I need to cancel my Grammarly subscription promptly. I did not authorize a renewal, but I noticed a charge of $59.95 on my Visa card ending in [redacted] with an expiration date of 03-22 on December 20, [redacted]. Is it possible to get a refund for this charge? Unfortunately, I have forgotten my password and am unable to access my account to cancel the subscription. Despite trying to reset my password multiple times, I have not received any instructions on how to do so.

I am writing to request a 50% discount on my Grammarly subscription that expired on 1/2/[redacted]. In December [redacted], there was a 50% discount offer that I missed due to infrequent email checking. Although there is currently a 40% discount promotion, I find it still too costly to rejoin. Considering my financial circumstances on disability, the 1-year upfront payment plan with a 50% discount is the most affordable option. Due to increasing out-of-pocket expenses for medical care, every saving counts. I faced challenges in my education due to personal struggles, such as depression stemming from past abuse. Despite work experiences in NYC that improved my writing skills, I still rely on Grammarly for essential communication aid. I understand if a higher discount is not feasible, I simply wish to convey my willingness to subscribe at a competitive rate. Thank you for your attention. Kindly update my primary email for better communication.

Hello, I find that communicating via email is inefficient as it takes too long to receive a response. Despite expressing the urgency of my issue, I have not heard back. The bank has confirmed that the cards I used for payment are valid, and the error message "Payment attempt was declined. Please check your payment info and try again" is due to an issue on your end, specifically related to your commerce site settings. I urgently need to resolve this matter regarding the licenses, so please provide assistance promptly. Thank you, Bronwyn

I have not used my account since spring of last year. I no longer have access to the email my subscription was linked to and I was charged for another year of Grammarly, which I no longer need, seeing as I am no longer in school. I have tried many times over the past few months to reach a "person" to rectify this situation to no avail. I have tried to dispute the renewal charge on my Discover card. I DO NOT want to continue my subscription and I have not used Grammarly since the renewal, therefore I am requesting a full refund of my subscription ASAP. I may be reached by phone at [redacted], my updated email is [redacted] Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. Dale S.

I have encountered issues with my account regarding overcharges. In December, my Visa was overcharged but then refunded. However, in January, I was overcharged again and was assured a refund within two weeks, which I have not yet received. On March 2nd, I was once more charged $[redacted].00. I have been seeking assistance for four days to address this matter as I am retired and cannot bear these extra expenses. I have pending bills that need to be settled, and despite reaching out multiple times, I have only received a single email from the support team with unanswered questions.

I bought Grammarly on 3/16/20 for $[redacted].95. Despite paying for Premium, I'm only able to access the free version. It has been 25 days since I paid without being able to upgrade. I would appreciate it if my subscription could be extended by 25 days or if I could receive a prorated credit. Writing is essential for me, but Grammarly isn't functioning across all my programs. I'm unsure how to make it work universally on my computer. Your assistance with this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Yesterday, while browsing subscriptions, I accidentally confirmed a payment on Grammarly, resulting in a $[redacted].00 charge to my account. I typically rely on the free version of Grammarly to assist me due to budget constraints. However, this unexpected charge has caused me significant financial distress as it was meant for my rent this month. Unfortunately, I can't replenish the funds in such a short period due to my biweekly pay schedule. I promptly canceled my subscription, only moments after realizing what had occurred. I am reaching out for assistance in getting a refund. I have attached images showing the deduction and the cancellation for your reference. I understand it was my mistake, but I kindly ask for your help in resolving this issue promptly.

I was charged for a subscription I believed was canceled. Grammarly informed me that my credit card could not be charged as it was not current. I thought my subscription had been canceled a year ago. I couldn't reach Grammarly by phone or find cancellation instructions. The credit card charged was not authorized for this transaction. I am unable to resolve this with my credit card company. I was charged $[redacted].00 CDN, which I would not have accepted if given the chance. The issue has been difficult to resolve due to COVID-19 and Grammarly's lack of timely communication.

Hello Grammarly, I tried reaching out using my company email at [redacted], and here's the issue I encountered: I made a mistake and need assistance rectifying it. It seems I mistakenly signed up for Grammarly with two different email addresses: [redacted] and [redacted] The automatic renewal payment failed due to insufficient credit. I manually upgraded and paid through Grammarly while logged into Gmail with my company email, which led to me paying for the subscription under the incorrect email address. Subsequently, the auto-renewal payment attempted again and successfully charged me, resulting in a double charge. Could you please cancel the account associated with [redacted] and process a refund? The exchange rate is unfavorable for Brazil's currency, and I'm already stretching my budget to subscribe to Grammarly. Handling two accounts, especially both for just myself, is not feasible. I've included two images showing Grammarly's double charge on my credit card.

I was recently charged by Grammarly for a one-year membership, even though I no longer need the service. I used it for my previous job, where the subscription was reimbursed by my employer. After leaving that position over two months ago, I realized I was still being charged. I reached out to Grammarly for a refund due to non-usage. How can I go about getting a full reimbursement for the charge made on April 24th, [redacted]?

I am experiencing issues with Grammarly. I initially used the email address [redacted] but forgot my password, leading me to create a new account. Later, my granddaughter used [redacted] to create another account. Upon returning to Grammarly, I accessed it without entering a password. Unfortunately, I am now locked out as I cannot recall the second password. Moreover, I noticed multiple unauthorized credit card charges. I have attempted to contact Grammarly using both email addresses but have not received a response. To communicate with me, please call me at either [redacted]7 (cell) or [redacted]1 (home). Thank you.

