I own a Blackberry P***port and it may ask for permission for some things, etc* pictures, Music, Do***ents, etc. It's very rare that apps ask for more than what it needs.**On the Android platform is much different. Everything that is your phone has permissions are required and to top it off it has In-app Purchases and ads! Why does a WiFi Scanner need all of these permissions, for an example?**I try not to down any of these apps as it is an invasion of my privacy. Most apps don't need half of these things. The advertising or In-app purchase on some apps in crazy, you can't get anything done with because of them.* Why do app developers need all this information about me or anyone else? To me, this is Facebook and Cambridge Analytica. Developers don't need all this information on anyone, its just data mining.**Regards**Jeff de Bruin
I trust that Google will make this right and come up with a resolution that is fair.
