I had a distressing encounter where I was bullied by a manager and a server. When I called the next morning, the individual I spoke to initially claimed to be the store manager, then the general manager. When I requested the owner’s contact details, his tone indicated he was dismissive and likely to support his employees. As he appeared argumentative and unprofessional, I chose not to continue discussing the matter with him.

During my first day at work last night, I had a terrible experience that I feel shocked and embarrassed about. The general manager advised me that two of my coworkers were using marijuana while on duty and warned me to be cautious around them. The chef training me even dropped uncooked chicken on the floor and put it back in the fryer when I questioned him. The situation was traumatic, and if no one contacts me to address this incident by Sunday evening, I will have to consider taking legal action.

Upon being seated at our table, we waited for approximately 10 minutes before flagging down a server to order drinks and plates. To our surprise, the server who brought our items was not even assigned to our table. Despite our party of 5, only 2 sets of silverware were provided, leading us to request more from a different server. Unfortunately, our server did not return to check on us or offer drink refills throughout the meal. We had to request everything we needed as it was not provided proactively. The service we received was lacking compared to other tables attended to by a young, female server of color whose name we are unaware of. Despite our disappointment, we opted not to speak with the manager as we doubted it would lead to an improvement in service. Our experience took place at the Golden Corral located at [redacted] Wilma Rudolph Blvd in Clarksville, TN [redacted].

To whom it may concern, I am reaching out regarding the Golden Corral in San Angelo, Texas, as I believe it is on a downward slope. I remember when the Golden Corral was at a different location in San Angelo, at the Twin Peaks restaurant. That establishment was closed due to negligence. Recently, a new Golden Corral was opened, but my experience there on 3-26-21 at 7:00 PM was disappointing. The manager, a heavyset lady (name unknown), seemed unable to run the place effectively. The food quality was unacceptable, and the limited staff was struggling to keep up. Observing the workers, it was evident that they were not trained properly, leading to a lack of standards. I raised my concerns with the manager, but her reaction was indifferent. I believe improvements in management and staff training are necessary to avoid a repeat of the fate of the previous Golden Corral. I hope this feedback leads to positive changes. I work at Golden Corral in Killeen, Texas on W. Central Tx Expressway. Recently, I experienced a family death and informed my employer, clocking out to deal with the situation. When I attempted to return to work, they asked for proof, but the funeral isn't until next week and I couldn't provide an obituary yet. They insisted I couldn't come back without it. I have never called in or missed work before and now feel unjustly treated. Despite having my children, I have always managed to work with proper arrangements. I will have the proof after the funeral, which is in a week. I am looking to speak with someone regarding this matter.

As a man with physical disabilities, getting a meal at your establishment has been challenging. In the past 5-6 weeks, I've visited twice but faced difficulties in selecting food and finding appropriate seating. It's frustrating that I couldn't even manage a simple bowl of ice cream. I am seeking assistance from a customer service representative to address an issue with Golden Corral's rewards app program. The program requires entering a number from the meal purchase ticket to earn points for discounts or free meals. When I reached [redacted] points, I encountered a problem entering the reward number. I recently had dinner at Golden Corral in Concord, NC on Friday, October 29, [redacted]. Our bill came to $73.43. However, when I tried to redeem points through the rewards program, it didn't credit me for the purchase, claiming I had used a credit within four hours, even though I hadn't made any credit transactions in a week. This is disappointing as we are regular customers who dine there weekly. If this issue persists, we may have to consider dining at a different restaurant.

During early lunchtime at store #[redacted] in Springfield, MO, I observed two workers in the bathroom. One was bald and standing near the sink, while the other had wavy hair and did not wash his hands after using the bathroom and went straight to the back area. Both had blue shirts, likely in management. I am unsure if the bald worker washed his hands. I ate the prepared food but felt uneasy about the hygiene practices. I wanted to inform corporate about the incident to ensure customer safety and share my concerns about the lack of handwashing. I have my receipt with some illegibility due to a white strip, but it should be mostly readable for verification purposes.

My family and I recently dined at Golden Corral in Janesville to celebrate my granddaughter's birthday with a group of ten. While the food was okay, there were some concerning incidents during our visit. Children were running around and touching food items like pizza and watermelon, which was unhygienic. The fried chicken was overcooked and the ham and ribs were hard to access due to a lack of staff at the food counter. A fire alarm went off when a child accidentally pushed a door, causing a scare. Additionally, the ice cream area was messy with cones, water, and ice cream dripping onto the floor. When I asked a worker about it, their response was dismissive. Overall, the problems we encountered affected the enjoyment of the birthday celebration, prompting me to inquire about the possibility of reimbursement or receiving gift cards for a better experience in the future. I hope the restaurant can address these issues promptly and improve the dining experience for other guests.

On October 8th, my family visited the Golden Corral on Jefferson Ave in Rochester. I have a grandson who is autistic, and I explained at the entrance that he wouldn't be eating. Unfortunately, the waitress who served us was abrupt and asked to see my receipt, which I showed her and clarified about my grandson not eating. She then informed the manager, who also requested to see the receipt, causing an uncomfortable situation. Throughout our meal, we felt like we were being stared at, and my grandson ended up feeling so bad that he had to leave the table and go to the car. The way we were treated made us feel humiliated, and I believe the manager should be held accountable for their actions. We have to return to Rochester for my grandson's medical appointments, but we are hesitant to visit this restaurant again to avoid a repeat of this unpleasant experience.

