Despite GoFundMe initially stating the issue was resolved, subsequent messages indicated an error. Today, I submitted my bank statement and a voided check to verify my account details. Currently unemployed due to caring for my husband during his battle with COVID-19, I am unsure how to proceed in accessing these funds to cover my expenses. I'm having trouble with the Text Verification on GoFundMe because my phone is currently not in service. I rely on GoFundMe to seek help with my financial struggles, such as affording gas to commute to work. While I understand the need for security measures, not being able to use my phone makes the verification process challenging for me.

I am experiencing difficulties withdrawing funds from my GoFundMe account as the main person I work with on the fundraising project is based in Zimbabwe, a country not supported by GoFundMe. I replied to their email on September 10th, providing my details as an Australian fund recipient who pays my producer in Zimbabwe through Western Union, which I confirmed is permissible as per their guidelines. I initiated a fundraising campaign to cover my daughter's dog's vet bills. The campaign was successful initially, but on Tuesday, it suddenly vanished. When trying to access it, I encounter an error message. Unfortunately, I used the wrong email address to start the campaign and wasn't able to correct it. I contacted customer service via email, received a reply asking for confirmation from the correct email, and since then, there has been no further communication after multiple email attempts. I even reached out to a different contact but haven't received a response. The funds were donated by contributors and deducted from their accounts, but we didn't set up a bank account to receive the money, and now the account has disappeared.

Hello, I'm Deon Monroe. Some close friends started a GoFundMe for me during my chemo treatment to raise money. Lately, I've been trying to have them withdraw the donations, but due to them being busy with a new baby, they haven't been able to access the account. Unfortunately, they didn't add me as a beneficiary or share the login details with me. I have surgery scheduled for October 12th to address my cancer, so I'm hoping to find a way to access the funds myself. The account is under the name Deon Monroe for Testicular Cancer in Centerville, South Dakota. They included my bank details, social security number, and driver's license number in the account.

For the past 9 days, we have continually submitted all the required forms as requested by your team. Despite our consistent efforts, there seems to be an issue with verifying our account information, which has remained unchanged for the past 10 years. We have provided driver's ID, EIN Number 45-[redacted], as well as our bank account details - the account ending in [redacted] and routing number [redacted]21, both of which have not changed over the last decade. We've even gone as far as submitting our taxes to ensure everything is in order. This repetitive process of resubmitting the same information is turning into a nightmare for us. If verification continues to be an obstacle, we may have no choice but to request a refund of all funds and seek out an alternative platform for our business operations. The lack of customer service availability is also concerning, and if this issue persists, we will have no option but to close our account with GofundMe. For the last 9 days, we have diligently resubmitted every form requested by your team. Despite this effort, we continue to face challenges verifying our account that has remained unchanged for over a decade. We have provided our driver's ID and EIN Number 45-[redacted]. The bank account details also remain consistent with the last 4 digits being [redacted] and the routing number [redacted]21 for the past 10 years. The repeated requests for the same information have made this process a nightmare. We have even gone so far as to submit our taxes to assist in the verification process. Rest assured, the issue does not lie with our submission. If the account cannot be verified, we may be forced to request a return of funds and seek alternative platforms for our business needs. A fund was recently set up to assist with my mother's medical expenses. A close friend organized this and made me the administrator. After verification of my details, I was informed that I would only receive $71.92 per day. This is not ideal as we need to pay medical bills promptly. I created a GoFundMe account for my brother who passed away, with my mom listed as the overseer. Despite submitting all requested documents like birth certificates, driver's licenses, death certificate, and more, we have not received any response within the approaching 90-day limit. My mom, Dixie, is not familiar with handling emails and is struggling with the process. We just want to properly bury my brother. On May 28th, I woke up to a devastating fire that destroyed everything I owned. Desperate for help, my nephew created a GoFundMe page on May 29th or 30th for my Marine Corps unit, friends, and family to contribute. The donations were pouring in, exceeding $[redacted] an hour and reaching over $[redacted]. However, to my shock, the funds were inexplicably refunded without any explanation. Despite my attempts to reach out, it wasn't until last month that the page reappeared. This time, unfortunately, there were no donations as people suspected foul play or hacking due to the sudden disappearance of the page. Just when I thought things couldn't get worse, I received an email informing me of a $[redacted] refund, the second donation since May that you have interfered with. As a US Marine facing homelessness, this situation has left me feeling incredibly violated and frustrated.

I'm trying to access my grandson's GoFundMe account to support his school fundraiser by buying some goodies. However, I keep encountering an issue where it requests a group number in addition to his ID. Other users do not face this problem and can proceed with just the ID number. I possess his ID number and simply want to order popcorn, candy, and cookies to contribute to his cause and assist the school.

I have been attempting to withdraw funds for weeks now to cover funeral expenses, but have been facing challenges. I am frustrated because I cannot find any help or a contact number to resolve the issue. The bank, in connection with GoFundMe, is sending verification codes to a different number than the one on my account, leading to transfer errors. I disagree with your company's recent decision regarding Jennifer Bridges' account on GoFundMe. I find Jennifer Bridges to be admirable and courageous. The reason cited for removing her account, which was "misinformation" on vaccine mandates, should be re-evaluated by GoFundMe. One suggestion would be for your company to review the statistics reported by EudraVigilance of the European Medicines Agency. Additionally, reviewing the situations in countries with high vaccine participation rates like Singapore, Iceland, and Israel might provide more context. For instance, despite Iceland's participation rate being around 82%, the number of virus cases increased. Dr. Fauci even previously mentioned the need for a 70% population vaccination rate to achieve herd immunity. Statista is known for compiling and analyzing data, including data that questions the effectiveness of mRNA vaccines. Would GoFundMe remove accounts associated with Statista as well? Governor Abbott of Texas recently signed an order to prevent discrimination against the unvaccinated. Despite these points, GoFundMe's decision regarding Ms. Bridges' account is perceived as disgraceful. I intend to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission over this matter. The individuals responsible for this decision should feel ashamed. This incident has solidified my decision to never open an account with your company.

A few months ago, I applied for a $5,[redacted] loan for our new grandbaby. I have reported all the information to websites like the FBI, Consumer Protection, Eldercare, and Consumer Finance. The individual still has active cell and business phones with supposed broker credentials in Miami, FL. I possess all the prepaid cards, store receipts, and detailed emails received from him. He has demanded an additional $[redacted] from my family and friends for a $27,[redacted] loan, claiming it's the lowest his bankers will go. I've already spent over $12,[redacted] from my credit and savings with no return. He has my personal information and continues to make threatening calls. I am not just scared but also financially vulnerable at 70 years old. I've always aided others in need, but they usually disappear. I urgently require between $[redacted] and $5,[redacted] to prevent losing many possessions. I've never sought charity before and genuinely need help. On October 5th, I was informed that I would receive the charity funds within 2-5 days. After 10 days, I contacted GoFundMe and was asked to re-enter my details, which I did. I was then assured that I would receive the funds within 2-5 days, but another 10 days have passed, and still, I have not received anything. Now, they are requesting that I upload my license or passport, which I am hesitant to do. It has been over 3 weeks, and each email I receive is automated and repetitive. If I had known from the beginning that I needed to upload such personal documents, I would not have used GoFundMe. The amount involved is only £[redacted], and my friends who used competitors were paid without any issues weeks ago after their charity events. I'm awaiting your reply.
