My fiancé is currently incarcerated, and his Green Dot card went missing. I'm not sure when it happened. I had loaded money onto the card for him, but he has not been able to use it since being in prison. Recently, a letter arrived from Green Dot about an unclaimed check for him. He took steps at the prison to make me his power of attorney, got the necessary paperwork notarized, and sent his prison ID to me. I then made copies of all the documents, including my driver's license, and sent them to the address on the letter. The check arrived at my address yesterday. I have tried various places to cash it, but no one will accept it. Even my bank said they cannot deposit it as his name is not on my account. I need guidance on how to cash the check or what steps I should take next.

I have been attempting to contact Green Dot's MoneyPak service for the past two days but have not been able to reach a live person. I received a fraudulent call demanding payment via MoneyPak to prevent my power from being disconnected. I purchased a MoneyPak card from CVS, but the scammer did not receive the funds because the scratch-off number was defective. I need assistance with initiating a refund due to the illegible scratch-off numbers preventing me from submitting a claim online. I am requesting a telephone number to speak with a representative to address this issue and file a claim. I have proof of purchase from CVS and other relevant details. I was supposed to activate two phone lines with Wing Wireless. They asked for payment information. Before activation, when they tried to activate, they told me my phones were blocked by my former carrier. I called them and was informed that our lines were not blocked. They did not provide service, so I asked for a refund. They said they could only refund on blocked lines. They owe me $[redacted].55. We are seniors and have no money to give away to scammers. I contacted Green Dot on Friday, October 25, [redacted], and explained what happened. The representative said it was pending and would cancel my card to stop the process, but it didn't work as they still got their money. I am very unhappy. I am having trouble registering my card without an account. When trying to create an ID, the website keeps redirecting me to the registration page, making it impossible to proceed. This has left me stranded without access to my funds, forcing me to sleep in my car during a hotel stay intended for safety. I have been attempting to reach customer service for four days to no avail, being consistently directed back to the registration number by foreign agents instead of receiving assistance. If I do not receive a response today, I will involve my lawyer to retrieve my own money. The lack of live support has been extremely frustrating, and I am considering escalating this issue to the CCO due to the poor service experienced. My deposit has been set up for months, but I am not receiving my early deposits as expected. Previous companies, as shown in my records, had no issues with my early deposit setup. It is concerning that I am now facing difficulties in receiving my payment early. The purpose of this card or bank card is to facilitate early payments, correct? I applied for this card with the understanding that I would receive early payments, as advertised. I am seeking resolution to this matter promptly, or I will be forced to seek another card provider. Thank you. After interacting with your agents, it is apparent that they lack experience and certification to effectively address and resolve customer issues. The service provided was subpar and unprofessional.

I lost my card a few weeks ago and can't find the account number I opened with. Due to this, I missed my house payment and am now without gas for heat during freezing weather. I've been unsuccessful getting help over the phone, and food is running low for my family. I have a picture of my driver's license and have applied for a new one, though it hasn't arrived yet. I made a reservation through Booking.com for a room at Rita's Suites in Las Vegas using my prepaid Green Dot Visa card. When I arrived to check in, they refused to give me the room and the transaction went into pending status. They claimed it wasn't charged, but it was. I contacted Green Dot to stop the transaction, but they mentioned it needed to be charged for assistance. Now, the hotel refuses to refund the money, stating I canceled which I didn't since I showed up, and they denied me the room while keeping my money.

I purchased 2 cards at the Walmart in Hernando, MS, depositing $[redacted] on each card, totaling $[redacted]. The next day, I attempted to activate both cards. I could only successfully activate one card. I tried to activate the second card through various methods, including the Walmart Money Card website, the automated phone service listed on the back of the card, and the Green Dot Bank website, but was unsuccessful. Walmart does not offer refunds for money cards and referred me to your bank for assistance. I have been unable to reach a live person through the automated system as the 16-digit card number is not recognized. I attempted to register my card using the registration link provided but received an error message stating, "we cannot validate card please try later" displayed in a red box. Despite correctly filling out the information required, I was prompted to "use at least 3 characters or more for address." The provided helpline, which directs me to a robot, is unhelpful, and the alternate phone number listed for speaking to a live person seems to lead to the same automated system. I misplaced my Walart debit card and had to provide proof of a changed address. Unsure if it was accepted or not and when I will receive the new card. I am seeking assistance regarding a Walmart gift card issue. In March [redacted], we received a $60.00 Walmart gift card with an expiration date of August [redacted]. Recently, we attempted to use the card at the Walmart in Waterford, CT, only to have it declined. After contacting Walmart Corporate and subsequently Green Dot Bank, we were informed that the card was closed due to inactivity. Despite its validity until [redacted], they stated there was nothing they could do. I am perplexed by how a gift card with remaining funds could be closed out unjustly. I received a direct deposit of $[redacted].60 on my Green Dot card. However, I reported the card as lost or stolen. Subsequently, Green Dot sent me a replacement card, but I have been unable to access my funds for over a month. Green Dot informed me that my money is in a vault! I am having a problem with Walmart Money Card, owned by Green Dot. They are not cancelling a pending transaction that I did not authorize. The merchant confirmed they only received one payment which has cleared on my account. They have nothing else to release. Green Dot says I have to wait two weeks to get my money back even though the mistake was on their end. I really need this money back to help my family out.

I noticed an unauthorized purchase on my card when I checked my balance. After contacting customer service to file a claim, I never received any updates. I recently called and was told my claim was rejected. The customer service representative could not provide a clear explanation and refused to transfer me to a supervisor. Despite saying she would attempt to reach a supervisor a second time, she placed me on hold for a survey and did not return to the call. I am unsure if she even tried to contact a supervisor. How can I reclaim my funds if I am being asked for paperwork when I have no evidence of the unauthorized transaction?

I have spoken with two of your chat representatives regarding my card issue. I registered the card for a one-time use and did not want it for re-use. I requested to have it cleared for a single use or to receive a refund. One chat agent mentioned that a supervisor would contact me the following day, but it's been 2 days without any response.
