Hello, I am a musician and a Google Play customer. I encountered an issue where my album was removed from the platform due to what I believe is exceeding the streaming limit. I have a few inquiries regarding this situation. 1. Is it possible to have my album reinstated on the site? 2. Will I still be compensated for the streams made before its removal? 3. Could you provide clarification on the allowable number of streams per artist per week/month without violating policies? The last question is of great importance to me. Despite my efforts to research this online beforehand, I could not find any information. Since my album was removed, I assume there is a fair usage policy in place. It would be helpful if Google Play could offer more details on this policy. As a loyal paying customer, I expect unlimited music streaming and could not locate any specifics regarding streaming personal music. While I understand and accept any regulations or limits, I believe it is the company's responsibility to clearly communicate these. I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter. Thank you

I recently fell victim to a scam involving someone claiming to be from Microsoft and requesting a Google Play Gift Card purchase from me. I bought a $[redacted].00 card as instructed but thankfully did not send it to the scammer. Unfortunately, I have no need for the card as I am an 80-year-old retiree who is not tech-savvy and has no one to give it to. I cannot afford to lose $[redacted] and was hoping for a refund, as I mistakenly believed it was a general gift card that could be returned. Customer service informed me that I am unable to receive a refund, but I am unsure if that is accurate. I would appreciate any assistance on how to proceed. Thank you. Best, D. Loeding 17 Hill Street Branford, CT [redacted] [redacted]

I recently canceled my subscription with Chegg, which was managed through Google Play. Even though the last payment date was on April 25th, the Chegg website shows that I will be charged again on May 25th. Chegg is unable to help me close the account because it was initially opened through Google Play. I'm concerned about being charged again on May 25th, so I need assistance in ensuring the subscription is fully removed. I've already removed the subscription from my Google Play account and deleted my payment information to prevent any further charges.

I completed a loan application form on Wednesday, May 1st, [redacted], between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. The transaction took place at Walgreens in Maplewood, Minnesota, with a loan officer. He instructed me to load $97.70 onto a $10 to $[redacted] Google Play card from the gift card aisle. There was some confusion about the amount, as he mentioned $90.17, but upon verification, it was actually $97.70. I was short $0.53, so he advised loading $90.70 onto another Google Play card to receive my full loan amount. Since then, I have received multiple calls from a person named Steve, who claims to be my loan officer. I appreciate the Google Play fraud department looking into this matter and hope for a resolution. Thank you.

I recently purchased a Rs [redacted] Google Play voucher through "Phone Pay," but I haven't received the voucher code yet. The amount was debited from my bank account. I contacted "Phone Pay" customer service, and they advised me to wait for 2 days as they mentioned it is related to "Google Play." However, waiting is not convenient for me as I need the cash urgently for a purchase. I seek a prompt resolution to this issue.

My child made numerous purchases through his mobile game (Aion Legions) without my knowledge until recently. I initially suspected my wife but discovered it was the mobile game after investigating. Upon discussing the issue with my child, it became clear he was unaware that the purchases were using real money. I have successfully obtained refunds for some transactions, but I am unable to refund more online, possibly due to reaching a limit. There are charges dating back to January, and I am frustrated by the situation. I have now given my child an allowance and confirmed that charges from 5/2 onwards are legitimate. However, the total charges since January exceed $1,[redacted]. Is there any possible way for me to recover some of this money? Thank you.

I purchased a pack, requested a refund, and tried a different one due to mislabeling by the developers. After being denied a refund for the second purchase, all items bought since April 25th were given for free, making my previous purchases pointless, rendering the game unplayable for me. Despite contacting the developers, I only received generic responses. I believe my money was scammed as my old purchases weren't updated and queries went unanswered. The pack's instant unlock feature also did not work, constituting false advertising. Unfortunately, the Google Play refund site seems to automatically reject my requests, no matter how I explain the situation.

I am concerned that my Google Play gift card was redeemed by someone else without my knowledge. Despite contacting Google Play customer support, I was informed that they are unable to disclose the account that used my gift card. I even offered evidence of ownership and requested to freeze the balance in the unauthorized account, but they declined, citing their policy of not sharing user information. This experience has left me feeling frustrated as I believe there should be a better process in place for addressing gift card theft. I have encountered similar challenges with Apple support in the past. It seems like there are limited options available to victims of gift card fraud. My suggestion moving forward would be to take precautions to prevent gift card theft, as it appears difficult to recover funds once a theft has occurred. Thank you.

Good day, I'm looking to create a new email address. I've been attempting to reach support by phone using the number on the back of the Play card, [redacted], and another one provided when I spoke briefly with a customer service representative, [redacted]. I've endured a 50-minute hold with the on-hold music on four separate occasions when calling. There's no option for a callback. Here's the unreadable Play card I have. Returning to the retailer didn't help. I'm hoping to receive a refund for the card since I don't require that amount in Google Play credits for apps and other limited products. One would expect a company of this scale to accommodate such requests, but I doubt that will be the case. If not, I'll need the card to be redeemed to the Gmail account associated with this message. Thank you in advance. Kevin Ciralsky

Hello, I am reaching out regarding an app my son downloaded that offered a 3-day free trial. We uninstalled the app on the same day as we did not find it valuable. However, after 3 days, a significant sum was deducted from my account. I contacted Google customer care via live chat, and they advised me to email the developer, which I have done, but I have not received a response yet. Google customer care explained that instead of uninstalling, we should have unsubscribed, which they have done for me. I kindly request assistance in obtaining a refund for the deducted amount. I am eagerly awaiting your response. Thank you.

