I recently received a card from a local CVS with the promise of a personalized card within 7-10 business days. However, despite not receiving it, I was informed it was sent back. After being charged a replacement fee, I've been waiting for my replacement card since February 15th. Unfortunately, I am unable to log in to my account due to login issues and can't get through to customer service as the system hangs up on me. Feeling frustrated and questioning the situation, I suspect my tax refund may have been directed to the missing personalized card. I've been waiting for a resolution since February 6th and am losing patience with the process. I wish to transfer my funds from this account and am deeply disappointed with the service experience, making me hesitant to use Green Dot cards in the future.

On 2/21 at 9:16 AM EST, I spoke with customer service representative Sheryl regarding the closure of account linked to card 4[redacted] 5[redacted]. The card was a gift and I did not intend to have an account or a debit card. I was promised that the account would be closed once the balance reached zero, with only the registration fee deducted. Despite being told there would be no personalized card, one appears to have been issued. After waiting on hold for 30 minutes today, I was unable to reach a representative. This situation is frustrating, and I want it resolved promptly. My experience with customer service has been highly disappointing, and I wish to disassociate myself from this matter immediately.

I am seeking assistance in reporting a fraudulent account that targeted our company and was opened through your bank. We received a voided check with a direct deposit request, which led to funds being sent to Green Dot on Feb **. When we attempted to reverse the transaction, we were informed the account was already closed. Our legal team has advised us to reach out to you for details on the account and to complete an indemnity statement to aid in fund recovery. I would like to speak with someone regarding an urgent issue I am facing while trying to resolve a problem. Unfortunately, I have been disconnected by a supervisor during a previous call. I need assistance regarding my income tax, as both the IRS and my tax preparer have informed me that the issue lies with your company. Despite trying to reach out for help multiple times, I have had no luck resolving the situation. I canceled my VIP service due to the lack of support provided. It seems like the customer service representatives I have spoken to all give the same repetitive responses, as if they are reading from a script. I have attempted to reach your support line numerous times in the past day without success. I am unable to speak with a live agent as the call disconnects each time. I forgot my pin and need to change it to access my funds. However, the website redirects me to the app, but there is no option to change my pin there. This simple issue is becoming frustrating as my access to funds is limited. I hope to receive a prompt solution from your customer service team.

I purchased a Green Dot card but never received my personalized card in the mail. After speaking with a representative, I was informed that my card was returned due to an incorrect mailing address. Despite providing my PO Box [redacted] address in Shugalock, MS, they stated that Green Dot does not deliver to PO boxes. I then provided [redacted] Dunn Rd. as an alternative, but it was deemed invalid. I have attempted to contact customer service multiple times, only to be directed to their website. I loaded $20 onto the card to start using it, but Green Dot has deducted all but $7.10. I intended to use this card for bill payments and direct deposits, but the lack of access is problematic. I made a payment of $79 to my PayPal account at a local Rite Aid, but the payment never appeared in my account. Despite reaching out to PayPal, the issue is unresolved. PayPal requested Rite Aid contact them, which occurred today, but I was then asked to contact PayPal again. After emailing my receipt twice, PayPal closed the ticket stating they didn't have a copy of it, even though I spoke to a representative who confirmed they had it. I've been asked to resend the receipt for a third time to open another ticket. I'm considering reaching out to Green Dot to help with the issue. I will work on sending the receipt again to PayPal. I'm having trouble accessing my Turbo Tax Card account for my IRS return as I forgot my password. I have tried reaching out for assistance but haven't been able to speak with a representative after calling both phone lines. I spoke with someone yesterday who said they could help, but they insisted I complete a step to receive something free. I just need help with my PIN to access my tax refund. If I don't complete this extra step, I was told I won't get my PIN to access my funds. I'm frustrated as I urgently need this money for rent and food. Hello, I would like to address some concerns I have regarding my Intuit Turbo Green Dot card. Firstly, there was no mention of any limits when I received or applied for the card through TurboTax. Secondly, it is concerning that one cannot withdraw enough money to cover essential expenses like rent. I urgently need the block lifted as it is jeopardizing my living situation and employment, as I rely on accessing my funds for transportation to work. Additionally, I am frustrated by the inability to speak to a representative directly about this issue, despite being informed that I could withdraw larger amounts from ATMs or banks. I recently purchased one of your cards, which is not the first account I have had with you. I was using my temporary card for making deposits, etc., paying bills, and awaiting my tax refund. In previous years, I have had refunds deposited to my card, which is why I trusted Green Dot with my IRS refund for [redacted]. However, when the refund loaded, you blocked my account and requested proof of my identity. I was prompted to upload a picture of my ID, but mine was stolen, and now I need to obtain my birth certificate, social security card, and a new picture ID. I do have an online picture of my State ID from Ohio, and I hope this will suffice. I have many things to take care of, including rent, purchasing a car, and helping my mom with money. Please assist me with this issue as I am not a new customer.

