Dear Customer Support, I was initially intrigued by Grammarly after seeing their commercials on TV. I have struggled with poor grammar and was hopeful the company could assist me. I believe that companies that advertise should have customer support that is responsive to help resolve issues quickly. However, my recent experience left me disheartened. When I faced two significant billing problems during these challenging times, I received an email with what seemed like an auto-generated response from a woman that did not address my concerns. This lack of personalized support has raised doubts about the integrity of a company like Grammarly. Given the current hardships many are facing, it is crucial for businesses to operate ethically and with compassion. As a fellow businessperson affected by the pandemic in the entertainment industry, I understand the importance of reliable and honest companies. I urge Grammarly to address these issues promptly and provide genuine assistance instead of automated replies. I hope they can demonstrate moral and fair practices to regain trust. I recently purchased a new subscription for Grammarly, but it created a new account instead of renewing the subscription on my original account, which had all my documents in it. I just made this purchase and would like to transfer the subscription from the automatically created account ([redacted]) to my original account ([redacted]) that already exists in your system. I realize the new account was created through Facebook, but I prefer to use the account created on Grammarly.com because it contains all my work. Once the subscription is moved, I would like to delete the Facebook-generated account. However, I am hesitant to do so without confirmation that my subscription has been successfully transferred to the correct account.

I am seeking a refund. I was billed for an annual plan instead of the monthly plan I intended to purchase. I am requesting a refund! While reviewing premium plans on my son's Grammarly account, I opted for a monthly plan as he only required it for a short period. I promptly canceled upon realizing the amount deducted, unable to use the service. I urgently seek clarification and assistance for a refund. I recently subscribed to the premium service on 9/13 and was under the impression it was a monthly charge of 11.99, not a one-time fee of [redacted].99. I have been waiting for a response from the company regarding an issue with my Grammarly subscription. I mistakenly signed up for an annual subscription instead of the one-month option I needed. I recently received a notice from PayPal stating they are sending $59.99 to Grammarly. I do not have an account with Grammarly and cancelled it many months ago. I am in a tough spot now as I am unable to pay for things like car insurance and phone bills. I am demanding a refund immediately. If I do not receive it promptly, I will share this experience online and with BBB. Transaction ID: 8A495723H[redacted]1 The transaction details show a payment to Grammarly.com for $59.95. I am requesting a refund of $[redacted].95 for the charge on my Paypal account dated September 17, [redacted]. I am unable to access my account number but the associated email address is [redacted] As I no longer work at ATA Aerospace, I cannot access the email. I have not used Grammarly in months and no longer require the service. I have unsuccessfully tried to cancel my subscription and verify if my cancellation request was received. Contacting Grammarly for assistance has been challenging as I was unable to speak to a representative. I have initiated a dispute with Paypal regarding the charge. I reached out to Grammarly support on 09/29, the same day I was charged for the Annual Subscription. I mistakenly purchased the plan resulting in a $[redacted] charge to my account. I explained the error, mentioning my financial difficulty in affording the bill and requested a refund. I also expressed willingness to opt for the $30 monthly plan if a full refund wasn't possible, as long as I could receive most of the amount paid from the Annual subscription (approximately $[redacted]).

I possess a Grammerly Premium subscription that recently encountered an issue with the add-ins, causing it to cease functioning. While attempting to fix the problem, I was led to a different Grammarly program that appeared to be more suitable for my needs as a fiction writer. My primary concern is that the current Grammarly setup tends to edit my creative writing in a formal manner. During my search to address the add-ins issue, I discovered a Grammarly version specifically tailored for story writing. This particular program offers editing features like clarity, delivery, engagement, correctness, goals, and an overall scan. Additionally, it had even altered a sentence within my manuscript. I am interested in acquiring this specialized writing program. Hello, I have been trying to reach you via email without success. I purchased the premium package but have been unable to install it on my computer. Despite my efforts, I have not succeeded in installing the package. When I contacted our IT department at the university today regarding this issue, I was informed that the University of the Free State already holds a premium license from Grammarly this year. Consequently, I am unable to install the purchased package and am advised to seek a refund. The IT administrator explained that my work email is already linked to the university's license obtained from Grammarly. Therefore, I am in a difficult situation with a product I cannot install as the university has a license that covers all staff. I recently renewed my Grammarly Premium account after a trial with another program. I initially thought I was signing up for a full year subscription but seems I only signed up for a 1/4 year term. Due to my limited income, the difference in cost is significant to me. I tried to modify my subscription to a yearly one, expecting to pay the remaining balance, but it appears I will be charged for a full year on the next billing cycle. My son signed up for an account with your service using his personal email instead of his school one. He was promised a free trial but was unexpectedly charged nearly $[redacted], which is a significant portion of his savings. We demand a full refund as he has no intention of using this account. I am having trouble connecting with your program. My name is Alfred Willard. About a year ago, I signed up for your service, which seemed expensive at the time. I suspect it might not be compatible with the Firefox browser I am using. I haven't had many chances to use it, but I found it useful when I did. At 81, using technology can be challenging due to memory issues. As software updates, it becomes harder for me. I am sorry, but simplicity is key for us seniors. Regular use makes it easier.
