I have been assisting a friend with his invalid card issue, as he had just loaded $[redacted] onto it. I typically avoid using these types of cards due to potential problems like his. It is frustrating that a company that loads cash onto a card only offers limited phone numbers to contact. It took me three days to locate a number, which I found on gethuman.com. The lack of human interaction from a company is disappointing. It seems illogical for a corporation to not provide customer service via phone, especially with the volume of complaints. It appears that there are significant problems not just with this particular card but also when you search for Green Dot Cash Card reviews. I have a card issued by your bank through TurboTax Intuit and Visa for my federal tax return. I never received the original card, and after getting a new one, I found a block on it that requires me to upload a photo of my ID to greendot/documentupload. I have been trying to do this for three weeks, but your system does not accept my clear and visible photo. When I reach out to Visa and TurboTax, I get the runaround, and I can't seem to contact greendot directly. Now, I am asked to email my ID photos, but I was not provided with the email address to send them to. This situation needs to be resolved promptly.

On the 3rd of October, I contacted customer service to inquire about my card balance after receiving my disability income check. Subsequently, I attempted to withdraw money amounting to over $1,[redacted] but encountered four declines at the ATM. Upon speaking with a representative the same day, I was informed that my card had been deactivated without prior notice. I then paid an additional $15 to expedite the delivery of a new card, only to discover it was also blocked. Facing eviction due to my rent being due on the 4th, I urge prompt resolution as the situation is causing undue distress. It is imperative that your company addresses these issues promptly, as evident by the numerous complaints regarding similar experiences. As a disabled individual, I cannot risk losing my home over a lack of communication and mishandling of these matters. Kindly unblock my card without delay or provide immediate assistance to cover my rent. Your swift attention to this matter within the next two hours is greatly appreciated. I bought a card from Dollar Tree on 09/29/18 at store #[redacted]. Since then, I've been struggling to access the funds on the card. I tried to activate it over the phone, but was directed to do it online. However, the website keeps prompting me to call a number. Even after calling multiple times, I can't speak to a person for assistance. Dollar Tree claims they can't help, and I'm getting frustrated with the lack of support. I recently created a Walmart card services account online over a month ago and was provided with a temporary card number to use. However, I have not yet received the physical card in the mail after waiting for over 3 weeks. This delay is causing issues as my disability direct deposit is supposed to be loaded onto the card, but without the physical card, I am unable to access my funds. Despite contacting Walmart money card support, I have not been successful in getting a resolution. They mentioned providing a courtesy card, which has not materialized. It has been frustrating as it has been almost a month since I opened the account and I am unable to use my direct deposit funds. I urgently need access to my money, especially in an emergency situation. I am simply requesting to transfer my funds to my other Walmart Green Dot card under my name, but I have faced difficulties in achieving this. The customer service experience has been disappointing, and at this rate, I may not recommend their services in the future.

I encountered a problem with my funds being frozen after lodging a complaint online about a company's monthly billing. In August [redacted], I reported Ic freeshipping.com for billing my card without authorization. They initially resolved the issue and credited my account, but allowed a second unauthorized charge in late August. I reached out again on 9-27-18 but received no response. Surprisingly, on 10-5-18, my card was locked without notice. When I called for assistance, they declined to unlock it and stated I would get a replacement card in 7 to 10 business days. The customer service representative, Cheryl #[redacted], claimed to be a manager but could not provide further details. It's frustrating that my funds were held without warning, affecting my ability to pay bills. The lack of communication and transparency in handling my dispute is disappointing.

On November 3, [redacted], my card was cancelled because I unknowingly tried to add money beyond the limit as a new customer. I have been expecting a check to be sent to my house since then, but it has not arrived. Despite the cancellation, Greendot has been deducting the monthly fee from my funds since November 3, [redacted]. I have reached out multiple times but have not received any response from Greendot yet. I am eager to know when I can expect to receive the check.

