I received a letter via mail stating that I was going to be credited for the disputed amount on my unclaimed card, but it has been two to three weeks, and I have not received anything. I keep receiving evasive responses, with people hanging up on me and claiming they have no other contact information. I am frustrated and just want what is rightfully mine.

I recently spoke with someone regarding my blocked card that I have found. It is very inconvenient that my card cannot be unblocked now, especially since I know it can be done on your end with the help of a supervisor and additional security questions. I work at a credit union and am aware of this process. I have been waiting for my new card to arrive in the mail for days now without a tracking number, only an estimated date of arrival. I have purchased a temporary card and need to know if there is any way possible to transfer funds from my original card to this temporary one so I can access my money. I have bills to pay, and they will be late if my new card does not arrive soon. If there is a supervisor available whom I can speak with, I would greatly appreciate it. About a week ago, I initiated a dispute for a $39 transaction on my lost card. Upon checking my online account, I noticed an unauthorized online transaction. Despite not receiving any updates on the claim, I had to cancel my lost card. Surprisingly, you automatically sent me a new card and charged me $5 for it. If I had known about the charge, I would have declined the new card since I have two unused GreenDot cards. Additionally, I question why the dispute is ongoing if the lost card was already cancelled. According to the terms and agreements, the funds should have been refunded promptly. Frustrated by the situation as it involves my finances, I intend to activate one of the unused cards to receive the refund.

I recently set up my GreenDot account online but mistakenly entered my email address backward. Instead of [redacted], I inputted [redacted] Consequently, I am unable to receive the verification code on my phone because the number is temporarily turned off due to an unpaid bill. I have all the necessary account information, including my social security number, date of birth, name, address, account number, and routing number. I possess the personalized card sent to me and urgently need to activate it to access my funds for paying bills and restoring my phone service. On April 27th, I visited a 7-Eleven where the staff member accidentally demagnetized my Green Dot card. This has left me unable to load money onto it. I am hesitant to purchase a new Green Dot card as I believe I shouldn't have to. The customer service phone number I called rang continuously and then disconnected, which has been very frustrating. I am requesting immediate assistance either to fix my current card or to have a replacement Green Dot card sent to me quickly at no cost.

Despite my efforts to contact Green Dot Banking via multiple phone numbers, I have been unable to reach a representative and have experienced disconnections. I am seeking guidance on how to be connected with a representative as the current automated phone system does not provide an option to speak with a live person. I purchased a TV from an individual in Tulsa who requested me to load money onto a card for delivery. When they couldn't access the funds, I drove to Tulsa with cash to collect the TV. Later, I tried to recover the money from the card through Green Dot. Despite instructing them that only I should access the funds, they claimed someone else had withdrawn the money and sent a check. I discovered it was the seller who received the money, which was meant for my rent. Despite providing evidence, Green Dot sided with the seller, leaving me out $[redacted]. Their lack of assistance or effort to rectify the situation led me to feel betrayed. It's frustrating that even after lodging a complaint, no resolution was offered, and I was advised to involve law enforcement. The situation is absurd as they had proof of the unauthorized transaction. The unfair treatment and loss have left me extremely disappointed in their service, and I believe they should not only reimburse me but compensate for the troubles and financial strain caused by this incident.

I noticed two authorizations on my card from JoAnn Fabrics dating back to 4/29, one for $[redacted].36 and another for $40.03, for online orders across five different stores. JoAnn has informed me they can only release the funds by sending a fax or email to Greendot granting permission. On top of these authorizations, JoAnn also charged my card when I picked up items at each store, essentially resulting in double charges to my account. I require a fax number or dedicated email address at Greendot for JoAnn to send the necessary information. Furthermore, I am curious about the details Greendot has on file regarding this authorization, such as how long JoAnn requested the funds to be held. This situation is a first for me, as previous orders only involved one store per transaction, with authorizations typically being released the next day.

A representative promised to expedite my card, but it wasn't done. Subsequently, the same representative reported my card lost/stolen without my consent to send a new card via FedEx. My stimulus payment is on this account. It appears Green Dot employees act independently with no regard for customers entrusting them with their funds. I feel compelled to reach out to the FTC and Federal Reserve to file a complaint. The stimulus money was meant to aid those impacted by COVID-19, like me who are currently unemployed. Due to Green Dot's actions, my children and I have nowhere to stay. I wanted to rent a place for us, but Green Dot's errors prevent me. I've been waiting for this card since August [redacted]. Each time I inquire, there's always an issue. I'm exhausted from the ongoing struggle. I urge for assistance in accessing my funds, so my kids and I can secure a home. Hello, my name is Tierra. I transferred $30.69 to my Green Dot bank card, but now I only have $23. I am unable to withdraw any funds. Someone needs to contact me immediately. This is not the first time money has been taken from my account without explanation. The transaction history only shows what was added, not what was deducted. I had initially believed that I had lost my card, and proceeded to file a claim. However, I later found my card. I then registered another card, and my girlfriend sent me $[redacted]. Unfortunately, the money has not appeared on my card. Upon trying to contact the provided number, I encountered a security lock message advising me to visit the website to resolve the issue. Despite multiple attempts since 6 a.m this morning, I have been unable to access my account or retrieve the funds. Furthermore, my girlfriend has since sent an additional $[redacted], but I am still unable to access my funds.

My friend Steve G. attempted to send me $[redacted] to my email, thinking I had my personalized card, but I only have a temporary one that cannot receive funds. I urgently need the funds for rent that is overdue. On Steve's end, using his Greendot account, it shows the money was sent but is neither pending nor completed. I tried to transfer the money to his Green Dot card, but it can't be loaded as it's not personalized. The funds will be automatically returned to Steve if not claimed by May 30th. Waiting until then is not an option due to our rent deadline. If the $[redacted] can be refunded to the sender, Steve Gann, we can withdraw the cash from an ATM or transfer it to my bank account or cash app. This situation is very challenging as I am currently unemployed due to the pandemic.

I purchased a $[redacted] Visa prepaid card at a dollar store, thinking it could be used online, but my daughter's transactions keep getting declined. I haven't received my stimulus checks even though the IRS says they've been deposited and might be pending in my Green Dot account.