We dine at Golden Corral in Galveston, TX around three times a week. Unfortunately, during our recent visits, a waitress has been bringing her young kids or grandkids to work. These children, around 3 to 4 years old, are left to run wild, causing disruptions and nearly leading to accidents while we are trying to enjoy our meals. Other waitresses have been distracted trying to control them instead of focusing on serving customers. I considered complaining to the manager, but as I discovered he is married to the lady bringing the kids, I felt it would not be productive. I prefer to have a peaceful meal without such disturbances; yesterday was the final straw for me. I kindly request a full refund for my wife and myself, as we will not be returning to this Golden Corral. We plan to visit one in Houston despite the extra distance to avoid this type of inconvenience.

Regarding Order #[redacted][redacted] I am seeking a refund of $24.28 from Golden Corral ("GC"). On 7/06/22, I placed an order through the GC app for delivery from the Lamb Blvd restaurant in Las Vegas. The order was canceled by GC due to item unavailability. I made payment using a GC gift card and cash. Despite GC instructing me to contact DoorDash for a refund, DoorDash couldn't assist as the order was made through the GC app. DoorDash informed the GC manager to issue the refund, but this was not done despite my efforts over 2 weeks contacting them and corporate. I am now escalating this issue due to the financial impact it has on my fixed income. I aim to resolve this matter before taking further steps with consumer protection agencies.

I went to this restaurant to celebrate my birthday with my family. Unfortunately, the cashier didn't apply the birthday coupon I showed her, and I ended up paying full price for four adult meals and a child's meal. The restrooms were dirty, as was the salad bar, with lettuce scattered all over but barely any in the bowls. When I asked for an extra rare steak, the cook repeatedly got it wrong, serving a well-done steak instead. The language barrier made it difficult to communicate my order. Despite seeking help, the service was slow and rude. We waited a long time for drinks to be refilled, and the delayed steak never arrived until my fiancé intervened. I felt ignored and frustrated. Even after reaching out to Golden Corral via email, I received no response, adding to my disappointment. Overall, it was a regrettable and costly experience, and I won't be returning.

I received 2 Golden Corral gift cards for Mother's Day. The packaging states that they have no value until activated, but there are no instructions on how to activate them. I called the [redacted] number on the back of the card and was instructed to enter a 13 to 19 digit account number, yet none of the numbers on the card were labeled as such. I attempted to enter each long number on the back of the card as the account number, but each time I was informed that it was incorrect. Each card is worth $25.00, and I am hoping to have them activated or replaced with cards that I can activate. Any guidance would be appreciated.

During my recent visit to your restaurant in Williamsburg, VA on 6/02/23, I encountered an issue regarding my daughter's dietary needs. She can only consume puréed/mashed/soft foods due to cerebral palsy, and I requested eggs and gravy for her, a simple dish not on the regular menu. Despite my explanation, the cashier insisted on the child menu, which was not suitable. I believe having a menu specifically for people with eating disabilities like my daughter would be a helpful solution to avoid such situations in the future. I have noticed a lack of understanding and compassion towards those with disabilities in restaurants during our travels, and I urge for more sensitivity towards such individuals. Hopefully, by sharing my experience, I can bring attention to this issue and prompt positive change for those with eating disabilities.

I placed an order for a gift card last Friday and paid for overnight delivery for $42. However, the order was not processed. I then reordered on Sunday, July 30, and paid for another overnight delivery for a birthday gift. As of today, I still have not received a delivery confirmation for the card. I called customer service at Golden Corral and waited for 40 minutes, only to be informed that the card has not been sent out yet. My order number is # CND6JJFKCX. I simply want the card delivered to my family member (4 days late) and the expedited shipping charges removed.

I noticed that the food items on the serving line were cold, including chicken-fried fish and fried shrimp. I observed a cook eating in plain view, but didn't mention it to the management. When I informed them about the cold food, the manager said she would cook fresh items. While waiting, I saw another employee eating mushrooms directly from the serving line with bare hands, which concerned me. After reporting it to management and seeing no improvement, I asked for a refund twice but was denied. When I spoke with the owner, I was informed that no refunds are given if you have eaten any portion of the food, and it's acceptable for employees to eat in the kitchen or on the serving line. The owner sarcastically thanked me for bringing it to their attention.

Earlier today, on Oct 20 at approximately 1:30 p.m., my husband and I dined at a restaurant located at [redacted] Browns Mill Road in Johnson City, TN [redacted]. During our meal, my husband discovered a round piece of black plastic in his potatoes. We voiced our concern to two different managers, but both dismissed us without any concern. I was deeply disappointed and upset by the lack of response. Regrettably, I did not keep the receipt for our visit. We used to frequent this restaurant once a week, but after this experience, we have decided not to return. It's truly unbelievable for a restaurant to handle a situation this way.

Good morning! I had been looking forward to spending Thanksgiving with my children as we don't have family around, so I saved up all November for this special meal. Unfortunately, when I arrived at the Bronx location, I found out they were only serving Thanksgiving dinner with different prices, and I couldn't afford it. I tried explaining my situation to the manager, but she was unkind and turned us away. We are a group of 4 and I had $68 for our meal, now we have to go home empty-handed. It's disheartening to encounter such cold and disrespectful behavior, especially on Thanksgiving. Hard times affect us all, so I wish the manager could have been more understanding and accommodating.
