I have noticed that Grammarly has not been as reliable in catching mistakes in my writing. Despite having a premium subscription, teachers and classmates still find errors that were not flagged by the app. I am particularly disappointed that Grammarly does not highlight lowercase letters at the beginning of sentences when I write in online chats or Google Docs. Additionally, I was not reminded about the upcoming renewal date for my membership.

I mistakenly purchased a 44-minute human proofreading service for $[redacted] with my credit card stored. After realizing my error, I reached out to Grammarly support through email and their website to cancel the order. Unfortunately, my request was not fulfilled, and my proofreading was completed without my consent. Despite my continuous emails asking for a refund, there has been no response from Grammarly. I urgently require a refund for this error on their part. I've clearly stated my intention to cancel the order, as evident from the replies acknowledging the order movement. Grammarly must process my refund promptly.

Subject: Request to Stop Unauthorized Billing I am writing to formally request the discontinuation of my service with your company. I have been charged for two years of service that I have not utilized in [redacted] and [redacted]. I would like a refund for these charges for both years. Unbeknownst to me, there have been recurring charges deducted from my Bank of America account. I am specifically asking for this account to be terminated immediately. I, Sallie M. Echols, had the account set up under the address 4 Ridge Road, SE WDC [redacted], and can be reached at [redacted] or via email at [redacted] There was no prior notification regarding the automatic billing of my account after I had requested the service to be discontinued. I urge you to address this issue promptly. Please contact me using the provided email or phone number. Best regards, Sallie M. Echols Former Customer

I recently realized that on 12/01, Grammarly charged me $[redacted] without the usual email notification. When I initially subscribed, I was on social security benefits. Unfortunately, a situation caused the suspension of my benefits until Feb. [redacted]. Is it possible for me to receive a 50% refund now, and I will settle the remaining balance in February? As a graduate student, Grammarly is essential for me, but the current price is a bit too high given my circumstances.

I'm Robert Lanier and I signed up for Grammarly for a one-month subscription in September [redacted]. I noticed charges for October, November, and now December. I managed to cancel my subscription successfully yesterday after struggling to find the cancel button buried at the bottom of the confirmation pop-up. I am requesting a refund for the charges from the last three months, if feasible.

I purchased the Annual Grammarly Premium thinking I would be charged $11.99 every month, but I was billed the full $[redacted].95 upfront. Once I noticed the charge on my bank statement, I promptly cancelled my subscription within 15 minutes of purchase. Am I eligible for a refund?

I would like to cancel my subscription to Grammarly for this year as I was recently charged $69.98, but I am unable to access my account or change my password. I request a full refund to my PayPal for the subscription. Could you confirm the cancellation and refund process? I find it inconvenient that there is no phone support available. The account may be registered under my name, N. Yehezkely, or possibly under my wife's, W. Yehezkely. My email is [redacted], and my wife's is [redacted] Kindly resolve this issue promptly by canceling the subscription, processing a refund of $69.95, and providing confirmation. Thank you, N. & W. Yehezkely.

I thought the upgrade to Grammarly's premium version would be $5 per month, but I was charged $70 in a single payment which I can't afford. I used the premium features until noticing the charge yesterday. I would appreciate a refund for the full amount. I will continue to use Grammarly for my school work but do not wish to keep the premium subscription right now. Thank you.

Hello, I sent an email last night and I am eagerly awaiting a response. I was under the impression that I would be charged $11.97 monthly, but my account was actually debited $[redacted].00. This unexpected withdrawal has left me feeling extremely anxious and stressed as it has significantly depleted my account balance. I would greatly appreciate it if a refund could be processed promptly. Additionally, I intend to terminate my subscription following this issue. Your urgent assistance in resolving this matter is highly valued. Thank you.

I paid for a 3-month subscription, and I canceled my account through your system weeks before the end date. However, I was charged again, and I am upset. I have contacted Visa to dispute the charge. My experience with Grammarly started well but has turned disappointing. I am seeking a $59.95 credit promptly.

