I am having trouble accessing my Gmail account which was the backup for my phone. Unfortunately, my phone was stolen last month, and I just got a new one yesterday. I am unable to retrieve my Google backup because I cannot access my account. I am unsure if someone changed my password after stealing my phone or if I am simply not remembering it correctly. I have tried all the passwords I can think of with no success. When I try to enter the last password I remember, it says it was changed 8 months ago. My Gmail address is linked to my Facebook account, which I can access without any issues. I am frustrated that Google cannot verify my identity by checking my Facebook or the security questions I answered when creating the Gmail account. It is crucial for me to regain access to my Google backup as it contains important work contacts. The theft of my phone has greatly impacted my work and my family, and I need to resolve this issue promptly.

Hello, I am seeking assistance for my girlfriend whose phone and tablet have been hacked. The perpetrator managed to access her bank card, forcing us to cancel it and request a new one. I have also canceled the credit card she used and am replacing it. The affected devices are a Samsung Galaxy S7 phone and a Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 tablet. All her passwords have been changed, leaving her with no access to accounts, photos, emails, and more. We attempted a factory reset on the tablet, but were unable to proceed as it did not recognize her password and sent a recovery code to an unknown phone number. We have documentation proving her ownership of the tablet, purchased through her employer. We request assistance in rectifying this situation, with the hope of recovering her lost photos, including precious ones of our grandchildren. Your prompt help is greatly appreciated. Thank you, Stewart T.

I previously used my work email, [redacted], for my Google Calendar. However, due to our company switching to a business Amazon Prime account, I had to switch my personal Prime account to a new email, [redacted] Now, my calendar and documents are linked to this new Gmail address. I require assistance. I recently received help from Linda to make changes to my laptop. However, there seems to be an issue with my email address not matching my phone number. I acquired a new phone and synced it with my old one. I possess a recovery email and password, but despite showing my phone number on the laptop, I cannot sign in. The system does not recognize the correspondence between the email and phone number. I would greatly appreciate speaking to a representative about this matter. The email address in question is [redacted] and my phone number is [redacted]. Due to my learning disability, I struggle with technical aspects and need guidance through the process. My phone is vital for my daily functioning, especially since I suffered a brain injury. Managing my responsibilities and bills relies heavily on this device. Your assistance is crucial to me.

Hello, I recently purchased a new phone. I'm aware that recovering contacts/numbers is usually easy by signing into my Google account. After multiple attempts, I got blocked and was instructed to wait. Even after waiting overnight, I got blocked again. I then answered security questions, but was still told they couldn't verify me, which is frustrating as I'm visiting my mother out of state and need access to important flight and other information in my email. I had to create a new email just to be able to use the phone. Could someone please assist me in recovering my original email, [redacted]? Thank you for your help.

Hello, my name is Keri Lynn Siegel. Recently, a friend gave me his old cellphone, and now I've encountered an issue. Since I have a new phone and phone number, I've lost access to all my saved passwords. I believe I know the answers to my security questions, but they are not appearing for me to respond to. Unfortunately, contacting the number associated with my account is not possible as I no longer have that phone number. I intended to update the recovery phone number on file. I am seeking assistance with accessing three linked Gmail accounts: [redacted], [redacted], and [redacted] For security purposes, the phone number linked to my accounts needs to be updated from [redacted] to my new number, [redacted]. I am reachable at my new number for further communication. I am unable to recall the exact dates when the accounts were created, but the oldest should be watchandworship, while godizmydreamkeeper is the newest, established between February [redacted] and August [redacted]. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your assistance.

Subject: Urgent Help Needed to Address Defamatory Comments I need assistance urgently in addressing defamatory comments left on my Google Page. For years, I have been a target of harassment by a former classmate, Dennis D. Bryde, who has been making inappropriate and hurtful remarks about my personal life, including my bankruptcies. Despite seeking help from the authorities, as he is a former Police Officer, I have been unable to stop his stalking and hacking activities. Mr. Bryde has maliciously obtained sensitive information, such as my Social Security Number, and continues to bully me. I have exhausted all available options, including contacting the Meridian Township Police, Okemos, MI, to no avail. Given his connections within the community, I am left defenseless. My resources are limited, and I appeal to Google to remove the distressing content from my account. This prolonged harassment has forced me to abandon my home computer and social media accounts. I implore Google to intervene and assist me in this distressing situation. Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your understanding and support. Suzanne Mumy

Hello, I want to address a serious concern regarding the availability of information on the internet related to harmful activities such as tying a noose. Unfortunately, upon researching this topic, I was appalled to find multiple step-by-step guides on how to tie a noose or hang oneself. Given the increased awareness around mental health issues, it is crucial for platforms like yours that have extensive reach to take responsibility in protecting users, especially those vulnerable to such actions. While I appreciate steps taken by other platforms like Instagram to filter out harmful content, I believe more needs to be done to prevent the dissemination of these dangerous materials. I urge you to consider the gravity of this issue as it has the potential to positively impact and even save lives. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Hello, I am Garvit Aggarwal from India, and I would like to offer a suggestion for your company regarding Google Assistant. Currently, Google Assistant performs basic tasks such as opening apps, providing information, making calls, and other phone-related functions. However, to enhance its utility and appeal, I propose transforming it into a virtual friend that offers advice on relationships, career choices, fashion recommendations, and problem-solving. In today's world, while technology can do much for us, the absence of a supportive friend is keenly felt. By integrating these features, Google Assistant could evolve into a valuable companion in our daily lives, paving the way for a more advanced future and immersive virtual reality experiences. Despite being only 16 years old, I am eager to contribute to your company's efforts in developing this concept. I am unsure of how to proceed, but I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to collaborate and create a brighter future together. I sincerely hope you will consider my idea. Thank you, Garvit Aggarwal, Delhi, India