I have been trying to reach a representative for three days now, but the call gets transferred and then disconnected repeatedly. Recently, my daughter broke her foot, and I received my income tax return. I urgently need to buy a vehicle for family transportation. However, I'm struggling with accessing my money earned from other companies. Despite numerous attempts to contact customer service, I am unable to get through. This situation is challenging as a single mother who relies on transportation for work. I have worked hard all year and do not appreciate the restrictions imposed on my money. I want to transfer my funds from GreenDot to my bank for better access.

I am having trouble accessing my account due to some unresolved issues with GreenDot. I had reported a charge dispute and received a new card after the compromised one was cancelled. Despite this, my account remains locked. I had a direct deposit from my native corporation on Feb 22nd, but I couldn't withdraw the funds due to a hold on my account. After multiple phone calls to GreenDot, I was initially informed that the issue would be resolved and the hold lifted. However, I was later told that my account had been closed. I requested my money to be returned to the sender, Chugach Alaska Corporation, but the customer service representative was unhelpful and requested documents I don't possess, as I live with friends and don't have bills or a credit card. I offered to provide a piece of mail with my name on it and my ID, but they claimed they couldn't assist me. I am frustrated with GreenDot's service and just want my money returned to the sender before closing my account.

I am encountering difficulties accessing my TurboTax Visa Card through Green Dot Bank. I cannot understand why I am unable to receive assistance when contacting Green Dot by phone. This should be a straightforward task for the bank to handle. Despite my repeated calls in an attempt to resolve this issue, I have not received any assistance from Green Dot Bank. I am a Chime Bank member trying to deposit $[redacted] cash into my account since I don't have direct deposit set up yet. Chime Bank representatives suggested I could do this at any GreenDot location. However, the GreenDot locations in my area, such as Speedway, Food Lion, CVS, and Walgreens, are advising me to purchase a GreenDot card instead. My zip code is [redacted]. I bought a MoneyPak card to reload my GreenDot Cash Back Visa debit card, but it's not compatible, which seems wrong. I tried adding it to different cards, which locked my card. I've requested a refund, but it will take a week or two. I urgently need the $[redacted] transferred from the MoneyPak card to my GreenDot card to make a payment today. If I don't pay today, it will impact several people. I'm frustrated with GreenDot and have called customer service multiple times. When I press 5 to speak with a person, it connects me, mentions direct deposits, then says goodbye and hangs up. I used Turbotax to file my taxes in January. My tax refund was loaded onto a Turbotax prepaid Visa card from Green Dot bank. Despite having money on the card, it was declined when I tried to use it. Upon checking my online account, I discovered an unauthorized Moneypak deposit of . Concerned my account was compromised, I contacted the number on the back of the card. After speaking with a representative, a security lock was confirmed, and I was given a reference number with a promise for a callback within two days that never happened. Subsequent calls revealed no change in status, with an automated system requesting documents I never received requests for. Emails to Green Dot and Turbotax were unhelpful as they referred me back to each other. My account has remained locked for five days, affecting my ability to access funds for essential expenses and utilities. Immediate resolution is needed, or I will escalate this issue further.

I recently received a replacement card for the one I lost. However, I've encountered activation issues despite receiving multiple emails about the progress of my card shipment. I've had ongoing troubles with GoBank, and now I can't seem to activate the new card either. Alongside this, I'm concerned about the transactions on my GoBank account from the 24th onwards since I canceled the lost card. I'm still waiting for a refund of $[redacted]. Hello, my name is Kelsey Sturm. I have been frustrated with the customer service provided by ElectronaCool. While trying to reach a person, I experienced being hung up on twice without speaking to anyone. I could hear breathing on the other end, but no one responded. When I finally spoke to a supervisor about not receiving my card, she was unaware of the balance or my situation, leading to repetitive explanations. I did not request a new card, but one was sent automatically without my confirmation. I only wanted to locate my original card and inquire about its delivery status. However, ElectronaCool deactivated my existing card without my consent and sent a replacement unnecessarily.

I submitted my tax return on February 1st. The funds were sent to my Green Dot card on February 14th. Despite providing accurate information, I had to request a replacement card on February 18th since my original card didn't arrive. I was charged for the replacement due to an error in shipment on your part. Although I was informed via email on February 25th that the new card would arrive in one to two days, it is now March 1st, and I still haven't received it. This is the second consecutive year my card has been lost in the mail, happening a total of three times in two years. It is disappointing to have been charged for a replacement card that has yet to reach me. At this point, I would prefer transferring the funds to my bank account as I have little confidence in receiving the card through mail. I had to wait a week for a response from customer support, and only received assistance after finding an alternative solution for the replacement card.
