Aug. ** deposited $***.** to my Walmart Visa debit card. About * hours later tried to get gas and swiped card and entered pin. Pump was broken but not marked so. Tried my card again. No luck. Station attendant told me to use different pump. Card declined. Attendant turned pump on and let me get gas and come inside to pay. Card declined again. Two pre-authorization debits had been taken from my card in amounts of $**.** and $**.**, leaving my balance at *. No transactions showed on register and pump had shown "sale cancelled". Money Card customer service said amounts would be credited back to my card in ** hours. Said the gas station bank had ** hours to notify them to release funds. That did not happen. Customer service said possibly take until Aug. ** but with no explanation of why. Today customer service said it would be credited back to my card on Aug. ** - adding another ** hours to the hold on the only money I have to my name. Customer service at the gas station says their bank has no hold on my funds. I needed a credit expedited back to my account for $***.**.
