I got a green dot card ***************** CVS***, routing **********, Acct.************* who am Elderly & receives Disability changed my Direct Deposit to. When I tried to activate the card ending in **** I am was told that the combination was an invalid combination of numbers. At that time I reported that card lost or stolen & requested to close that account & reissue another card. I then decided to change my Direct Deposit to my NetSpend Account. I was told Monday before last that I would receive my payment in *-* days, it has been *. Today I spoke with Social Security and they inform me that Green Dot has not released my money, the account which I cannot access. Social Security advised me to take immediate action which I will do just after I finish this text. I am not only calling Adult Protective Services but I am filing a Lawsuit for Abuse of an Elderly & Disabled as well as Discrimination charges plus any and all charges I can file against Green Dot for not releasing my check and giving me false information. I have signed documents with Social Security to file any & all charges against you as well as Reporting this to the Internal Revenue Service and pursuing it to the fullest extent of Local, State & Federal Law. You cannot abuse an Elderly Disabled person, the Federal Trade Commission will be involved. But more to the point, you cannot withold a persons money, specially a Federal Issued Check. Again, you will be facing charges of Abuse & Exploration as well as Federal Charges for committing fraud with the Social Security Administration which is the Federal Government. I wish you would have done what you committed & said that you would do & I wish you had provided a working number in your website, this could have been so simple.
