I have a Galaxy J* Emerge Android Samsung Phone. It is linked to Googlephotos in the cloud. My phone's storage is broken and they (Samsung) want me to clear it of all images. I am a photographer. I can not LOSE images. IF I delete all the images from my phone, as Samsung suggests, I am VERY WORRIED that, because my phone and Googlephotos are LINKed, I will ALSO LOSE the back up that is in the cloud with Googlephotos. I need to eradicate the link between the two so they are separated, then I can erase the images on my phone, and start fresh, and link them back up again. I have a back up called Time Machine that is a physical device that I plug into my computer and I THINK it backs up my photos but I am not sure as the photos in fact reside in the cloud.... ALSO, when the pictures are in Googlephotos their pixels are compressed for storage, but my concern is that If I delete the images form the phone, will I then LOSE the larger pixel size of my images, I cannot do that for obvious reasons as I need that to print professional photos. If I throw away my piece of **** phone then I will also want to download my pictures FROM Googlephotos back onto the new phone as it's less of a hassle to send them from the phone, as opposed to Googlephotos. AS YOU can see I have many questions (and many more I haven't even asked!) so I would REAAAAAAALY appreciate talking to a support person, this lack of human technical support is appalling.......
