The issue in GetHuman1662739's own words
I installed the unroll.me app from Google Play to stop spam in Gmail. The app asked for many potentially invasive permissions. *The app made itself part of my Gmail menu, (the menu with options to get to All Mail, Priority Mail, Spam, Social Mail etc.). My Gmail address is *****@***.com. *The app didn't help with spam at all. All it did was to pop up it asking me if I wanted to unsubscribe from my subscriptions each time I got an email from one of my subscriptions. *The app was annoying and worthless so I uninstalled it. Their pop ups stopped but the app remained on my Gmail menu. It's my belief they kept their permissions as well.*I wrote to their developer and support team. The support wrote back. I tried their advice and it didn't work.*I logged into my Gmail on a different device and saw that the app was still on my Gmail menu. Thus I know it's made itself part of my Google account program and not just embedded on the one device I originally used.*There are several things I would like Google Play to do. *First, remove this app from the Google Play Store as it doesn't meet Google Play Store's standards, for one, that an app should be easy to uninstall.*Most important to me is I would like this horrible app to not be in my Gmail menu, for any permissions it's kept to be blocked and for it not to be in my Google account at all.*Thank you