I recently bought a Wal-Mart Money Card on October 6, [redacted]. However, when I tried to activate it on the website, the system kept showing me an "invalid card number" error. I tried multiple times without success. I sought help from Wal-Mart's MoneyCenter, but the issue persisted. I discovered that the expiration date on the packaging differs from the expiration date on the actual card. The card was sealed when I purchased it, and Wal-Mart verified this via video footage. I receive instant deposits every Saturday evening or early Sunday morning, but the funds are being held until Tuesday, causing inconvenience. The customer service representatives seem to be working from a call center outside the US and struggle to provide resolution effectively. It appears that on Sunday mornings, there might be a system update causing this delay, which has occurred repeatedly. The language barrier with the representatives makes it challenging to address these issues, leading to frustrations due to the lack of clear communication. It is evident that there are numerous complaints online about similar experiences. The representatives seem to be providing inaccurate information by blaming Uber for the deposit issues, which has been reported to Uber as well. Considering the situation, I have suggested to Uber to reconsider their partnership with Green Dot Corporation for the debit cards. I plan to escalate these concerns with the BBB and the FTC with documented evidence of the account transactions. I am hoping for prompt assistance from someone in the corporate office to release the funds promptly, especially since instant deposits should reflect immediately based on the usual timing of deposits.

I have a black Green Dot prepaid Visa debit card labeled as V.I.P that has been blocked since August [redacted]. To unblock it, I am required to visit greendot.com/upload, enter my card number, select either my driver's license or state ID, and then take pictures of both sides of my license to upload. Despite trying on four different cell phones, two computers, and three laptops, I consistently receive a message to resend the documents. It's frustrating that I am encountering so many difficulties in unblocking my card as I urgently need access to my funds.

I discovered unauthorized charges on my card and was advised to get a new one. FedEx delivered the replacement, but it's still blocked. Despite sending legible documents since the 3rd, the block remains. The situation is causing immense stress as I can't use my card, jeopardizing my ability to pay rent and potentially face eviction. I submitted my bank statement on September 9th. On September 10th, I received an email stating that my account was blocked. After multiple unsuccessful attempts to resolve this issue over the past month, making numerous calls and leaving several voice messages with my contact information, I have yet to speak with a representative. Consequently, my credit has been negatively impacted due to the card closure. I am eager to have the negative report removed from my credit history and to receive a refund of the $[redacted] deposit I initially made for a card I seldom used before it was shut down. Despite trying to reach out through various phone numbers without success, I have been unable to get in touch with anyone to address this matter. There is no listed contact email, and every call I made resulted in being redirected to voicemail, leaving me feeling frustrated about losing money and the damage to my credit score.

About a year ago, I purchased a Green Dot card under my name but with my boyfriend's last name, so it read as Mari Soria instead of Mari Lopez. Unable to activate the card with the mismatched name, I requested a reimbursement and received an $80 check. However, I haven't been able to cash it due to the name issue. My truck was stolen on September 19th, and my debit card was in it. I've been trying to reach someone in your department but haven't had any luck. I was informed that a transaction was made on September 21st for $1.00 at Mendota Food Mart at 5:45 a.m. I need a receipt for this transaction so the police can review the camera footage. I tried to transfer money from PayPal to my account with my card but it was declined. After adding the routing number, both Green Dot and PayPal assured me the money would be available in a few minutes. However, now I've been informed it will take 3 days. This delay is frustrating as it affects my ability to pay bills, work, and keep my food from spoiling. I've been caught in the middle trying to cancel the transaction with no success. My main goal is to either expedite the process or send the funds back to PayPal so I can use another card. I understand there may be fees involved but I desperately need the funds to restore power. I bought a Green Dot Visa reloadable card on October 8th at Dollar General in Brandenburg, KY. I've been struggling to register it. When I call and input the 16-digit card number, it says it's invalid. Online, it claims my email is wrong, even though it isn't. The store manager couldn't register it either and provided a support number, but they couldn't assist. The live person said it's only for retail support and advised me to call the number on the back of the card, leading to the same issues. I have $[redacted] on the card that I urgently need access to. I have submitted all required documentation multiple times, including transaction details, ID copies, and more. My name discrepancy between my maiden and married name has caused issues, as I am known as Montgomery but my driver's license shows Greenwood due to an abusive marriage at a young age. Despite providing all necessary information, including my disability status, the hold persists. I have contacted the corporate and local office numerous times, but I was told my account is closed despite the hold remaining. I bought a GreenDot card for online shopping, but the temporary card is getting declined for international transactions. The box mention that it can be used for international purchases with a 3% transaction fee, but the temporary card is not allowing it. I read in the terms and conditions that after identity verification, temporary cards can be used like personalized cards. I contacted customer service, but the representative was not very clear, and I couldn't comprehend everything. I really need to make this transaction happen.
