To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to address several transactions that I need to dispute. When I clicked on the "Dispute Transaction" link, it led me to a blank page. I spent two hours on hold waiting to speak with someone, only to have my call disconnected. I am disputing nearly $[redacted] worth of transactions, including a $[redacted] charge from Hertz rental car, a $39 charge from a credit score company, and a $41 transaction with Cash App that has not been refunded to my card. I have contacted the companies involved, but it has been over a week and I still have not received my refunds. As a nurse amidst the current global crisis, my time is precious, and I cannot afford to wait on hold for hours. I used to be a satisfied customer of Green Dot Bank, but this experience has left me frustrated. Please contact me as soon as possible at [redacted]. I did not anticipate this outcome when I made the dispute, and it has caused significant inconvenience. I recently purchased a GreenDot temporary debit card. The package stated it had unlimited use, but when I tried to make an online purchase on a non-U.S. website, it was declined. I understand there may be limitations on temporary cards, but the instructions mention that with further identity verification, temporary cards can be used like personalized ones. I have had no issues with your cards before. Would it be safe to provide my card number and driver's license for this? I can't wait for a new card as it may take 7 to 11 days. I am willing to provide any necessary information. Thank you.

I received a Green Dot prepaid card and was required to register with my Social Security number. I am unable to access my funds, and they deducted $7.95 as a fee. I spent 2 1/2 hours on hold this morning, but my phone battery died. When I attempted to cancel online, I was directed to a tech support page that charges $14.95 for assistance. This was a $25 gift card, and I am concerned about the security of my Social Security number. I do not want to accept losing the $25 because they will keep deducting $7.95 monthly until the balance is zero. If there is an overdraft, they will report it to the credit bureau. I have emailed them about canceling the card and retrieving my funds, but I have not received a response.

I recently contacted customer service to inquire about an early Direct Express payment. After discovering my card had a security lock, I requested a replacement which I'm still awaiting. Despite trying to resolve the issue online, I've been unable to do so. When contacting customer service, I faced multiple disconnections and have been unable to speak to anyone at Green Dot Card Services. I rely on this payment for disability funds I receive each month, deposited by the 3rd. Unfortunately, due to these complications, I currently can't access my funds. I've attempted to update my contact information and even provided identification documents, but the problem persists with the system showing multiple accounts when I only have one. I desperately need assistance to ensure I can access my funds when they are deposited.

I have a reauthorization hold on my account from 3/18/20 for a cancelled purchase. The merchant assured me they did not charge me $[redacted].20, but the hold is still pending as of 3/27/20. Despite contacting my bank, I have not been able to access my funds. I was on hold for over 6 hours yesterday, only to be told there is nothing they can do until the 31st. The store confirmed they did not debit the charge, and I also made an in-store purchase on 3/21/20. I am frustrated with this situation.

I reached out to you on the 17th regarding a company that repeatedly charged my account without authorization. I requested a refund and asked not to have my card canceled due to scheduled payments and an upcoming paycheck. However, my card was blocked, resulting in two missed bills, which will soon be three if the DMV's scheduled payment on April 10th fails. I am unable to view transactions online beyond March 4th, and the vault feature on the app is inaccessible despite using it to secure my funds. I acknowledge my errors made on the phone; nevertheless, I simply sought assistance, not further complications. I urgently need my card reinstated to access my paycheck and conduct transactions. Falling behind on bills would jeopardize my utilities and livelihood, as I rely on my paycheck for basic needs. I have devoted significant time daily to resolve this matter via phone but remain uncompensated due to the card blockage.

I have encountered an issue with my Green Dot account. While the mobile app displays my balance as $[redacted].00, my card transactions are being declined, and when I called customer service, I was informed my balance is actually 0. After investigating, Green Dot informed me in a letter that they would credit back the missing $[redacted].00 that disappeared the day I opened my account. Despite the app showing $[redacted].00, my balance is 0 whenever I check it, and no transactions are showing up. I am unable to reach anyone for assistance despite sending multiple emails daily. This situation is incredibly frustrating and unacceptable.