Hi, I want to share my daughter’s experience with Grammarly. She signed up during the Black Friday sale, thinking she’d only be charged $5.00 but was actually charged $69.99. With only $15.00 in her account, she couldn’t afford this. She cancelled immediately but was told her subscription would last a year. She's seeking a refund but can't find a customer service number, even after emailing Grammarly. I'm hoping for assistance, and my contact number is [redacted].

I have written to this department numerous times, but it seems like I'm not getting any resolution. There are so many complaints and lack of respect for clients that it may be time to consider a class-action lawsuit. In several emails, I explained in detail that I believed I had canceled my account at the beginning of November to avoid any unexpected charges. Despite encountering issues with the system, I attempted to cancel my account multiple times. I followed all the necessary steps and even clicked on the option to delete the account to ensure the cancellation was successful. The usage activity ceased at the beginning of November, indicating that I had closed the account as intended. I am requesting a refund for the unauthorized $59.95 charge and will persist until this matter is resolved. - Patricia Z.

I bought Grammarly premium assuming I was only paying $11.99 per month. However, I was charged $[redacted] in full when I checked my bank account. I later noticed the down payment details in small print on the website. As a college student with limited funds, this unexpected charge is a significant amount for me. I would appreciate a full refund and wish to cancel my subscription completely. I have already ended my services. Thank you.

This is my seventh email regarding the unresolved $59.95 unauthorized charge. Despite multiple attempts, the issue remains unresolved. I am now contacting my VISA fraud department and the FCC due to the lack of response from the supposed Help Center. Numerous complaints on social media platforms paint a concerning picture of your business practices. It is crucial to address this issue promptly as deception will eventually be exposed. I seek reimbursement for the unauthorized charge.

I'm having trouble logging back into my Grammarly account after signing off. I was told that signing in with my Facebook account wouldn't work. Can someone assist with this issue? I would appreciate help in resolving this problem, as I had purchased the premium subscription and had been unable to log back in since last Saturday due to an incorrect email or a forgotten password. None of the suggested solutions seem to work. I just want to be able to access the service I paid for. Thank you.

I haven’t used Grammarly in over a year. I changed debit cards and wanted to cancel since the cancellation process is too complicated and ridiculous. I can’t sign in to the account with the email that is being charged, and I'm being billed for premium even though I haven't used it. I'm quite upset with how complicated this has been for me, especially since I'm being charged almost $60 for not using it. Please stop charging me and improve your website to be more user-friendly.

Hello, I am requesting a refund for the recent unauthorized payments deducted from my account. My university covers a similar website that I use, so I did not authorize these charges. Additionally, I do not require Grammarly at the moment as I will not be returning to study until mid-March. Thus, the subscription is unnecessary. I eagerly await your response. Best regards, LM

While looking into purchasing Grammarly Premium, I mistakenly entered my RUPAY debit card information. Grammarly does not accept payments from this type of card. Despite this, $1 (equivalent to 74.06 INR) was deducted without requiring a PIN or OTP verification. This deduction was incorrect for two main reasons. Firstly, Grammarly clearly states which debit cards it accepts, so the transaction should have failed initially with a RUPAY card. Secondly, I did not get redirected to the payment gateway to enter an OTP before the payment was made. I do not wish to subscribe to Grammarly Premium right now. There has been no explanation given for this charge. Please investigate the issue and process a refund for the incorrect deduction.

I recently noticed that Grammarly charged me $29.00 for the period between December 28 and January 28, [redacted]. Although I can access my account, I seem to only have access to the free features rather than the premium subscription I've been enjoying since November 27, [redacted]. Will I need to select the Premium option again and provide my debit card details to regain access to the premium features? I am concerned that another $29.00 might be deducted from my account if I proceed with this action.

Hello, I contacted someone earlier today about my account and payment (Request #[redacted]). A few hours ago, I purchased a 1-year subscription, intending it for my [redacted] account. I requested to change the account but haven't received a response since this morning. I have canceled my subscription, yet I am being informed that I will still be billed for the year. Why am I being charged for a service I have not utilized? Please update me on the situation and explain why payments are being deducted without my consent. Best regards, Tressia
