I contacted Yahoo by phone about issues with my email account. I was told there was somebody in Dayton, Ohio signed on as I was in California.*Next, I was sent to Google with codes being sent to my from Google to authorize activity related to the hacking and receipt of the money from the yahoo settlement.**I was assigned the following case number: FAP*****This required recharging my Google account with a Google Play card for $**. I did that, then I was told I was not supposed to redeem it myself, and had to get another one. In this process I felt something was incorrect. **I refused to continue on a path that was most certainly did not feel correct. I was sent back to the Google rep who when I explained my lack of trust, hung up on me.**There seems to be a problem with this process and to continue, I need some assurance the people I am talking to with a Google search under: contact Google by phone, are actually your agents and not a phishing scam. **Additionally, I have no understanding why Yahoo would involve Google in this reimbursement nor hacked yahoo email. Perhaps, you could enlighten me.**Thank you for your assistance.
