I needed to pay a state toll violation and the only way to pay was online with a credit card or prepaid debit card. Well my other half picked up this green dot cash back direct deposit card (wrong card). Well the money was spent and I just needed to pay this one time*one fee toll headache. I then found out I had to open an account, download an app, tell my life story and wait for a card with my name on it to be mailed to me in order to use it.*Once I did, I immediately wanted to cancel the card, the account and delete and remove everything Green Dot. There are no such options to do this online or in app. Well I put it off for later, well now I see in stead of closing the account because of being inactive with a $*.** balance, they've done went negative on me with the monthly fee. This is so wrong. How can I close this account?
