I have not been able to download my gmail to Outlook on my computer since *******. I get a window with the pop.gmail.com server with my *****@***.com user name, asking for my password. Even when I retype it in, Sending completes but it hangs on Receiving. My husband's account is not affected. If I use internet Explorer or Chrome, I can access my gmail account on this computer, another tablet computer, and my tablet. The Password works. The password was verified by Microsoft yesterday. Howevver, there is something on the gmail side dated ****** I cannot clear. It states "Google prevented a sign-on from a less secure app" dated ****** at *:** PM. Would this effect the Outlook download. I have been working on this for over * hours and hope you can help.