On March 16th, I bought a Green Dot Visa Debit card with $[redacted].00 at CVS. After trying to register the card, I was informed about receiving a permanent card in a week. However, when the permanent card arrived, it had no funds. I have been attempting to reach out for assistance without success. Waiting on the phone for nearly 3 hours without any response was frustrating. I demand a refund and want to discontinue any further dealings with this bank. The lack of customer service during these challenging times is unacceptable. I even emailed last week but have not received a reply. The temporary card's account number is [redacted] and the permanent card's account number is [redacted]. It's disappointing to experience such issues with a bank that promotes itself as different.

I made reservations through Priceline at Quality Inn in Jasper, AL on March 28th & 29th, [redacted]. When I arrived at the hotel, they could not accept the new Green Dot card I purchased from a store. The hotel then advised me to contact Priceline for a refund. After speaking with Priceline, they assured me I would receive a full refund from the hotel. Although they mentioned it might take up to ten business days, they emailed me a cancellation confirmation with instructions to contact Green Dot for a faster resolution. Unfortunately, I have not received my refund or been able to speak with a live agent at Green Dot despite calling twice and waiting over an hour each time. Could someone please assist me with this matter?

I need assistance with redeeming a Moneypak code that was sent by my mother for my Green Dot card [redacted] and the Moneypak code is [redacted]. I made multiple unsuccessful attempts to redeem it and now I am locked out due to exceeding the number of allowed tries. I am worried about losing this money, which I urgently need for essentials. Could you please advise if the redemption attempts will reset tomorrow for this card code? I was unaware of the limited redemption tries and now I fear losing the funds. Also, are the wait times extended because of the current situation with Corona? Clarifying these would greatly help me understand my options going forward.

I want to share my recent experience of being scammed out of $[redacted] with a Green Dot temporary card purchased at CVS on March 16th. Upon trying to register the card online, I was informed that a permanent card would be sent within 10 days. Once I received and registered the permanent card, the balance showed $0. I reported the issue to CVS, who provided me with a transaction record. After contacting Green Dot customer service via email and receiving no response, I raised the matter on Facebook and contacted the Better Business Bureau. Despite my efforts, Green Dot has not reached out to me in the past two weeks. I have tried calling multiple times with no success, facing long wait times. I just want my $[redacted] reimbursed and vow to avoid dealing with Green Dot going forward.

I recently registered my Green Dot card, and after successfully loading money onto it, I encountered an issue where the system kept prompting me to re-register the card, preventing me from accessing my funds. Despite contacting customer service and waiting over an hour, the operator was unable to assist effectively, claiming that I needed to visit Walmart's website for instructions. Even after providing screenshots showing my card was registered, the operator was unable to resolve the issue. I am disappointed by the lack of technical support for Green Dot. About 3 weeks ago, I had an issue with an ATM not dispensing the money properly. After contacting the bank, I was advised to file a dispute with Green Dot. A Green Dot customer service representative helped me with the dispute over the phone, providing a confirmation number. However, following up online, I encountered difficulties reaching a live person to check on the status of my refund. I purchased a Green Dot card and initially loaded $[redacted] onto it, then added another $[redacted] later the same day at a Smith's grocery store. Currently, $[redacted] is in the card vault and inaccessible in the available balance, making it impossible to pay rent or other expenses. The additional $[redacted] does not reflect in the account despite proof of the transaction from Smith's. My whole paycheck seems to be stuck in an unresolved situation, and attempts to contact Green Dot have been unsuccessful as I cannot reach a representative over the phone despite numerous attempts.

I bought a Green Dot Load & Go card on 04/02/[redacted] and loaded $[redacted] onto it. I got the card to shop online internationally with an additional fee, but despite the card authorizing international purchases, my transaction was declined. The card is set up on the website, funds are available, but the purchase won't go through. The phone number on the back of the card, [redacted], only gives balance information. Trying to contact Green Dot support at [redacted] disconnects when I enter the card number, advising to call the number on the card instead. I simply want to make a single purchase. I've invested a lot of money to use this card, expecting it to work for this purpose. It's frustrating not being able to get assistance from the company.
