at [redacted]. Please address this issue promptly, as I have been trying to resolve it without success. Thank you.

I purchased a prepaid card at the store because I couldn't load money onto it for some reason. After trying at two different stores, I finally put $25 on it. When I got home and spent $10.73, I discovered that Green Dot deducted around $7 for fees. This is frustrating because the card ended up costing me almost $10, and I couldn't use it for its intended purpose. I need the additional funds back on the card as soon as possible. I've spent over 45 minutes trying to find a way to contact customer support. I regret getting involved with Green Dot and hope they can resolve this issue promptly. I only have around $6 left on the card, and I want them to rectify this situation. I've wasted over two hours on this matter and still can't accomplish what I needed to do with the card. It's very disappointing.

My name is John S. L., and my cell phone number is [redacted]. I recently received two green dot Visa credit cards instead of gift cards, causing confusion during the registration process. Your customer service team helped resolve this issue. However, I have received text notifications about a new green dot credit card being sent to my address. Due to my limited internet skills, I may have unintentionally ordered this card while handling the previous ones. If a card is on its way to 62 Shore Drive, Clinton, MS [redacted], I would like to know how to cancel it. Please respond to my email. Thank you.

My aunt bought a Green Dot prepaid card as a gift for my child, putting it in my name since my daughter is too young. I hadn't activated the card yet, planning to use it for my daughter. Unaware of the monthly fees, I found the card in the negative when trying to activate it for my daughter's shoes. Despite never using the card, all the money is gone due to fees. I want the original amount refunded. Please contact me at your earliest. You can email me at [redacted] or [redacted], or call me at ([redacted]) or ([redacted]). Thank you, Tiffany B.