I recently bought a $[redacted] Google Play card to use for a plane ticket, only to find out I had been scammed. The scammer asked for another $[redacted] card promising a refund. I refused and sensed something was wrong. The phone number they provided is [redacted] with a person named Sam Patel. They even had a so-called Google Rep speak to me, who abruptly disconnected the call when I declined to buy another card. The experience was unsettling, especially with the foreign accent of the man I spoke to. I attempted to report the fraud but encountered difficulties. I am desperate to recover my funds since I'm a 75-year-old relying on Social Security. I hope this incident isn't reflective of your company's practices. I'm struggling to find a fraud hotline to contact directly for assistance. Yesterday, I was unable to speak to anyone despite being transferred by your helpdesk.

Hello, I am facing a lengthy issue that I hope you can help me with. In November [redacted], I discovered that a recurring charge of $9.99 was appearing on my bank statement from February to October [redacted], amounting to a total of $89.91. The charges were under the name “GOOGLE*Renderwis [redacted] CA.” I contacted Google immediately as I did not have any subscriptions on Google Play Store. Google directed me to contact my bank, which I did. My bank promptly canceled my debit card, issued a new one, and initiated an investigation. In February [redacted], the bank informed me that the charges were deemed legitimate, and they would not reimburse the money. Since then, I have been contacting Google daily in an attempt to resolve this matter and secure a refund, but I have not made any progress with their customer service. I am concerned as I have noticed similar complaints from others online regarding unauthorized charges from Google Services, prompting me to question the security of user accounts and credit card information. Given the significant amount involved, I would appreciate any assistance you can provide in addressing this issue.

My cell phone has been stolen, and unfortunately, it did not have a locate app installed. Even though there was a lock pin on the phone, I couldn't unlock it, so it's currently locked. Strangely, it seems to have been tampered with since my email was hacked, showing a different password and phone number attached to it. I urgently require assistance to unlock and locate the phone because it holds crucial contacts, especially those of my doctors due to my numerous medical conditions. Additionally, there are very private medical and personal notes in the notepad, including details about my mom's health issues. Given that I'm dealing with domestic abuse and suspect that my husband might be involved in the theft, the situation is even more challenging. To top it off, I struggle with computers and would appreciate detailed step-by-step guidance. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sadly, my mother-in-law recently passed away while on vacation in Spain. Regrettably, we believe that the funeral home may have taken some of her valuable items, including sentimental belongings and her android tablet. We suspect the tablet might hold important information and are hoping to use "find my device" to track its last location. This could provide crucial details for the Spanish authorities to investigate the theft. We do not need to access her email, just retrieve the tablet's last known whereabouts. We are willing to provide the necessary documents such as death certificates, although they are in Spanish until we obtain English copies.

I was charged for a Google ad campaign created by one of your specialists. Unfortunately, the keywords and calls received were not relevant to my business. Despite pausing it, the campaign resumed without my consent, leading to unexpected charges. The cost increased from $[redacted] to $[redacted], and despite contacting the specialist, charges continued, now totaling $[redacted]. I requested a refund over a month ago, but the Philippine supervisor has not taken any action. I paid in Australian dollars and would prefer to deal with someone locally. Google's lack of response is frustrating, as no one in Sydney seems to answer the phone. I feel like I've been scammed and want my refund promptly, along with compensation for the time wasted trying to resolve this issue.

Dear Google, Alphabet, or whichever name you prefer, Google remains the top search engine, despite privacy concerns, while the NWS NOW weather app by Joe Perkins stands out for its accuracy, readability, and depth of data, specifically for the U.S. Unfortunately, the app was removed from Google Play, a move I hope can be reversed to benefit its users. Regarding "Google Play services," it plays a critical role in updating Google apps and providing access to various functions, including user privacy settings. However, the playful name "Google Play" seems incongruous with its importance. Perhaps a more serious or descriptive name would better suit its purpose. Sincerely, Sta No

I am concerned about unauthorized Google purchases made by my 11-year-old grandson. These purchases are visible in both his Google Play account and my Cash App account. The Cash App reflects Google-issued refunds, but they have been stuck in "in review" status since February 17th. I have attempted to contact the Cash App team without success. The total refunds amount to approximately $1,[redacted] and have not been credited back to either the Cash App or the bank account linked to it. I am requesting Google to verify if the refunds were indeed credited to the Cash App and, if possible, to investigate why the Cash App has not released these Google refunds. The Google account used for the purchases is [redacted] Please send any responses to my recovery email: [redacted] Thank you, Patricia T.

During my grandson's spring break, he played Roblox and unintentionally made purchases totaling $[redacted] without my consent. I reached out for refunds, and while smaller purchases were refunded, larger ones between $50 and $[redacted] were denied based on the reason not aligning with their policy. The lack of transparency on refund limits is frustrating, especially when Google authorized one transaction but not the others. Living on a fixed income, this unexpected expense has put me in a difficult financial situation, facing potential utility disconnection and a shortage of funds for essentials. It's disheartening that Google would retain $[redacted] for in-game purchases made by a child. The situation feels unjust.
