Hello! I've been trying to contact gofundme customer service for a week now, but I've only received automated messages and no helpful responses. We are having trouble withdrawing funds as the sms code for identity verification is not working, and we are unable to add beneficiary details. Additionally, we are unsure how to transfer funds to our non-profit organization's European account in Italy under the name of the president Dario Giuffrida. We urgently need assistance to resolve this issue as our campaign is time-sensitive. We are feeling quite frustrated with the lack of support from customer service. Our account name is ayapyma fund.

I was notified by Wepay that a donation I made didn't process, so I submitted another one for the same amount. Now they're claiming at my bank that all three payments were approved, although I only intended to donate $1,[redacted], not $1,[redacted]. I've attempted to reach out to Wepay without success. I am considering involving the FBI to investigate GoFundMe and Wepay, along with getting my bank engaged to pursue felony charges against both companies for falsely reporting rejected donations. Last night, I intended to donate $22.00 anonymously, but mistakenly donated $[redacted].00 instead. I have the confirmation email as proof. I am requesting to either reduce the donation to the intended amount or cancel it entirely. I can provide further verification if needed. The donation was made approximately 10 hours ago.

I am disappointed by the lack of transparency regarding the fees charged by GoFundMe. When setting up a campaign, it was not clearly explained that a 2.9% plus $0.30 per donation charge would apply. Instead, the messaging implies that GoFundMe operates on donor tips and has a 0% platform fee for organizers. This misleading information led me to believe that the entire donation would go to the cause. I request a refund of the $17 unjustly deducted from my donations, and urge GoFundMe to change their language to be more honest and transparent in the future.

I’ve been patiently waiting for over a month and a half for my donation to arrive, but it seems to have gone missing. I managed the GoFundMe campaign "Bringing Baby Bentley Home" to support a friend's legal battle against an adoption of her child. After winning the court case, one of the former adoptive parents accused me of fraud on social media and urged people to report the fundraiser. Initially, I provided my bank details and a legal ID copy. Following that, I received an estimated transfer date confirmation. After a week, I received an email requesting another legal ID upload. I complied by submitting a copy of my driver's license and was given a new estimated transfer date. The cycle repeated after another week with a request for a government-issued ID, which I promptly uploaded. Despite receiving confirmation messages, no funds have reached my account. Upon checking my account, a notification warned that the funds might be returned to the donors if not withdrawn soon. The website mentioned it would take 2 to 5 business days, but the expected date was June 23rd, which has passed. I urgently need the money and was relying on the quicker timeline. Funds were collected to cover all expenses for the memorial and funeral, but there are still three outstanding bills. The balance was not put into an account for the surviving children as requested in the donation appeal. The organizer handed over the funds to the father, believing the boys' accounts were set up; however, the father was informed of the outstanding bills at that time and said he would handle them. Despite multiple requests and messages, the bills remain unpaid. The organizer has urged the father to address these matters to no avail. It is unfair to hold the organizer accountable as he informed the father of the situation, and the father committed to resolving it. Concerns arise as $19,[redacted] intended for the memorial was transferred to the father instead. To honor the donors' intentions, all expenses must be settled, and the remaining funds should benefit the surviving boys. Transparency and accountability are essential to maintain trust in donation initiatives. It is imperative to address these outstanding issues promptly and ensure the funds are used in accordance with donors' expectations.
