Your social security number is required to activate your Green Dot credit card. If you never used a social security number then call 1-866-795-7605 to activate your Card. In the prompt you will hear what number to click to activate your new card. You will need to use the 3 digit code on the card to activate it.

Hello,*My name is Jesse Quesada and I purchased a Greendot Moneypak card from a Walgreens on Wednesday May **th, at *:** PM Central Time. When I peeled the silver label on the back of the card. The label had peeled off the ending numbers. I put $*** on to that card. With the ending numbers peeled off, no body can use the $*** that is on the card. What I would like to have done is either receive the last remaining numbers on the card or be issued a refund to put the $*** on to a new Moneypak card. PLEASE HELP ME RESOLVE THIS ISSUE. I don't have a card or an account. I'm buying the card and giving the numbers to someone who has an account.

How GetHuman-quesada_ fixed the problem
Sign up to become a member. When you become a member you'll be issued a ** digit card number. Call the Greendot customer service phone number and enter the ** digit number including the last * numbers of your social security number. Listen to the options and you'll be able to speak with a live person. The customer service representative will create a case number for you and give you the information on what to do. Following their instructions, you will have to take pictures of your receipts and pictures of the front and back of the Moneypak card. You will send those pictures to RR@greendot.com, and you will then get a email that your case will be investigated within * business day. After about * business day, you will then receive an email that your case was investigated and they decided to either give you a refund (not including the $*.** card fee), or a different response. If you receive a refund, it will take about ** business days to receive the refund in the mail.