Dear Grammarly, As an ESL learner, I opted for your premium service to enhance my English skills. I've been using the premium features for the past 3 months, paying the standard $59.95 fee like other users. Initially, I planned for a 3-month subscription period and selected the quarterly premium option. Today, my subscription renewed automatically without any notification, resulting in another charge of $59.95, which has left me feeling disappointed. I only intended to use the service for 3 months, and I did not anticipate this automatic renewal. Given that I fall within the terms of your refund policy, which allows cancellation within 10 days of renewal for a refund, I kindly request a refund for the latest charge. Thank you for your understanding and prompt assistance. Best, AO

Dear Team, I want to express my gratitude for the tremendous help Grammarly has provided me during the Spring [redacted] semester. It has truly been a valuable tool. Regrettably, I must inform you that I need to cancel my account and request a refund for my membership. I will no longer require access to Grammarly after my impending college graduation. The documents I used Grammarly for, including final projects, speeches, and essays, are due soon for my graduation, which is coming up in less than three weeks. Therefore, I kindly request to discontinue my membership and refund the associated fees. Thank you for your assistance, and I appreciate the service you have provided me throughout this semester. Sincerely, Evan

I subscribed to Grammarly Premium using my Apple ID about two hours ago. After making the payment, it confirmed the purchase and I received an email confirmation from Apple. However, my Grammarly account still shows as the free plan and I cannot access the premium features. Can you assist me in resolving this issue?

My daughter, Melissa G. Lewis, and I co-write books together. Her account was registered under [redacted], which she canceled in early February. On Feb 18th, I started my own account as Melissa Goyak at [redacted] However, I discovered today that her canceled account was charged twice on my credit card from the San Francisco Police Credit Union. Kindly refund those payments as she no longer uses that account, and I have been using [redacted] for our book-related transactions. Please contact me at [redacted] to address this issue promptly. Thank you for your assistance. Sincerely, Melissa Goyak

I received an offer from Grammarly for a 50% discount on their Premium subscription, which was priced at $6.00 per month. I visited the Grammarly website through the link provided and selected this option. While I believed I would only be charged $6.00 per month, I was surprised to see $[redacted] deducted from my bank account by Grammarly. This amount does not align with the $72 total for a year as per our agreement. Feeling misled, I promptly canceled my subscription and am requesting a full refund for the incorrect charge of $[redacted]. I am disappointed by this error and urge a swift resolution to avoid further action.

Dear Grammarly Support Team, Recently, my computer was compromised in a hack, which led to the loss of all my data, including Grammarly. I have been using the free version of Grammarly for years and it has been an invaluable tool for me. However, after the cyber incident, I have not been able to restore the program to its previous state. Whenever I try to log in with a freshly downloaded version, it recognizes my existence in your system, but the setup does not revert to my previous settings. I kindly request your assistance in re-establishing my Grammarly account to how it was before the hack. Given my limited technical skills, I have had difficulty completing this on my own. I can be reached via email at [redacted] or by phone at [redacted]. If I am unavailable, please leave a callback number and name. I truly appreciate your understanding and prompt support in resolving this matter. Thank you sincerely for your help. Warm regards, G.K. Potter

Dear support team, I recently discovered that my Grammarly subscription wasn't canceled in May [redacted]. I assumed my account was inactive during this period as I hadn't used the service. Upon reviewing my credit card statement today, I noticed that two additional payments were made to Grammarly without receiving any prior notification or confirmation email regarding these transactions. I have canceled my subscription today and I hope it has been successfully terminated. I distinctly recall canceling it in May. Furthermore, I would like to request a refund for the two months during which I did not use the Grammarly application. Please process the refund to my credit card at your earliest convenience. Thank you, A. Nagorka

I unknowingly signed up for what I believed was a free account a month ago. Recently, I discovered a charge of $[redacted].95 on my credit card from June 28, [redacted]. I request an immediate stop on any future billing. I was unaware of being charged for a service I haven't used in years. When trying to cancel today, I found the process on your support page to be cumbersome, requiring registration or sign-in, which I refuse to do for an unused subscription. I have removed Grammarly from my devices. It seems your business model involves signing up users for free trials and then charging them. It is frustrating not being able to reach a person over the phone. I demand the cancellation of the subscription and an end to billing. A refund to my credit card is also requested. Here are the details provided by my credit card company regarding the transaction: Merchant Name: Grammarly, Address: [redacted] Market St San Francisco, CA [redacted], Contact: [redacted]. Transaction Date: Sun, Jun 28, [redacted], Posting Date: Mon, Jun 29, [redacted], Purchased By: T. Clay, Description on Statement: GRAMMARLY CO7FIFE0G [redacted] CA [redacted] USA.

I'm unable to log in to my Premium Grammarly account. Recently, my account reverted to a free version due to an issue with my payment method. After canceling the card linked to the account due to fraudulent activity, I failed to update the new card details. Despite repurchasing Grammarly, it seems I mistakenly used my personal email address ([redacted]) instead of my school email address ([redacted]). Unfortunately, this has caused me to lose access to my premium features. With an urgent paper due tonight, I am feeling quite desperate. Several emails to Chad and Natalie have yielded no response. I implore you to assist me promptly with resolving this matter. It can be frustrating when companies rely solely on email communication rather than offering phone support to their customers.