Hello. I have four ebooks that are currently being sold on Google Play Books by a company called "StreetLib." I would like to revoke their distribution rights and distribute my titles directly on Google Play, preferably through a U.S.-based company. The reason for this change is because StreetLib has been disorganized and inconsistent with royalty payments. I am a U.S. citizen with a U.S. bank account and a Social Security number, willing to provide a W-9 form. My titles are as follows: 1. Curso de Inglés Inglés para Españoles Nivel Inicial Intermedio 2. Curso de Inglés Inglés para Españoles Nivel Superior 3. Corso di Inglese English for Italians Corso Base 4. Corso di Inglese English for Italians Corso Superior Thank you. Debra Lynn Hillman

The other day, I was told to buy a card from a woman from Washington, DC with the number [redacted]. She called herself Michelle. After looking up the number, it was linked to a Bandwidth account in Washington, DC and New York. She gave me a reference number "RC for 75" which led me to a man posing as a Federal bank manager named David with the phone number [redacted]. They are connected through Bandwidth. They took my money, but I can't find any receipt in my email account. I want them caught immediately. I found in the policy that such transactions should be traceable. They both have Bandwidth accounts connected to broadcasts in New York. Please investigate promptly, or I will involve the FBI. The situation is frustrating, and it seems like people are being deceived through your company's association with Bandwidth.

I recently spent $[redacted] on a card with the promise of receiving $8,[redacted], but the person, Michelle from Washington DC, asked for an additional $[redacted]. I'm concerned about being scammed and expressed my frustration. It seems there are some questionable practices happening with individuals connected to your company, possibly affiliated with a broadcasting system in New York. These scammers are causing distress, and I'm considering reporting this issue.

I recently had to perform a factory reset on my LG Stylo 3, which resulted in all my data being wiped. I can power up the phone now, but it's asking for a Google account to link to. Despite entering my Gmail account "[redacted]," it keeps prompting me for the Gmail account the phone is linked to, which it never has been before. My carrier is Tello.

I discovered that my phone was unable to make or receive calls. When I attempted to access my email accounts, none of them were accessible. After contacting StraightTalk following the recent service plan refill, they explained that someone had assigned my phone number as their primary number. They provided me with a new number, yet I continue to face issues accessing any of my accounts, particularly [redacted] where I have subscriptions. I am eager to regain access to all my accounts and have been unable to log into my Facebook account. I am also seeking reimbursement for the subscription fees paid this month, as I have been unable to utilize any of the services. Your assistance is greatly appreciated. - Rachel (P.) Golden

Hello, I contacted AVG earlier today to discuss my situation. I explained that I have mistakenly purchased AVG services multiple times. Recently, when attempting to protect my new phone, AVG didn't allow me to utilize my existing subscription, prompting me to buy the app from Google Play. Despite having an active direct subscription with AVG for over [redacted] euros annually, I also unknowingly paid about 10 euros for a subscription last year through Google Play, which I shouldn't have needed. After canceling one service on Google Play, I was informed no refund would be issued. In total, I have spent around 45 euros on services duplicating what I already pay AVG for directly. Could you please assist me in canceling and receiving refunds for the duplicate AVG subscriptions purchased via Google Play? Thank you, M.L.

Dear Sir/Madam, I recently purchased the Prime Plus pack for one month. However, due to financial constraints as a student, I am unable to afford the higher cost for the second month. I had planned to cancel my subscription on the evening of the 5th, before it renewed on the 6th. Unfortunately, I received a message at 16:02 stating that ₹[redacted] had been withdrawn from my account without my authorization. I immediately canceled the subscription, but I have not received a refund yet. I kindly request your assistance in facilitating the return of the ₹[redacted] to my account. Thank you for your help.

I recently reviewed my bank statement and noticed some discrepancies. While I did make a few purchases on Coin Master, such as packages, spins for £3.99 and 79p items, the excessive charges I'm seeing daily do not reflect my actual spending. I've enjoyed playing the game until now, but the inflated charges are concerning. I haven't made as many £3.99 transactions in a single day as shown, and I believe there has been a mistake. I feel disappointed and would like to have my bank details removed and blocked to prevent further charges. Kindly rectify this issue and refund the unfair charges. My name on Facebook for the game is Clare Grey, but my bank account is under Deborah Archer. You can reach me at [redacted]9 or via email at [redacted]

I have been struggling to reach Google support over the past two days and have only received a series of links directing me on how to request a refund on Google Play under my account, located in NY. Unfortunately, I have not made any progress on resolving the issue. I quickly reached out to Google once I was alerted by PayPal about an unauthorized charge of $10.99 for a cute emoji keyboard app that my teenage daughter mistakenly purchased on my phone. It seems she accidentally pressed the wrong button without realizing the purchase was made under my account. I am hoping to receive assistance in obtaining a refund for this charge so I can promptly uninstall the app in question. Thank you for your help. Contact Information: Initials: A. M.-M. I am a victim of a scam where I lost $1,[redacted].00. After going through some difficulties in the past months, including a bank account hacking, I mistakenly believed the scammers' claim that my accounts were going to be frozen. Consequently, on 05/07/[redacted], I purchased 2 gift cards worth $[redacted] each in a panicked state. When I realized it was a scam, I checked the card balances only to find out they were already redeemed within 20 minutes of buying them. Being 72 years old and on a fixed income, this loss is devastating. I plan to report this incident to the police. I am currently staying at my daughter's house due to my husband's high blood pressure and anger. This situation has strained our 30-year marriage, and I feel lost. Any advice on what steps I can take would be appreciated. Thank you.
